Great Home Style Breakfast Burritos!! If you appreciate a NON COMMERCIAL family-style restaurant, this might be your place for a Mexican style burrito. The burritos are BIG-- with a homemade tortilla. I had an Egg, Potato and Cheese (Papas con Queso) burrito. It was pretty good. They also have Huevos con Chorizo, Beans with Egg, etc. The walls of the restaurant are covered with innumerable photos of Selena, famous visitors, common visitors, and a million signatures of happy customers that have come through this little hidden gem! You really can't go wrong here. This place is a Marfa Classic restaurant that is TIME TESTED!! :-)

Gem of a breakfast spot if you're craving breakfast burritos. Homemade tortillas with hearty filling options such as beans, potatoes, beef, etc. The salsas to go along with it are flavorful as well. The restaurant is a bit hidden making it easy to pass, but just look for a building with a lot of cars parked in front lol. The interior feels like I was in my abuelita's kitchen which felt like home. Don't forget to leave your autograph before heading out.Parking: Parking is located in front of the building.

Quick and easy place that serves only burritos that are one of the biggest I've ever seen. The tortillas used are about 16 inches in diameter.The ladies who work there speak mainly Spanish so be prepared.

CASH ONLYI had the egg & potato burrito, the potato’s are fries which I thought was fun, it was good. I really like the green sauce that came on the side — not spicy but good flavor. The tortillas have really good flavor in my opinion. My boyfriend had the Gordo burrito; he said it was good.

Holy cow! I did not expect this place to be this good. I was surprised that it wasn't busy at all at lunch on Friday. We walked right in, ordered and had our choice of seating. There are some tables inside but then a massive amount of outdoor seating in front, back or side.The asado (red chile pork) burrito was perfection. While it looked massive upon delivery, sandwiched in a styrofoam plate, it was somehow light and manageable...the perfect lunch. Don't miss this spot...

I cannot understand all the positive reviews of this place. The way ordering is set up is confusing for some people so there's people just standing all around, in the way. I ordered an egg and potato burrito and the potatoes seemed like they cooked up some ore ida french fries and left them under a heat lamp for 4 hours. The portions were supposed to be very large, they are not. They do not have salsa, all they have is weird hot sauce in bottles which is too hot for me so the burrito was extremely dry, the tortilla seemed old. The only positive thing about my experience was that they got my order out fast. Angels restaurant in Marfa is far superior.

I am sorry to say that the hype is unwarranted, which was surprising considering it is a bit of a hole in the wall (which are often the best places for Mexican food, at least where I live) and the high rating. Ordered the Gordo. Not sure how you can have chorizo, beans, cheese, eggs and potatoes in a burrito and it be completely bland. Added salsa, which gave it some spice, but was still bland. Added salt and the burrito became salt flavored. Like, I could taste the little bit of salt I put on the burrito, and that’s it. Maybe it was an off day? There is free coffee.Ordering was easy, the food came fast and gal in the kitchen was friendly. A lot of people mentioned a fly problem, but the place was fly free when I was there. The prices are fine, the food just wasn’t good. The inside has character, nothing fancy, very non-commercial. At least eating here supports the community, but I can’t recommend it as far as the food. =(

I love it!!!! Specially a place so famous they even have a picture of Anthony bourdain on the wall with the owner. The Burritos aka "tacos" are prices from $7 to $10 but those Burritos are big. I'm a big guy with a big appetite but one burrito and I was full. The hot sauce is GREAT. The tortilla is homemade and delicious. ***CASH ONLY **** Please don't forget.

If you're driving through or staying in Marfa, you definitely need to stop for a burrito here. It's a hole in the wall and I loved everything about it.My husband and I shared the El Gordo & Asado Burritos. Both of them were fantastic. I'm sure every burrito on the menu is great.It's cash only, so make sure you come prepared. They have a nice indoor and outdoor seating area.

Burrito stuffing was good but the tortillas are just a bit dry and crumbly. Lots of tasty options but like I mentioned prior they could use some work on their tortillas to make it great.

Can't really rate the food, because we never got our order. We waited for almost an hour (place was super busy, so we figured there'd be a wait) and after hearing/seeing other people that arrived way after we did receive their orders left and right, decided we weren't waiting any longer. When we checked in to see about our order, we were met with ambivalence and no apology or any acceptance of their mistake, so we got a refund and left. Sad, because the burritos looked delicious!+1 star because the place looked eclectic AF and they had pretty good free coffee.

Found this place on Part Unknown when Tony Bourdain visited. I had been in Marfa about two year prior but Marfa Burritos was closed due to Easter weekend. I finally got back and it’s worth the hype. A fantastic burrito. I got El Gordo: egg, chorizo, beans, cheese and potatoes. It really fills you up. CASH ONLY - be prepared. I need to come back and try the others.
