store has an adequate selection for a small town hardware store some of the sales people can be helpful others are surly. definitely don't try to get help if you go there shortly before the store closes you'll get short shrift.

I love that, place , you can find everything, there's nothing they don't have that home depot has, plus most of the time when you go to home depot or law's, they can't really answer to your question, but ace have the knowledge of all they products, that makes you more comfortable in your choices.

I don't oft go to McGregor, but let me tell you, after my experience at Ace, I'll make sure to head that way first, for any of my needs. So many wonderful, kind, and helpful employees. Even the fellow customers made you feel at home and very welcomed. Such a pleasant experience.

I do a lot of shopping at Ace mostly in Lorena. I went to Ace in McGregor where it seems like almost everyone employed here are on crutches or one person just pushed a basket everywhere he was going. I ask this guy if he could mix some paint for me and he was very unhappy and snappy towards me. I was shocked that he was treating customers like this. He mixed my paint and said here it's done.... I like to support local businesses but I will NOT go back to McGregor Ace Hardware. I will go where I am greater and treated like a wanted customer. I will make the drive to Lorena where Mark and his crew know how to treat people....

Stopped there on the way home for the 1st time. It's nice has quit a bit in there for everyone. I'm a frequent visitor at the one at my home town. One of my favorite places to go to.

This is a typical small-town hardware store--long on attention and in-store knowledge. I can scarcely imagine a weekend when I will not be in the store, buying something to replace or upgrade a fixture that's already in the house or on the property. Soon they will enter my rewards number as soon as I enter.

You guys are extremely judgmental people. You were so worried my husband was gonna steal from you you did not even hear him asking about protective glasses for me. Then you want to ask him and my son in law if they brought the welding hoods with them. These are two of the best guys best welders . You guys don’t sell dirty hoods for welding these guys just got off work and brought a brand you don’t even sell and well used items in to get some shield parts for them. I’m upset we just moved here . We won’t be shopping here at all.

Great, small town but capable hardware store. This isn't a store where you have to look for someone to help you. I usually only barely get inside and 1, 2 or 3 employees will be asking, "Help you find something?" And each time they have the hardware store "thing" that I've stopped in for. Give them a try..

If they got it. Even if u ain't got a clue what it is. Even the guys in the front of the store can tell you exactly where it's at in the store. It's impressive check them out. Good people great service and they've always got it in stock and know where it is.

Great place to get just about anything. Plus, the gun shop is one of the best in Waco. Beats Paco by a long sight. May not have many guns. The people are great!

I was barely in the door and was approached by a male employee who asked if he could help me find anything. I told him the 3 items that I needed and he helped me with this and carried it to my car. Very nice!!

The Ace hardware in McGregor is one of the nicest Aces we have in the area. Little bigger than most with good selections, including Stihl products. Employees are exceptional. Know their stuff and keep us customers happy!

Every time I need something around the house, this place has it. If I'm not sure what I want, one of the employees knows. Skip those big box stores and shop here. You actually remember what "service" means.

We needed propane and carasene and they was having parking lot disasters they could of let us walk from next door to get what we needed I froze in my house for 2 days oh well all is fair don't blame them about good luck with that parking lot
