We just completed our 6 week beginner training course with Jacob. This was the best thing I could have done for my sweet girl and our family. Prior to training she was jumping all over everyone, stealing things off our counters, pulling my arm off while she is on a leash, and had very little socialization. At the end of our 6 week class she is a very much improved 10 month old puppy. I have had a lot of people compliment me on her behavior and how calm she is for her age and breed. Jacob has a true passion and love for these dogs and knows what he is doing. If you sign up for his class, follow his teachings and work with your dog at home (its easy to work in small increments of training at home) you will definitely start seeing an improvement in your dogs behavior as well. We are looking for to intermediate training with Jacob.

The only thing that makes it hard to give 5 stars is that they are so good they are booked all the time in Grooming. My labradoodle comes back from her bath and groom always looking exactly how I ask. KIRSTEN, COCO, AND SARA ARE THE BEST!!!!! I highly recommend. If you have to spend a little on the extras it is worth it.

Visiting from canada, I guess people are just nicer there🇨🇦. Here's what happened, I brought my dog in to get groomed and when I arrived to pick her up I was left standing there like a fool. I locked eyes with a short tanned complexion female with dark curly hair with blonde pieces at the front of her hair. Nothing was said to me at all. No "hello or how can I help you". I just stood there waiting and waiting. Finally another lady from the back came with a dog she was grooming and ask me if I had been helped yet. I responded "no." She apologized profusely and looked at the other female and then look back at me and said I thought you had already been helped. Again I said no. Customer service is key to me. It doesn't cost any money to greet someone and say hello or I'll be with you in a moment. I don't think I'll be coming back to this location again during my visit. I have been going to PetSmart ever since I got my dog in 2016, however that has been in Canada. I have never received this level of poor customer service.

Terrible customer service. So they have arbitrary standards for vaccine records. Okay...well, despite having this on their records, they neglected to tell me that my cat was "out of date" until I drove for half an hour and was there at the front counter. This is the problem with places run by big corporations. Customers are an afterthought, as is the simple phone call they could have given me well in advance that they wouldn't permit my cat to get serviced until I met their standards. Screw these people. I'm going somewhere else, even if I have to pay more.

PetSmart is always bustling, but they have everything we need in stock. The staff is friendly and helpful, making shopping a breeze despite the crowd. Great experience overall!

Went in for crickets tonight and the lady that helped me was so rude. Yes I could see you rolling your eyes behind your mask. I pressed the help button because usually I don’t get help for a very long time. You didn’t seem to like that. Sorry that I didn’t notice the sign stating small crickets weren’t for sale when they are on the sales floor! Usually the sign says if you are out not that you aren’t selling them to the public. It’s really not that hard to be nice!

Came in to look for a portable, foldable water bowl for my dog. There was only ONE in the entire store but the WRONG kind. The ONLY ONE there was a folding water bowl that attached to a kennel. I was very disappointed, as this item is basic. Ironically, I found one at the $1 store of all places. Guess I will shop there FIRST before this store for my basic pet needs.

One of the groomers at this salon cut my dogs nails so far back they were bleeding. The incident was not mentioned and left for me to find out on my own! It took 3 days and me escalating the report twice before anyone even called me back to offer an apology and an excuse that they did have to use clotting agents on him, but “forgot to tell me about it”. Wish I could review the grooming footage. Attaching photos, because this is not a minor incident, and I would have taken him somewhere else if I knew this was a possibility. He’s a German Shepherd, for reference. I would avoid this salon or give your pup a look over once you receive them back.

Petsmart was a good experience. The staff, friendly and helpful, answered all our questions about buying fish and fish foods. We left satisfied and enjoyed our visit.

Jacob E..... He is the dog trainer, last night he took time to talk w me about my spoiled precious angel sent from from the heavens. He was so friendly, wasn't in a rush to get done talking w me and I greatly appreciate him. He also had the cutest tiny lil dog w me. We donated $150 worth of 44 lb bags Pedigree adult dog food & couple of large Meatbone dog biscuits for Collin County Animal Shelter winter holiday donation in memorial of mix charpe' & pitbull family member Handsome. From USA ARMY Veteran's surviving spouse, son USA Coastguard Veteran & daughter USA Navy Veteran. We got to help each other when we can. It's the American way. Red, white & blue for us & you.

I usually enjoy my trips to Petco, which happen multiple times a week for work. Unfortunately, I continually have to check the price in store with the price on their website. Then I have to wait while the cashier price matches THEIR WEBSITE. What an utter waste of time, and poor business practice. I understand that changing the price tags in store doesn’t happen instantaneously, but the price at the register should always be correct.

We got our bearded dragon here a year ago. Not only were they incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about our dragon, but even a year later they still ask how she is if we come in for crickets without her. I love the staff! They are so friendly and kind to our pets <3 Norbert loves it here too!

