The Toasts tho! Gave us life the next morning after a long night chasing light orbs. Adorable little literal hole in the wall. Get a savory and a sweet toast and you won’t be disappointed. Water refill station and short, sweet and delicious drink selection as well.

Avocado toast and all of their roasts were delicious. We found this place by accident and were so glad we did. Also the location and inside are super unique and interesting.

The one woman band running this little spot when we were here over the weekend was such a sweetheart. I would have waited an hour for my coffee she was so nice and welcoming. The coffee was also great and I loved the little spot it’s in. Best place in marfa hands down. Skip the sentinel don’t collect 200 and go straight here.

Ordered a flat white and a horchata latte. Both were amazing. I was expecting good coffee based on my experience with the coffee at the Gage Hotel in Marathon, TX (from a roaster out of Marfa), but this sleek, upscale coffee shop in an unassuming historic lumberyard) delivered above and beyond my expectations. I would return again and again, if only I lived a little closer.

Marfa has several local coffee shops to choose from but I highly recommend checking out Do Your Thing! I had a flat white with oat milk which was excellent. They also have several speciality toasts that I will have to try on my next visit. The shop itself is also very cute and located in a very unique building & that has great seating inside and outside the shop. We will definitely be back on our next trip out to West Texas.

Great coffee at a very cool little spot in Marfa. They have a lot of different options including some very unique cold brewed choices as well. The staff is really nice even though the place is very busy and pretty quick as well. There's indoor and outdoor seating as well and good location in the town to walk around after.

This place has a lot of promise. It has the trendiest flavors -- minty matcha, mayan mocha to name a few. It sells toast with avocado or pineapple jelly among other spreads. They were out of quite a few things when we went. There was only one woman behind the counter and she was doing her best, but it took 45 minutes to get the correct order of a coffee and a toast. (We got an incorrect drink about 25 minutes in.) The line got very long, out the door, and the wait time was very long. The food was OK and the drink was OK. They served the coffees in overly large mugs and did not do latte art, which is something a lot of trendy cafes have. I did not go back but it has some solid things going for it so it wasn't bad it just wasn't great.

Very friendly staff and great tasting coffee! I ordered a flat white and it was one of the best I've had, high quality beans! We also ordered the cinnamon toasts, delicious and crunchy with lots of butter!

Staff is Really friendly! (I think she might be the owner?! ) It’s a one woman show and she does a great job! Coffee is really good and her niche is toasts ( which are so delicious!) worth the wait! Support them locally by buying their merchandise! Must try!

The Jerusalem Toast is so good! It has avocado, tahini, za'atar & sesame seeds on a thick slice of their homemade sourdough. I went on a quiet afternoon so there was no wait. There is plenty of space for outdoor eating & social distancing.

Every single toast they serve is out of this world, that bread 🤤Service is spectacular, drinks are delicious and venue is absolutely adorable. We ALWAYS stop here when we are in Marfa. Don’t miss out, order one of each toast if you can!

The best dang coffee I had in Marfa. The staff was super friendly too. I had the regular latte, which was smooth, had great flavor, and was a treat to savor. My partner had the americano, which also was delicious.

What an amazing little shop in Marfa! I was there for a 3 day trip and every morning was a coffee and toast from Do Your Thing. Everything was awesome, from the atmosphere to the food to the staff. I had the pleasure of interacting with Mack, G (I’m so sorry if I spelled your name wrong!), and Lauren. They were all incredibly kind and easy to talk to.The Solidarity toast is a must, even if you don’t like tahini, you can barely taste it. It’s so good, and the sourdough bread is phenomenal. The thick cut slices with any topping is a great little breakfast treat. I tried 3 different of their “signature” drinks; the honey spice, horchata, and Mexican mocha. The honey spice was by far my favorite, but I also like very sweet coffee. All in all, make sure Do Your Thing is on your list of places to visit in Marfa, you definitely won’t regret it!

I support the artisanal toast revolution! Great coffee (try the House Latte) too! Might want to do something about the gas line running across the middle of the floor, though. I counted three people trip over it over the course of the hour I was there.

Currently window service due to COVID, and it is fast and convenient. There is also outdoor seating. Ordered the hot Malayan Mocha and an iced Sarsaparilla Latte, while my friend got the Oaxacan Cold Brew and we'd recommend all of them. I enjoyed this coffee shop so much that I came back twice over my 2 days in Marfa. Would definitely make my way back the next time I'm in town. And Jules was a great barista!

Marfa has been leaving the lights on for 120 years, but Do Your Thing doesn't share that same hospitable philosophy. Nice quaint location, coffee didn't impress, hot chocolate was a dud, and staff never smiled to any guests over a 45 minute period. On a positive note, they were one of the only establishments open on a Sunday morning.

Relax here with rich, real coffee and wonderful toast fixings to discover Marfa and why it's special. We almost missed the obscure entrance. Follow the blue arrows in my posted pictures.

My wife and I really enjoyed spending an hour or so here for a morning sip & bite. Bare bones sort of shop reminded me of tea houses in Nepal. Their Mayan Mocha is actually distinguishable from regular mochas, which is rare in a world of SBUX conformists. The minty matcha is delightful, as are the baked goods. WiFi & outlets avail. Pricey, but what in Marfa is cheap?

dream of this toast and coffee, would consider driving 8 hours from Dallas to sit, eat, sip on an horchata latte and relax.

Hidden around the side of building. Small menu but excellent drink. Cool hangout spots inside, but the out side has an open dirt lot great for the dogs or groups!

Reaaaallly loved this place. We are self-proclaimed coffee snobs and this place exceeded expectations! The toasts were delicious, the pottery was cool and the atmosphere was lovely and rustic. Wish I lived in Marfa so this could be my regular coffee place.
