This place is amazing!!! The staff is very helpful. I’m a novice in saltwater aquariums, I was having a hard time with an outbreak of diatoms and Cyanobacteria. They helped me solve this. Every time I walk in they are asking about the tank and if there is anything I need.If you want a place that has great prices and super helpful staff then this is definitely the place for you to go!

Best place in the valley to get your freash and saltwater fish,corals too.they get new inventory of fish every week and have a wide selection of corals.friendly and knowledgeable staff willing to answer any your questions.this is my go to spot in the valley and I don't mind driving 50 minutes to get there.totally worth it.

If you’re just starting out in the hobby or been in it for years, Jose and his crew can guide you through to make sure you enjoy the experience for years to come. They are always willing to “talk tank” and give you advice. I highly recommend just walking through their shop and taking a look at all the coral, fish and, other aquatic life that they have. You won’t be disappointed.

Very clean. Tanks were well kept. Good prices. Young man was very informative. I was going to buy a $129 coral but he advised me to let him check my water parameters first. I think most places would have let me buy it regardless just to make the sale. Very honest.

Reef Valley is one of those bittersweet places. The store has a great variety of saltwater fish and corals as well as quite a few tanks for sale. Their prices are decent for the quality as well. The freshwater selection was in recovery due to a bacterial outbreak from my understanding, but their stock was better and better the ten or eleven times I came into the store.Now the bitter part of my review. Out of those ten or eleven visits, I was acknowledged maybe five times. On two occasions I had decent conversations. Sadly, about half the time I wasn't even greeted or asked for staff. I came in one day for a specific product, was not welcomed, and spent a good five minutes before I had to approach a staff member about it. In fact, I couldn't find a staff member to ask. The last three times I went, I was ignored for the most part so I haven't gone back. Probably won't unless I need something.This is a really nice store but unless the staff know you're going to be spending big dollars here, don't expect much in the way of customer service.

Excellent service here. Had to wait for a bit because there were other customers in front but when it was my turn they attended to me like I was the only customer there. Having said that they were not rude at all to other customers, they greeted them and invited them to look around and they would be waited on soon. These people make sure you are taking the right items for your needs. They know this because they ask questions and interact with you to see how better to serve you.

I love these people, they aren’t just there to sell you stuff. They take the time to answer all our questions every single time we have them and believe me we have many. We go there so much I think I see them more then my own family. It’s not a big chain store it’s a mom and pop type shop and we love it for that. They have a great selection of corals and fish always in stock for fresh and salt water. Their prices are always really good and they have specials and sales all the time. José and Daniel are my go to people they’re knowledgeable and experienced. All the staff there seem knowledgeable and kind we just haven’t had as much interaction with the rest of the staff.

I've been a long standing customer so I figure it is high time I leave a review. Jose, the owner, has earned my personal friendship through always helping my when the chips are down every single time my reef tank tries to crash. Earned my respect as a businessman by doing right by me everytime we cut a deal. He has gone out of his way to accommodate me and educated me. Daniel always has spot information when I ask and has great customer service. Yes, the shop is medium sized so the amount of money that goes into labor has to be appropriate for the income so that the door can stay open. That means you might not get the immediate help that most think they need. But be patient and give them the chance to wow you like they wowed me. I'll do my part to keep this little treasure open. The reefing community would appreciate if you did too. Everyone that has a serious reef tank needs this store for emergencies. Thanks again guys!

REEF VALLEY IS THE WORST PLACE TO GO TO BUY FISH FOR YOUR AQUARIUM. I HAVE BOUGHT A CREAM ANGEL TANG, BLUE AND GREEN CHROMIS,CREAM ANGEL TANG,BLUE HIPPO TANG AND NOT ONE HAS LIVED PAST 6 DAYS. THEY HAVE ALL DIED OF THE SAME THING SOMETHING ON THEIR SCALES. I STARTED GOING TO PETCO AND HAVE BOUGHT 8 FISH AND NOT ONE HAS DIED ON ME WITH THE SAME WATER. I HAVE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE.
