I just went for my first visit with one of my three Dachshunds & I couldn't be more pleased. The staff is friendly, kind & honest. The prices are actually reasonable without sacrificing quality of service. They acknowledge that their schedule is packed & you may have to wait a bit for your initial visit. But they have alternate options in place to accommodate their existing customers that are straightforward & effective. The vet was knowledgeable without being condescending & even offered to help with an administrative issue my previous vet created. I already booked my other two dogs & I will definitely use them as our established vet moving forward. If you're looking for a small town, genuine vet experience vs. corporate garbage, this is the place for you.

If you are looking for a vet that is going to be there at the end of your pets life, keep looking this is not the place.We have been going to Marion Animal Hospital for over 10 years with all of our pets through many surgeries and well visits. Our English Bulldog was coming to the end of his life and we called to speak with Bubba about our options a few weeks ago. He told us that they could put our dog down but that we could not be in the room with him, that we would have to let them come take him from our vehicle. I expressed that we were not okay with that, we did not want our dog to spend his last moments alone and afraid without us. Bubba recommended a mobile vet when the time comes. That time came yesterday and we called the mobile vet, they would not be able to come out for several days and our poor Bo was suffering. We called Marion animal hospital again to see what they could do. We were told that they would leave a message for Bubba to call us back. We waited all day, watching our Bo suffer. Finally we called again and were put on hold for a long time and then Shelby came on the phone, angry. She said that they were very busy and not finished with the appointments for the day. We expressed our grief and asked if Bubba could make a house call, (we would pay of course) and were told in no uncertain terms that he did not have time for that, that he is one man and he can't do it all. That we could go to the emergency vet. We are absolutely crushed, firstly because our baby is dying and had to suffer all day and secondly because someone we had trusted could not be bothered to help us. Would not try to accomodate us at all. Even if they would have given Bo the shot in the car, that would have been better. Or even called to say I am sorry you are losing your pet. We were treated like a nuisance, a bother, an inconvenience. We could not be more disappointed.

Dr. Bubba fixed our dogs ear infection in one visit and two days of healing.. Our previous vet made our dog suffer for TWO MONTHS and multiple visits just to squeeze as much money out of us as possible. We're so happy we found Dr. Bubba

We’ve been going to Dr.Kunde for a few years now, recently my French Bulldog started having issues I called and the staff was able to get her in immediately and luckily they did, she needed emergency surgery that evening which saved her life. We are so grateful to all of them for their prompt response and service to our fur babies. I’ve been to a few vets in the area and “Bubba” is definitely one of the great ones!

Dr Kunde is amazing and always always always will be upfront and honest with you! He won't sell you anything you dont need and will be honest about what will help your beloved pet! We have taken our dogs for years and recently a potbelly we found! Go see Dr. BUBBA you won't be disappointed!

My fur babies have been going here their whole lives, Bubba and his staff is always great and all animal loving people~! Recently my little man was attacked by another animal and they were great at working him in on the emergency and again for several laser procedures he had to have~! Thank you Marion Animal Hospital!!!

*update* I've been taking my pups here for about 8 years now, and I'm so THANKFUL I found them. Dr. Kunde treats my pups as if they were his own (so does the rest of the staff) and its clear they do this because they care, not to try and get money out of people (like the clinic I used to go to). Thank you guys for being there for me in my worst moment, and helping to keep my new pups healthy and safe. it means the world to me ❤

The folks at Marion Animal Hospital are great!Everyone stayed 3 HOURS after closing tonsave my dog who ate rat poison, she would have died otherwise. Can't recommend them enough!!!

First time visiting and I was extremely impressed with the amount of information the vet gave me about my dog's condition. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices were also very reasonable.

We needed to have our puppy, our boston terrier, to go to heaven. They were so wonderful. We sat with him until he fell asleep, quietly and 😍 loved. They took him in and we stood outside, because. Wonderful, exceptional service and love for our pup and us.

This is my second review as the first disappered.I've used Marion for most of my cat's life and as hard as it is to say I am very sad at my final moments with my cat.Marion has always been kind and caring.This time i brought in my cat to be put down.😭I was greeted by having to choose between putting my cat down in the car or giving him to a tech to take inside alone never to see him again. Just Heart breaking.I knew that vet visits were curb side; however this was putting the cat down and I was not told that I was not allowed to see him off prior to our visit.The tech that took my 300 payment was care free and showed very little compassion. The 2nd Tech did not carry my cat properly and did not listen to my caution about my cat's sore hind quarter from old age.I may be one person but I am still a paying customer who has treated this vet with respect and loyalty.I will likely not use Marion again for my cats as this hurts more than words.Hopefully this helps and maybe adds some sensitivity back into euthanizing your pet; they're part of family and shouldn't be treated like just another day or visit.

If you want to step back in time to a Vet's office that feels like an old school, country vet, this is the place for you. Nothing fancy, but pure compassionate care and personal service. They genuinely care about your pet or livestock, their comfort and well being. Do not go there expecting a fancy, expensive office with expensive furnishings.Their prices are below others and comparable to some of the mobile vets you meet up with in parking lots. You are treated like family, so sit tight and wait your turn. I am so grateful for them.

I absolutely love Marion animal hospital. Bubba and his staff are friendly, compassionate, understanding AND affordable. Bubba is very real with his clients and understands the balance between caring for our fur babies and the financial side. He never tries to make you feel guilty if there’s a service you can’t afford and always gives alternatives in such cases. I have taken 3 of my 4 dogs there so far and they will be my clinic for all of my pets going forward.

Fantastic staff. Had emergency and couldn't get in to regular vet and they treated my pet and they treat her like they knew her all her life. Needless to say, I have a new vet. Referred them to a friend and they loved them too. Highly recommend. With covid they created a way to still help animals and they are still using it so they can help take care of more animals than the old standard way, sitting & waiting in the waiting room. The pets get taken care of much faster than the old way & I like it because there is less stress on the animals too! Last time i checked they were still 1vet short. They still take your pets back while you wait or leave them there. I don't always like those types of appts because I can't converse with the vet.

The staff and doctors there are compassionate and very kind and thoughtful. I travel all of the way from New Braunfels because I have confidence that they will do the best they can for my fur babies and not charge me for unnecessary procedures. They are awesome 😁

Not concerned with helping my new 8 week old puppy. Had an ear infection and skin allergy. Visited Southern Winds and was taken care of in just a few hours. This place sucks!

I have been bringing our dog here since we adopted him over 5 years. We moved from the area, but still make the drive to this vet. We tried another one close to our new house and they just didn’t compare. Both vets are great, caring and honest.

I received many good reviews on this place before I made my appointment, yesterday I took my Sammy there and I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the time the Dr took with me. One day I hope to meet him in person, but I was impressed with with all of their staff.

Great vet and staff. First time taking my German Shepherd puppy in and she did well and had a good experience. She didn't even flinch when she got vaccinations. Follow up appointment in a month for another vaccination!
