I love Tha Dog and Tha Koffee! I don't know how Tha Dogs are still only $5 ($6 for a combo), but I won't complain. The hours are understandably limited right now, but I called ahead of time and asked about reheating. When we got there the owner grilled our dogs for slightly less time (Tha Dogs are already smoked, so still food-safe), suggested reheating instructions, and packed the dogs, buns and condiments separately. While nothing beats a fresh Tha Dog, reheating still worked great for an option to have these for dinner! Tha Koffee was great for the drive back home!

High quality and delicious hot dogs, and I’m not really a hot dog guy. The gentleman runnin’ the show, couldn’t have been nicer and more cordial. Especially a great stop after you’ve biked or ran the 45 trail nearby. ILL BE BACK!

Locally made bun from oldest bakery in Austin, along with locally butchered hot dog that is way better than any hot dog I've ever had.The home made relish were amazing as well.No chili dogs but for the quality and price, very nice!The coffee was superb too!

Great hotdog! I grew up in Chicago with Vienna Beef as the gold standard.Well, not to sound hyperbolic, but these have raised that standard! The actual dog itself is great quality and there are no shortage of toppings to choose from

Tha Dog is a delicious place to grab lunch! The beef frank is smoked in New Braunfels and the bun is from Naegelins (the oldest bakery in Texas). Their jalapeno dill relish was flavorful without the spice being too powerful. I ordered this with coffee and chips and it was reasonably priced. The owner, Jim, was very friendly and shared a piece of his hobby for free: hand carved, small, pocket cross made from deer antler. Meeting Jim and eating at Tha Dog was a great experience and definitely worth checking out!

Ate every crumb! I love stopping here for a quick and tasty hot dog! Price is fair and the gentleman working is friendly and his tips go to his golfing fees! Keep up the good job!

We love Tha Dog!! The hotdogs are made from local beef, no added nitrates or preservatives, and the buns are made from scratch by a local bakery. So so good!! The owner is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. One of our favorite Austin food trucks for sure!!

Holy cow. The dog itself is fantastic and just as meaty as a steak, not to mention the homemade jalapeno relish. Killer dog and way, way better than you think you're signing up for. Will stop again anytime I'm out here driving for work.

Best hot dog I have ever eaten. Thick and beefy so tender it will melt in your mouth, the bun is awesome too. I always want a second one after my first. Great price $6 bucks for a dog, chips, and drink. Best stop for a quick lunch in Buda/Manchacha.

High-quality beef hot dogs! They are served "upside down" with the fixings nestled into the bun, beneath the beef dog. Very tasty, and I will be back! $5 for Tha Dog by itself, and you can add chips and a drink for a bit extra.

The was, without a doubt, the best hot dog I have had in a long time. Meat is smoked by Granzin’s in New Braunfels until it is fat free but extra juicy good. Don’t expect cheese - it’s all about the meat. And the meat is worth it!

I was eager to try this place given the reviews. What I received was a dried out, cold hot dog placed inside a microwaved bun and topped with grocery store condiments. For $5. A total rip off.
