The owners, Bernie and Chris, are super nice people and very knowledgeable of the breeds they sell. Also, their prices are very reasonable for these breeds. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back for more lol. Do not hesitate, they are wonderful.

I can’t say enough good things about Bernie and Chris! I picked up my first Frenchie from them a few weeks ago and they made the experience amazing! They truly care about their dogs and are sure to educate you on the breed and your puppies needs before you go home with them. Bernie was great at communication throughout the entire process. Bernie and Chris are amazing people who breed and raise incredible dogs! My sons and I went to visit the “kennels”, which are more like dorm rooms, equipped with AC and TV’s. We spent over 4 hours learning and playing with the dogs and ended up matching best with Crystal. Bernie and Chris have been in constant contact to answer any questions and ensure as smooth of a transition as possible. Crystal has been a perfect fit and we couldn’t love her more. Not only did we add Crystal to our family, but Bernie and Chris are family now, too!

Working with Crooked Star was a pure delight from the first conversation even up to the present. We needed a whelper for our Frenchie and fast. We wanted to be sure that our baby was in good hands and after our initial conversation over the phone all of our worries were put to rest. They are very knowledgeable and down to earth, but most of all, they are lovers of dogs. You could feel their passion through the phone. After talking with Bernie, we only had one question, “when can we drop her off?” They even let us come do a walk through before we brought our baby to them. There place was like a doggy hotel. Chris treated our baby just like she was her own. It was like we’re sending our baby off to a luxurious doggy vacation. From here on out we will be going to Crooked Star Bulldogs!

Absolutely ecstatic! My partner and I have two French Bulldogs at home, one older, the other is younger and needed a playmate. We reached out today and not only was Bernie fast to respond, he was a true gentleman and welcomed us out on a holiday weekend without hesitation.We learned quickly that he and his wife Chris are wonderful people with a true love of their animals. Bernie and Chris are wonderful and I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with them for my French Bulldog.A few months ago, I decided I was ready to get a new dog and I figured I'd look into French bulldogs because I always thought they were adorable. I knew they were expensive but the French bulldog market was overwhelming to say the least.I saw many people getting scammed on Facebook, people advertising they had this gene, that gene, people telling me "If you can come today I'll take $500 off!". No one was being thorough or talking about the health of the puppies or the parents of the litter. I felt very rushed and I found myself wondering if I was in over my head.Bernie and Chris are professional, incredibly thorough and most importantly, they really care about these dogs. Upon meeting with them, I cancelled the rest of my meetings with other breeders because I had all the assurance I needed that through them, I would be getting a healthy and wonderful pup. They really take the time to sit down with you and talk through any worries, medical information, shot information; all the things a good breeder should do and more.My puppy has a great temperament, personality, and above all he's healthy. (The vet even said his breathing/snout looked great for a Frenchie!) I'm so incredibly happy I went here to find my new best friend!

Oh my 5-stars!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful experience we've had with Crooked Star from start to now. Brought our baby home Sunday and she is perfect. Our first OEB! The transition has been good and she is doing great! They really prepare them for house training and crate training so neither has been hard (so far). We had a girl a couple of years back that we lost and i had been looking for another old english bulldog for my husband. My experience with Crooked Star Breeders was very professional. The love and compassion the owners have for their pets were evident. The breeder was very upfront and direct with his expectations for the litter. They addressed any concerns with the litter selection process. The breeder kept me informed weekly regarding the status of the litter arrival date and the health of the puppies.My wife and I visited their kennel, which I consider to be a five-star. The breeder's kennel area was clean and organized. They also provide a climate control area for each dog.On the take-home day, the breeder provided a VERY detailed contract with all my pup's registration and health documentation. We are very pleased with our selection and feel confident in the breed. I would highly recommend using Crooked Star for your next pet. I'm 100% sure they will be for our next future pet.

Not only is the facility the nicest I have ever seen proving how much they care for their dogs but they have exceptional customer care. The facility has a huge indoor facility with several individual areas (more like stalls or rooms then cages meaning no gates) with carpet, bedding, toys, and tvs. Their outdoor areas have individual door runs with turf, they are covered to protect the dogs from the elements, they have fire hydrants and toys for each dog they even have little fountains in some. I mean it is for real top notch and the customer service matches. We bought a frenchie and wanted to meet on Christmas Eve so that it was a surprise for our kids. They were going out of town and made special arrangements to meet us a week in advance, then made sure they had someone one there on Christmas Eve at night so we could make Christmas morning very special. They checked in with us and reminded us of care and precautions with this breed. It really was an exceptional experience.

When our family decided to add a our first French bulldog to our family, I knew we wanted to use Crooked Star as our breeder- even though that would require a drive from Houston to the Dallas area. When I made contact with Bernie months before putting down a deposit on a puppy, he took the time to talk to me and answer my countless questions. He has since walked me through each step of the way, spending countless hours on the phone when more questions come to mind. I have been to their property to make my puppy pick and Chris is there with the puppies in their home, loving and caring for them and their mommy. They have a system in place and the puppies flourish! And now we are here- days away from bringing home our puppy… I feel confident that Bernie and Chris were the right choice for our frenchie breeder! They have made this such a positive experience, that I’m already thinking about when the timing would be right to see them again for another!
