Staff is nice but don't get upset with them only having 1 register open. They don't get paid enough be patient 💗The Corp needs to update the registers like wow the employees were struggling to see the screen it's like waist/stomach level. The workers are making the company the money atleast give them the best tools to do so

This manager is heartless and cruel to animals in need. He threatens to call the police for people just trying to help some stray cats near this area. Which has nothing to do with the store. I'd put 0 stars if I could because someone like that doesn't deserve his job or management position.

I refuse to shop at this store because of the manager, my wife simply in a normal tone of voice asked the manager about all the merchandise not being stocked and blocking the aisles and the manager give her a dirty look and mumbled "f-off" as she walked away. The cashier was super friendly and helpful, and seemed to be somewhat shocked but not surprised that the manager was acting this way, I can only imagine how she talks to her employees, if she is so willing to talk to the customers this way.

Not a wheelchair friendly store on Smith Street. Had a cashier not want to help me with a product as they had 30 more minutes to close and it would have taken a few minutes. I wound up leaving without the product I wanted. Absolutely not impressed with this store. Others I have been in are wheelchair friendly and cashiers are more courteous.

The last few times I have been at this location there is no employee to be found. I do hear music in the back that is to loud and lot of laughing. The shelves are a disaster and products scattered everywhere. Have switched to another location close to here. Sorry but sad to see this one going down the tubes.

This is probably the most crowded Dollar General that I have ever been in. There is always stuff stuck in the aisles. The aisles are narrow and difficult to navigate. If it were not for the friendly staff this place would be a no go. If you are claustrophobic I recommend that you go to another location.

This store is a mess. You can never get up and down the isle. They always have boxes stacked everywhere. Not just once or twice a week but everyday. Forget trying to reach washing detergent, you have to crawl over the top of boxes.

This is the cleanest ,well stocked ,well organized, Dollar General I have been in. The manager and his assistant work hard to have a well run neat store. They have employees who have been there for years who are always knowledgeable and friends dly.

Um i mean its a "ok" place well tbh the store has no room for your shopping basket so u cant go down halls with it but they did have plenty of stuff and surprisingly they had COLD Drinks in the refrigerator so im happy with that

Cluttered with boxes everywhere to the point I couldn't get on aisle and bare shelves . It not big store and not so busy they dont have time to restock the shelves. Second in 2 weeks I been there and its same.

Walked in at 8:55 to grab some emergency items and was walking up to check out at 9:00 on the dot and was told very rudly by the manager and clerk that they would not check me out and I had to leave I understand that it was closed but I was in the store before the closing time and wasn't told to leave then. This coupled with the fact that the place is very cluterd and dirty I probably won't go back

The store is a mess, they are missing a lot that other Dollar General have and they say they close at 11 now butore than twice they've been closed at 10:50. Not a big deal untill your baby needs formula or diapers.

Me and my girlfriend frequent this establishment because of it being in walking distance from our home. But for tge past few months EVERY TIME we go in to shop, this man that works there seems to follow us around the store telling us that we cant bring our backpacks in. Then tries tell us that we can leave them with him. Is this guy accusing us of stealing? Or just plainly harassing us?

I called the store to see if they have a item on stock, and the cashier Emmily was very rude to me by hanging up the phone, never going back to this store again. giving them 1 star because I have to click on one, other than that I wouldn't give them any.

Been stopping by to pick up last minute things before going to the renfair. This place is in a nice cozy hidden area that doesn't get too busy. great cashiers everytime

Dollar General in Old Magnolia ( Smith Road ) is TERRIBLE !!!!!! Can't get down ANY if the isles because of the big things loaded up with boxes of stuff to be put up. I will Never go back to that Location again.This is Everytime I go , doesn't matter what time. OR Day it is. . Looks like a junk yard inside.... 💯% THUMBS DOWN

It has item's that some of the other dollar store's don't, and they are always courteous to u and helpful when u inquire about a specific item!

Dollar General is a decent store, a little bit pricey but the welcoming greetings a recieve from the staff makes up for that.

I stood at the counter for 15 min and hollered for an employee, no answer I walked out.I love Dollar General but this one in down town magnolia has serious problems