We needed an XL dog crate in a hurry after our German Shepherd had to have knee surgery, and they had one in store that I could pick up. It really saved us and we can't thank you enough!!!

I placed a pick up order at this store. They sent me an order ready for pickup email. I drove 20 minutes there. They told me the order is cancelled. But I have never received any type of notification about the cancellation. Now I have to drive 20 minutes back with nothing done.

We went in to pick up cat food and wound up coming home with a rescue kitten that I went over to his cage and he wouldn't let me go. I started crying because he looked like a cat that passed due to feline leukemia. My husband said let's go but the kitten put his paws through the cage and mowed. So about an hour later we left with cat and kitten food and a new litterbox. He is a beautiful kitten and our neighbor who is a retired vet said he might be Bengal. She said during his one year booster to get his blood type checked for type B. So we paid the 140$ adoption fee for a $10000 cat. But he is so sweet and playful and fits right in with the other cats in our house. Now we have 3 furry children along with 3 teenagers. He will have enough love for years to come

I went to buy $150 of Adult Pedigree dog food 44lb bagsĂ—4+2 large BOX meatbones dog biscuits. My mother suggested donating to Collin County Animal shelter in memorial for Handsome a mixed charpe' & pitbull family pet till old age around 17 human years around March/April 2017 after My Dad passed away. I saw & liked a certain pup at dog pound & I'm going to adopt the one I like because it wants to come with me & have access to roughly 5 acres of low grass to play on. I just have to clear it with mom first because she can't afford the Veterinarian bills on a widow's limited income. I will be responsible for the animal for sure. I feed it, change fresh water & let it out to use the bathroom & play ball. It will have a good life because it will be my friend happy to see me again everyday out here in the country. Yes Si'iirrr!!

Full disclosure: I've shopped here numerous times and have many good experiences with the store employees. This one event may have been an anomaly, but it was enough to change my opinion going forward. I've copied my comments below from the Petsmart questionnaire that I was asked to fill out regarding my recent pickup-in-store, online purchase.When I arrived at the store, I noticed that there was a local sale on the products that I purchased online (buy 1, get 1 50% off). When I asked if my online purchase qualified, the manager was called over and told me that I was incorrect and the sale was buy 2, get 1 50% off. She then walked away. I walked back to the shelf, by myself, took a picture of the tag. There was a very long line when I returned to the register. When I was able to get to the register, a different employee was there who wasn't familiar with my situation. After explaining things, he was able to provide me a credit to my card in the appropriate amount.The "convenience" of purchasing these chemicals online and picking up in the store didn't exist for me. In fact, it was significantly more cumbersome. I suppose I can understand a manager being uncertain of sale details, but simply stating I was wrong and walking away is unacceptable customer service in my mind. I was not angry or agitated and simply offered that maybe I was mistaken but I'd like to verify the details. I would much rather somebody involved in the discussion verifying the details of the sale with me and then processing my transaction after confirmation. Instead I spent 40 minutes in the store to save $10 on what should have been a simple stop and grab visit.Ideally website purchases would account for brick and mortar sales, but that may be asking too much. I don't believe that it's asking too much for staff to be attentive to customer needs. I have never written something like this before. I hope that this provides some value for you. I live in Van Alstyne, TX which is almost exactly between McKinney and Sherman. I can tell you that I will be taking my business to Sherman rather than McKinney based on this experience. If I have similar issues at Petsmart in Sherman then I fully intend to go across the street to Petco.

PetSmart maybe you should hire people with people skills. It is a way better experience if when an employee who is talking to you at least acts like the give a #%^* that you are standing in front of them buying something from your store. This is the second time this has happen so 2 strikes your out. I’ll try petco next and if that doesn’t work I’lll use a local feed store and pay the higher price.

This store is great but the people who foster the cats are not the nicest. I had a cat named LuLu that came to us from the street. We fell in love so she stayed with us, but naturally she still wanted to go outside. Well recently she went outside, and mind you we've had her for 2 years, and some dogs or people killed our poor cat. Since the passing of LuLu the house has been painfully silent. We really wanted to bring the house back to life and adopt some cats from PetSmart. We specifically wanted to do this because we didn't want an outside cat. We wanted a cat that only knew how to be inside, we didn't want to risk another loss. So we found two little babies that we fell in love with and called their foster mom. Since I was honest and told her what happened to LuLu she denied my request to adopt the cats. She told me that I would be better off going to the shelter because I am a liability to the cats. She didn't even let me tell her that we would only keep the cats inside. And mind you I am very emotional about the passing of my cat and her remarks only made it worse. I would not recommend calling this woman unless you are the perfect person who is over 25 and who has owned only inside cats. Ugh terrible experience.

Robyn is an excellent trainer. We have an extremely challenging breed, a Shiba Inu, and Robyn was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. She truly cared about our dog's well being and we've already recommended her to others. We are looking forward to the next set of classes with Robyn!
