Typically this store has reasonable things. Maybe slightly more expensive, but they're very helpful. I don't spend a ton in there but probably $700-800/month between feeders, feed, etc. The last 3 times I've been they've been rude or had issues. Today they expected me to wait 90 minutes so they could get the feed I wanted. They had already poured it but broke the scale while doing so. They did it in such a way they couldn't give me the feed. Manager was unwilling to give me a discount or bags of feed or otherwise despite it wasting several hours of my time. I was told I could pay full price like everyone else. Last time "computers were down," and I had to wait an hr to pay. All I asked was that they be respectful of the fact that I work 110 hrs per week and they're wasting what little time I get off. Manager was condescending and rude in her demeanor- very poor customer service. And when I pointed that out, she said she didn't care. This tells me all I need to know about their establishment.I had originally rate this as 1 star, but the owner reached out and apologized and is working on making it right. I will update this once everything has been settled. So far, everything looks much improved.

It's so nice and convenient to be able to what your animals need so close by. But that's not all!! Cute T shirts, western wear, and jewelry, too! Plus-- the yard art, outdoor chairs and fire pits--- not to mention a decorative windmill or two. And my kitty got a nice new carrier---for wayyyy less than the big chain pet store in town.

Just bought a windmill from here for a birthday gift. The warehouse guys loaded it and failed to secure it. It blew out of the truck as soon as we started down the road. They’re unwilling to exchange it for a better one. Owner was blatantly rude about it. Won’t be here again.

Friendly staff, and great selection. We shop here for clothes for my kids and I've also ordered jeans for myself here without any issues. They also have really good sales every now and then, so be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page.

Great selection of apparel. Sadly no one working says hello when you walk in. I tried on several pairs of pants and not one person asked if I needed help. I made eye contact with one girl several times. I love to support local business but the vibe in this store has always been cold. I tired to shop there for the last time.

Reliable stock and service. A bit pricey, but knowing that what I need for my livestock will be there and that the coastal hay will usually be good quality makes it a good tradeoff. Staff are friendly typically. Had a couple of bad experiences, but given that I have been shopping there for 6 or more years, that's a pretty good track record, and lately, they've been very reliable.

This well-organized general store is clean and easy to navigate. I spied everything from baby chicks, to popcorn, to garden spades, cowboy boots, candles, animal feed, flowers, fishing gear, hardware, etc!It looks like they're building an addition. Look at the photos I posted to get an idea of the variety.

Love the modern western clothes for teen girls, etc. My daughter likes to shop here. And all the practical basics of a feed store, usually grab a treat for my dog, too.

Good store and I like their stuff. Would of felt more comfortable if the employees were wearing masks. The sign at the front door stated they are required. I assumed that meant everyone.

Good price on chicken feed but rude customer service - I have been in this store three times (each visit several months apart from the next) and have never had a pleasant experience with the sales staff. Apparently, asking questions about the animal food they sell is offensive or off-putting.

It has a variety of beautiful bird baths and feeders. There is just about anything you need for your lawn or garden. Go on by and take some time to explore.

I've been a regular at McGregor General Store for about 5 years; the employees are always friendly and always more than willing to help you find what you need and make sure you get it home safely! It is a great place for farm supplies, home decor and my favorite...clothing!!
