I want to thank Randi and Dr Range so much for the care of my Charlie. He did pass away but the compassion they showed me and the way Randi stayed on the phone with me until the very end with my baby is an experience I will never forget. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!!!!

We live in McGregor and use this office more than our normal vet. It started off that way because our vet would be booked out without any openings but this office ALWAYS got our babies in quick, usually the same day. Recently I took our elderly baby Lucy in for some gunk in her eyes, but unfortunately she was in real bad shape. We knew her time was approaching because of her age, but it's our first time ever having to make this decision for one of our pets. The staff explained every single option avilable to us, but my husband and I decided instead of putting our baby through a bunch of test and added pain (she just wasn't having a good quality of life anymore) that it was time to let her go peacefully. The staff here.... they are the absolute sweetest and understanding. As I stated we have never had to make this decision, but these amazing people did an excellent job assuring us that since we are her parents we know her better than anyone and that we were not horrible parents for wanting her suffering to end. They took very good care of her and offered big hugs to us which was much appreciated. We have talked about it and we have made the choice to switch them to our full time vet office.No you can not go to the exam rooms, but we did get to sit with out baby while she fell asleep. We have also taken other dogs and litter of great dane puppies here for shots and exams...it has never once bothered me that I never spoke directly to the vet, because the staff is thorough at explaining things and I trust them to not mistreat our babies, so not going back with out babies doesn't bother me at all.A huge thank you to the staff and vet for being so amazing.

Lucy had her first visit at Mart Veterinary Clinic today. They were wonderful. The wait time was minimal. The ladies were so sweet to Lucy. She was nervous, but nothing like she usually is when she goes to visit the vet. They really tried to make her feel comfortable. I would recommend these folks to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and caring veterinary clinic.

Wonderful staff! Didn't deal first hand with Dr. Range, I'm sure he's fabulous. But the two ladies at the staff desk were so nice! We were only town visiting friends and one of my dogs started vomiting. They worked her in same day, and tried to cover all the basics since so many things could be causing it. They were upfront about how much everything would cost and they sent us on our way with enough anti-nausea/anti diarrhea meds to make sure that the rest of the trip would go smoothly, no matter what happened. And you can tell they just love animals. Thank you so much!

I can’t rate the service because I left before being seen. They have signs up and I was told I would not be able to go into exam room with my dog. When I told them I would like to go back with him, they said no because the rooms are too small. That may not be a problem for some, but if I’m spending money I would like to see what’s going on with my pet. There was no attempt to assure me of my pets care, just a simple have a nice day. The price they quoted seemed a little high as well. Just something to think about.

Everyone in this office is knowledgeable and caring. They love your babies as much as you do. They have treated several of my families pets and have kept a couple very sick puppies alive and comfortable for way longer than was expected. With a good quality of life. I will always be thankful for the day I found Dr. RANGE and his staff!!

You absolutely could not find a better veterinarian or STAFF. They follow up with you to make sure your pet is doing better. They definitely go the extra mile to provide great care and service. Also, very reasonably priced!

I've been a customer of Doc. Range for probably 13 years. During that time he's told me that 2 of my dogs needed to be put down (because they wouldn't last a week) and that if I did it that day it would just be the bill but if I came back later it would be $300. Both are still living, one of which was 11 years ago. Every time I go it's a minimum of of $300 but $500 most of the time. I had no idea that all these years I've been getting taken advantage of. They feel as if everything needs "lab work". I called to get my dogs ears cleaned and they told me it's going to be at least a couple hundred dollars. I called around to every vet I could possibly find (good and bad vet) and found that with a vet looking at it and also a ear cleaning no one was over $100.... I'm not going to say he doesn't know what he's doing but in my experience he's only right about half the time and charges you for stuff you don't need. Just MY experience. P.S. they CAN BE very rude

My favorite vet we have had. The staff is so kind and always makes time for my boys when time is of the essence. They remember us every time we come in as well. I'm so sad that we moved, I would have kept as my primary vet.

Cant say enough about this Clinic, my puppy was very sick and they worked me in, people were so nice, and caring, it was a scary moment for me, and they made me feel at ease, gave my puppy great care, this is the place to take your animals for awesome care and have confidence your animals are cared for. Thank you for being a blessing for me

Staff is great and friendly, veterinarian was grumpy. The bill was higher than it should have been. Probably won't be back. Was here with horses, but I've heard that you can't go into the exam rooms with your small animals, so I won't be bringing my small animals here.

Dr. Range has been my vet for 30 years. He is an awesome vet and has alot of diagnostic equipment in his office. I would never want to use another vet! Misty, the office manager and tech is the most wonderful, kindest person on the earth...

Through the rain, we made a visit to the Vet in Mart, as our Prada girl's stitches area was swollen w/fluid & wanted to have it checked out, to make sure was not infected.I have to say, that if Misty was not there, the clinic is below dead level in every manner. Dr Range's bedside manner & professionalism never once glimpsed the surface. My son & Misty lifted Prada up on the table, while Misty acted as "the vet" -- Range just standing there.Range did drain the area, while Misty took the lead as to what was happening & what would be needed to do going forward. Range never uttered one word w/exception of a remark towards the end that she had fleas & we'd be back if all we were going to do was bathe her.I came home & looked him up -- he graduated in 1970 from Marlin HS, so he is 4 years younger than me--about 66yo. He seems retired in spirit, maybe just no longer wishes to be a vet, but if he did not have Misty, he would have zero going on there.Clearly she is THE one in charge and does the work. My son pointed out how it could be that a vet could say not one word to a customer? And how that was working for him? Not sure. But, I want to know what the heck is going on w/my baby & am not happy when the vet is not the least engaging. Becomes a deal breaker in all manner. And the vet is normally the one that handles the communication, care of the animal, and the Vet Tech assists. Other way around here.He may be very knowledgeable, but as my son pointed out, not sure how you would know as he never spoke. Such a shame Misty does not have the credentials, as she is clearly very smart & knowledgeable, so seems he has trained her well. Good job Misty.Plus they were very expensive compared to most I have used in my 50+ years of having pets. FYI.We were new & Range was referred to us, but not so much now.

New to the Groesbeck area, after some searching I found this place and decided to give it a try. The ladies were very nice and informative, I DO NOT LIKE THAT YOU CANNOT GO INTO THE ROOM WITH YOUR PET. That is the only complaint I have. Looking for a new place, I will not be going back due to this.
