Henry gets so excited when he knows it is his day to go play with his buddies at Rover Resort. He sits by his leash closet waiting for me to get him ready. One of the things that I like most about RR is that he gets supervised play times throughout the day with pups of a similar size and activity level. He has also vacationed at Rover for a week or more at least four times. The care he has received during those times has always been top notch. I am extremely pleased with the professional, caring services that Henry receives at Rover Resort. Jeff and his staff do a great job!

The people that work at the McKinney Texas Daycare are so nice and friendly. Our kid Boone loves it when he gets to come and play with all of his new friends. We are so happy we found this place. Our baby boy gets lots of love and exercise in their very big yards.

**Update: after posting my review. Rover Ranch reached out to me to refund the day that was missed. That is excellent business, in my opinion!Very clean facilities. Efficient check-in process. During inventory check they caught that I missed a day of food for our pup. So grateful for them catching this immediately. Our dog eats grain free, so I had to run out to the nearest pet store to get her food. The staff is very friendly and our dog appeared very happy in our daily emailed postcards (part of their add ons). However, they did miss a day, so we got 5 out of 6 daily updates. I called to tell them and they said they would adjust the bill. However, after checking out and reviewing the itemized receipt no deduction was taken. It would have been 5 stars if that didn't happen. However, yes, we will visit again! Thanks to everyone that took care of our pup! We had peace of mind during our vacation knowing she was in a safe place and getting lots of attention.

Rover Resort has been nothing shy of an amazing experience for us. We moved to TX less than a year ago and our Goldendoodle has been going to Rover ever since. They love my girl and treat her with such kindness and respect. The staff are incredibly attentive and Professional. Facility is immaculate at all times. Lila has her “boy” group that she hangs out with every week and is the Queen Bee of said boys. I cannot say enough about this place. Check it out for sure. Only thing that could use a little work is communication about Management change, etc.

Great staff- they are very caring and thorough with animal care. Seemed to be well trained staff. My dog looks out the back window as we drive home. Tells me she enjoys her dog daycare.

Very kind and friendly staff. Much better experience than the vet boarding we've done in the past. Plus my pup has an indoor outdoor run so she can potty through the night. She would come home with bladder infections from the previous place, because she had to hold her urine from 5pm until 8 am. Just too long. All around I love Rover Resort! Oh.... and it's nice having grooming options. My dogs coat felt so nice and clean, and thinned out her winter undercoat. Yay!!!

Our dogs love this place and they are always very relaxed and in good disposition when they come home from a stay at Rover Resort. We have been taking our pets to Rover Resort since 2016 and have always been happy!

I highly recommend Rover Resort for doggy daycare. They make the whole process easy - from booking through their Yourgi app, to dropping off and picking up. My dog, Cali, is a rescue and tends to be shy around new folks. The staff here have been so patient with him and let him open up on his own terms. I never worry about his time at daycare and know that he will be returned to me happy and tuckered out from a fun day playing with other doggy friends.

Our dog got super homesick while at the resort (her first time ever being boarded), and the communication, care, and concern from the staff was just amazing! You could tell they truly cared about her and did all they could to put our minds at ease until we could make it home. Even though it was a less than ideal situation, we were super impressed with Rover Resort and plan to use them again in the future. It was nice knowing that she was being cared for so well when she wasn't feeling great. Thank you!

My post is horribly overdue, so apologies in advance.We keep our dog Millie here when we go out of town. We have had nothing but top notch service and great experiences. We recently became aware of the new training program that RR was starting under Megan's leadership.We interviewed Megan and were very impressed with her knowledge and her desire to achieve what WE wanted and not to just provide an obedience "package" that you can find at many places. I believe we may have been RR's 1st training guests so we were taking a bit of a chance.It worked out amazingly. Megan sent us a progress report during Millie's stay which was helpful for us. Megan also contacted us while we were away to get permission to try different training tactics than we had initially discussed as our hard headed dog wasn't doing as well as Megan thought she could. Our dog DEFINITELY made huge strides under Megan's care and love!All of that to say, we will be using Megan and RR's training program again if need be. Don't hesitate to set up an appointment and judge for yourself - I don't think you will be disappointed!

Really disappointed in how Rover's has gone down in their service and overall responsivness to customers. Historically Rover Resort was a premium facility, one in which we had boarded are dogs for the last 10 years. Now it is almost in possible to get day care for them and I am being told constantly that they are full even on non holiday weeks. It use to be the best treat for the dogs but now it's just a guess and hopefully a call back within the next two days.

THE SINGLE BEST ANIMAL RETREAT and boarding center I've ever used. Feels like a family. FABULOUS staff and awesome grooming services. These people GET IT! Max goes for daycare a couple times a week, grooming every Friday, and he stays long term while we travel​. It feels like we are dropping HIM off for HIS vacation!

