After trying to contact several groomers in the area on Friday and more on Saturday morning, Paw Boss in Malakoff answered the phone...they were booked. I am sorry I am really bad with names but the nice lady that answered the phone after telling her what was going on with my 81yr old dad and his little dog said they would take him in...after a little bit she called me with a concern about one of his toes, we knew it was hurting but I thought it was a sticker caught in one of the matted messes on the foot, but it was not, she said we needed to get him to a vet and have it checked out. The dog was a mess..they did the best they could with what they had to work with got him bathed and dried while I was trying to find a vet..she suggested one that had extended hours and we ultimately went there..so glad they were knowledgeable and caring enough to know what we should do and where we could get him help that same day (Saturday)...we got him all fixed up and and she even called a couple of days later to check on Cooper...and they offer pick up and delivery which is wonderful especially for senior citizens. Thank you Paw Boss of Malakoff.

I always hesitate when dropping my pups off at the groomers...hoping they get quality care and it is a good experience instead of a stressful one. Not only were my pups shiny and clean, they loved the staff too!! I can tell they were treated like family. So happy we have found a place to get our babies groomed, along with their great smelling USA products and cool accessories.

I have a 13 yr. old Jack Russell and this is the second time I've been there. The staff are very courteous,friendly, and Buddy didn't seem to mind going there. I'm in a W/C and they came out to my truck and helped me with getting him in and when he was all cleaned up and ready to go they brought him out to me. They are really good with pets and are always happy to see Buddy. I feel comfortable with leaving him in their care for the time it takes to get him all fixed up but they are so fast the first time they did everything he needed done while I waited. These people are fantastic!

Several "life interuptions" caused me to miss grooming time for my 2 schnauzers and with that andscratching from allergies they were badly matted. I just moved to the area and needed a good groomer. I tried this one first. I knew going in they were going to require stripping so as to start over. The goomer did strip them both and charged me $65 each. These are both "mini sch auzers" i have no problen paying $65 for a good grooming, but this was a quick strip. My babies took little time, and the groomer did not even trim aleady too long nails. Not reccomending this groomer

Was quoted approximately $60 over the phone. I dropped my dog off at 1pm. Came back at 4pm to pick him up and he was trimmed all the way down. Which was exactly what I told them not to do. I wanted him shaggy not short. She said he was to matted, so they had to cut him short. That was OK, I wasn’t that upset. He looked good for the type of cut they did, then she tells me that it would be a little more than they quoted. They charged me $100, that’s more than a “little more”. That’s almost twice as much. Then when I get home I realize that they have cut my dog behind his ear. They never said a word to me about his cut and it isn’t a little cut it is a big cut and has scabbed over in the last few days. Never will go back

Paw Boss is excellent! They always do a great job of grooming my Yorkies and I would recommend them to everyone! They do a wonderful job and my babies loved getting groomed. 😁

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Seeing the mistreating ways they had with the dogs. No one is certified in anything & half the employees there are on drugs. Please I repeat please don’t take ur babies to this establishment!I’ve seen with my own eyes employees abuse dogs!The establishment isn’t clean. Nothing ever got sanitized. I would check ur groom prices as well too! As soon as ur comfortable with them they will go up.. BEWARE!!!!
