I went in 30 mins or so before closing and instead of being greeted with any kind attitude (like most places would treat last minute shoppers), I received the best and most helpful customer service I've had in quite awhile.The lady that helped me was knowledgeable which is exactly what I needed to help my cat boy Czernobog!I was able to buy the things needed on a budget to help with my cats UTI until I can get him to a vet.Thank you for the wonderful help and it really was great to shop somewhere that actually cares and has knowledge of such things as a cats uti!

Awesome service! I came here looking for a new pet for my daughter as a Christmas gift. When I walked in I was greeted immediately. The manager here is so very nice. She made the adoption process so fast and easy. I was uneasy at first but she was so reassuring. She gave me coupons for all the items needed for our new family member. I live in Shreveport but I visited this store location because I work in Marshall,TX. I am so glad I came here!

Great place to buy pet food and supplies. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.They also sell some pets: hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, lizards, snakes, and kittens. They usually have a couple kittens up for adoption every time we've visited.Their rewards program is nice if you buy the same bag of food over and over again (10th bag is free). However, if you switch up their food occasionally, it's hard to reach that reward.Their grooming service is very nice. Much better than anything you'll get in Jefferson. We paid $75 for a full haircut (cut, bath, nail trim, gland expression, etc.) for a medium sized Cavalier. The haircut was very well done. Nails were very well trimmed; other groomers we've been to barely trim them. You get to select a complimentary bandana after you pick them up too.

Horrible customer service. We were picking out fish, the lady left to ring up a person at the checkout. More people came to the checkout. She rang them up. Then more, and more and more….might as well spit in the customer’s face who was waiting long before those other people showed up.

A really friendly staff. Made sure that I was getting good quality stuff for my animals. A nice selection of dog and cat food. Many different items for reptiles. My friends dog was taken there to get groomed and didn't take long at all. Very helpful!

The local pet shop offers a variety of pet foods better than your neighborhood grocery store for the dog, cat, rabbit, bird, etc... A place to get the pooch groomed when needed or to adopt a pet and select a unique one to add to the family. Helpful, friendly staff who seem to really care. You can even find great deals if you look for the yellow tags!😉

I find going to that particular pet place is so nice. I love the staff, everyone is so friendly. And the animals therr are always healthy when I adopted. I personally love the store better than others but I think they need more tank animals(such as fish and snakes and more variety of lizards)

I was extremely pleased with the treatment of my pet and the grooming was very well done. I was pleased with the items I purchased in addition to the grooming. It's something I am going to have to be sparingly because it's just too expensive for my fixed income.But if you can afford it, there isn't anyplace better that I know of.

Very friendly and adopted the cutest kitten for my daughter for Christmas!The only thing I thought was not 5 star is there made us buy a $10 box to carry the kitten to the car. That was not necessary and don't think that was anything other than a way to make an extra buck.

I had enjoyed going to this store because it’s a quick stop to get the pet supplies I need without having to go into one of the bigger grocery stores or drive to a pet store in the town over. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. Recently I followed their store hours as listed on the google results, but these hours turned out to be inaccurate, and I ended up getting to the store a bit after closing. I don’t fault the store for google having the wrong hours listed, but I did get upset that the employees inside laughed and wouldn’t get out of their chairs when I showed up instead of just explaining they were closed. Like the store and selection of products, just wish customer service was a little better.

Really enjoy taking the kids here.they can look at the animals up for adoption,look through the glass at the dogs being groomed and see the lizards.they love to get crickets for our bearded dragon and they have the supplies we need to care for him.the staff is awesome and very friendly,have always helped meet our needs.its been great to have a dedicated pet store in town that you can get personal service instead of big box retailers.

I called and was able to get my baby in within two hours. Ms. Heather took excellent care of Gizzy. The other two groomers had pets on their tables. They were very paitent and showed genuine concern for their clients. I definitely recommend the talented groomers at Petsence.

Was quoted a wrong price for each of my dogs to be groomed, which was way more than I had budgeted for when I had to check out. When I asked about that, they didn't seem to care. Very upset & be ordering my supplies online from now on.

We love our local Petsense!They are always so helpful and knowledgeable. The prices may not always be as cheap as Walmart but they always have deals going on and quality products.