I've taken my Belgian shepherds to Rover Resort for 5+ years. Cathy's team of caregivers are amazing! My dogs never are panicked when they arrive for a stay and are always cheerful when they are picked up. To me, the wellbeing of my dogs is what is important....they are happy with Rover Resort and so am I! Highly recommend!

Really disappointed in how Rover's has gone down in their service and cleanliness. Twice in the last year our dog has returned after a visit with an illiness indicating sanitation is not where it should be. The most recent stay our dog was returned to us without being bathed and smelled horribly. Historically Rover Resort was a premium facility that charged a premium price. We used to playfully be "excited" to tell our dog she was going to Rover's resort. We now regretfully tell her she has to go Rover's kennel. We feel guily sending her there; and the price has gone up noticably more than the rate of inflation.

I have been boarding my dog at Rover Resorts for over 5 years and for the most part it has been a good experience. However, since the new ownership it's gone downhill. Today (November 15, 2022) when I picked up my fur baby, not only wash she not bathed and brushed like I had requested, but her private area was horrible!!!! It's not the same "family owned" business that it once was. I will never board her there again.

We have been customers of Rover Resort since the beginning. They’ve provided excellent care to our fur babies year after year. They are extremely reliable. They are very caring. Our two large breed dogs love to go to daycare. They provide excellent boarding services. They have a great selection of dog food and treats.I highly recommend them.

When Kathy first opened Rover Resort it was top notch and simply put the best place to board your dog period. Kathy took impeccable care of that place. Lets forward to when she sold it to a corporation and yes a corporation. You know what that means. Downhill progressively which is exactly what happened any time a corporation takes over from an individual. Case in point we boarded our 2 older dogs in the summer last year. Their kennel a/c broke and by the time we got them back our German Shepherd was suffering from heat related issues. No one their cared or tried to move him. He ended up ok but Kathy never would of allowed that to happen. All in all the care, service and quality of experience has gone way down and we will NEVER bring our dogs to that place again. What a shame it used to be so perfect there.

Rover Resort has been a wonderful experience for our dog. She is eager to go and play with her friends as she demonstrates excitement seeing the Rover building as we approach. The staff at Rover gets to know each pet and their personalities and they actively engage with their resort guests. I highly recommend Rover for daycare and for boarding. The staff is patient and kind and will address any of your concerns.

Rover Resort is truly outstanding. It was initially recommended to us by a pet sitter when she was booked.We have used Rover for daycare and for boarding. Friedrich loves it. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, gracious and kind. The facilities are very clean and safe. The pets play with other pets their size and compatible temperament. Friedrich has his pals there.We think so highly of Rover that we drive the 25 to 30 minute each way to take him. His tail and body wagging shows us that he loves it there.

I have only good things to say about everyone at Rover! They always take such good care of our pups. I love that they have access to the closed in patio, and can go see the other dogs! Our babies always come home in a great mood, they don't get stressed out and stop eating when there. We love ROVER RESORT!!

Absolutely the BEST pet boarding / resort my wife and I have ever been to. We are extremely careful about boarding our Boxer, because she isn't spayed and needs special attention and care around other people and dogs. Stephanie, Andrea and all of the team that work there did a fantastic job with her. After a day there (she was there 3 days) our dog even became playful with other dogs, running alongside the fence with them. That is a first for us, and is a perfect testimony to the quality care facility Rover Resort is. Everyone was terrific to work with and they always took the extra step in even the smallest details. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We will be back - great job to everyone there!

My dogs stayed at Rover for the first time a few weekends ago. We had heard wonderful things about the level of care at Rover and how well the staff communicated. Both have boarded at other facilities before so nothing new for them. One does have some separation anxiety from us. After 1 night of their 3 night stay, I received a message that one of my dogs broke a nail and requesting that I come get him. I was VERY upset that instead of easing my mind that he was okay, the team jumped right to wanting me to come get my dog. It felt like he was just an inconvenience and they didn’t want to deal with him. Since I was obviously out of town, I had a friend take some meds to him hoping that would help. Never heard another update again until I picked them up. When I picked my dogs up I specifically asked if they got their baths, was told yes, but when I got them home it was very obvious they had not been bathed. They left gross foot prints all over my car (never happened before) and both were greasy and smelled worse than they did when they got there. Needless to say I had to rebathe them when we got home. Not a fan of being made to feel like my pets were an inconvenience so we will not be returning customers.

Rover Resort is the BEST daycare and boarding! My french bulldog, Penelope, is always so excited to go to Rover, whether for a day or a week. The staff all know her so well and make sure she is taken care of. As a dog mom, I have been so pleased with every experience we have had at Rover.
