Shout out to Marfa Art Supply - a tiny, high end, supplier of paints, pigments, and other art making stuff. They have Golden, Daniel Smith, Flashe, Beam! (And others.) Beam is a really small, hand made watercolor company from Canada. Really interesting colors. (Needless to say, I bought some.) Good art stores are disappearing faster than bookstores. Gotta appreciate the ones we have left.

Marfa Art Supply is a little hard to find, down an alley, but is a wonderful gem of a store. The clerk was warm and friendly, open to answering questions and chatting while we shopped. I found some amazing locally made watercolor paints I can not wait to give as a gift to an artist friend.

Look around the corner. This is a great little art shop in funky artsy Marfa, Texas. Julie is charming and knowledgeable and had a great inventory of high quality products when I shopped there in September 2020. Why buy art when you can make art? Pick up some supplies and head into Big Bend. Take home a memory to frame. I’ll be back soon to this great shop.

Great place. Had a verity of media and supply on par with any store in a major city. They had sketch book that I couldn't get in Chicago, San Antonio, and Austin. Great service. The staff took covid precautions and made us feel very safe.

Stopped by this cute shop while passing through Marfa. The shop offered supplies for beginners and experienced artists alike. The owner was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. It was sweet of her to offer restaurant recommendations around the area.

This is a great new spot on Marfa! In spite of the small size, there is a good selection of quality products. They even have things for children and beginners! When we pass through Marfa again, this is definitely a stop on the list from now on.
