I had the best experience here 2 years ago and was SO looking forward to shopping there again last week for spring break. 2 years ago our son adored an embroidered shirt of cowboys that is just precious and beautiful. He still has it and wears it proudly! We made a few bigger ticket purchases back then and at that time, the sales associates went above and beyond to help and let him try on and explore the store. We chatted and had the best shopping experience.This time around my experience was the complete opposite. We got the rudest looks from the 2 female sales associates. They never spoke a word to us, just glared in annoyance at us. I did buy a bolo tie but never got a thank you or a "how are you?" Or "can I help you find anything or try anything on?" It was above and beyond cold, rude behavior and I will gladly support other stores there in the future. Such a bummer.

Communitie is charming- chic but not pretentious, beautiful inventory. Yes, it’s pricey but hey, you’re making your pilgrimage to Marfa so why not splurge on yourself? Owner Kate Calder and her team (and amazing pup) are terrific folks. Not only will they help you in the store but they are quick to share their infectious love of their home town.

Great place with good variety of hats with a good mix of a couple of other items that you might want to remember your trip with! I ended up with two hats: a straw hat too keep me cool and a entry level Stetson for going out and needing to look a little more put together. Thanks to the owner for such a good store!

Had the best experience yesterday shopping for hats. The shopkeeper was so attentive and friendly. I never felt pressured to buy anything. She also let me try on the more expensive hats just for fun! I finally decided on a mid tier Stetson and was pleasantly surprised by its reasonable price! I highly recommend stopping by to check it out. The puppy was also super cute!

Such a cute shop! The shop worker was so knowledgeable and kind. I was able to find the perfect hat! Even came back the next day with boyfriend and his parents and we all got hats! Some that you can only buy here in Marfa! So if your coming to town check out her shop! Also you can meet her sweet shop puppy!

A great find in Marfa! We found some gorgeous gemstones as souvenirs. The store owner was so kind and sweet. My husband loved their hats, and their apparel looks very nice too.

On April 11 leaving our hotel el paisano, we decided to check this store... We where waiting for a few minutes before opening... It was a pleasant experience and got a great summer stetson 30X hat... And a desert rose. Marfa is a friendly unique non stress town. Alberto and Kathy López

Really cool shop! I found two fantastic hats here and my husband found a great ring :-)
