Absolutely horrendous customer service from the supervisor on duty this evening. Called a little after 7:30 to ask about a sectional sofa to see if they still had it in stock. The lady that answered was extremely rude and unhelpful because we couldnât find the item number on their website, stating that she couldnât help us until we gave it to her. When we asked if she could just check by name, she got extremely huffy, went and checked, and told us the display was in stock. When we asked if they had any more in the back, since we were having to drive from Longview, she said she would check and put us on hold. After being on hold for a while, it seemed like we were transferred to another phone because the line started ringing and no one picked back up. A little rude but not a deal breaker, so I drove out to go and pay for the sectional so we could pick it up in the morning, and the same lady was working in the furniture area. When I walked up, she was being very rude and raising her voice at one of the associates that she was working with, but had another customer in front of her, so I waited in the line that was forming. She asked me what I needed, and when I mentioned that we had called and asked about a sectional about 30 minutes prior, she smarted off saying âYeah, then yâall hung up on me. We had them, but yâall hung upâ. I was taken aback for a second from the uncalled for rudeness, and responded saying âWell thatâs not really relevant to what I was about to ask you, but I wanted to see if I could pay for one of them and just have someone come and pick it up in the morning?â. Iâm a tone I can only describe as hateful and unhelpful, she told me that the furniture department closed at 7, and I apologized because I didnât know. She then explained to me, in the same tone of voice, that there was another customer ahead of me (as if I didnât see that already) and that she would be with me in a minute. Iâll admit, I was extremely upset because of her tone and snapped a little, calling her a jacka** as I was walking away, and then she told me that she would not be helping me, and that I can come back tomorrow. I was still extremely upset, but fine whatever. I said âOkayâ and began to walk out the door, once again swearing about her. The part that put me over the edge was after this, she responded with âright back at you!â. Astounded, I turned around and said âExcuse me?â And she said in a snarky tone of voice âIf youâre going to talk like that to me, right back at youâ. If she hadnât have been rude on the phone call, rude to her associates, and rude to me when I went up there and even apologized for coming in after that department closed, I would be more than willing to accept that my actions have consequences, and that I deserved what had happened; However, she was rude through every interaction leading up to this, which is completely unacceptable. Afterwards, I stormed out and called my fiancĂ©, so I could calm down and collect my thoughts and asked her to get the name of the lady I spoke to. She promptly called me back stating that it was the supervisor I spoke to, and that she outright refused to give a name. When my fiancĂ© began complaining, all the lady would say was âI will take that into considerationâ. I manage in customer service as well, so I completely understand the long hours she might have been working this week, but thatâs still no excuse for how my fiancĂ© and I were treated tonight.

Store was messy, dirty. Staff was friendly. Was looking to purchase a chair and they didn't have the one we wanted. We asked to purchase the floor model since they weren't sure when they have stock again and we were told they couldn't sell it because it had to be available for others to try it. Except...if that were the case then why was it the only one out on display while others were in boxes? Wasn't too impressed with the store as a whole.

Store is kind of run down and low on inventory most of the time. Compared to Big Lots I have been to before this one is not as good. They focus a lot on furniture now but it seems to be very cheaply made. Many of the displays are broken and the clearance is broken too. Made me decide against getting my furniture there even though the price was good. They do have good sales and cupons.

The Assistant Manager is the best at costumer service and professional work ethic! She should train all the other stores! I found medicine that was half the price at Krogers. Thank you to all the staff that made this a most enjoyable experience I have had in a long time!!!

Big Lots was very clean and the lay out was nice. I was comparing styles and prices for bedding. I came here 1st then to Walmart. Ended up coming back here because the styles were way better..plus I got a military discount. I also signed up for their rewards card..bonus all around!!đ

Always interesting things at a reasonable price. The new hires aren't near as friendly as those the older crew. Miss the big Smile and Hello y'all! That was standard greeting of Ms. Peaches, Stephanie and even Don.Still mostly good folks tho.

Our Missouri Big Lot closed and are truly missed. Stopped here today while visiting Jefferson, TX. Great deals on Christmas paper and bags. Store was neat and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We seemed to end up getting a lot of stuff here, primarily furniture. We've only run into one employee who seemed to have a bad attitude a couple of times, but everyone else has gone out of their way to help us. We have our eye on some outdoor furniture that we will likely pick up prior to summer. Great place to do business with!

Wish I had more money so I can go broke shopping here. They have random deals that are always great. Cheap gift ideas and flat out stuff you just need. They have cheaper prices than Walmart for the same product. Their furniture is nice for what you pay for it. They always have so much at more than a reasonable price.

Went in to purchase a recliner. The recliner I wanted had been sold (the last 2 in the back). So I inquired about purchasing the display. I was told I could not purchase the display without the manager there. But when I asked how the people who just purchased the display loveseat. The answer was that it was a loveseat. And that it was not a display. Even though me and my wife had just sat on it.

Lots of empty shelves. When we approached the register, to check out, cashier was on the phone. She continued with her conversation, as she rang us up, bagged our items and gave us change. Very unprofessional.Even though some of the shelves were empty, the items we needed were stocked.

Was disappointed with service. Went to buy some chair covers. They were clearly On sale but young sales woman refused to honor sales sign. Will not be going back. Instead will use the one in Longview.
