Don't hire millennials! They are little sissies. And they don't want to work!three stars only because the manager is good.So this little millennial was busy. stocking candy. And I walked in with a FedEx drop off. 30 lb box. I carried it with one hand. He was a dude and I'm pretty sure his pronouns were he and him, at least he looked like it.. Even though he didn't act like it. So he throws down the box that he had in his hand that he was stocking on the shelf, And I do mean throw. apparently I totally inconvenience him because I asked him to come and scan the FedEx package in.So then he starts worrying about the weight. and I know he saw me walk in there with that box in one hand. So he says we have a weight limit. Now being a 25-year employee with FedEx, I am fully aware of Dollar general Walgreens and FedEx weight limits. That box was not over any weight limit but he was really worried about it. frankly, he just had a bad attitude and didn't want to do the work. it was too much trouble . Apparently he was afraid he was going to have to pick it up. I said don't worry. I have been working with FedEx long enough to know what to expect Dollar general to accept. So then the manager comes up, picks it up and tells him I can pick that up with one hand it's fine.So the whole process took about 15 minutes when it really should have only taken five.Hire older people. They are more dependable, and not afraid of work.

This store has been renovated and it's awesome! I've been going to this store for the past 6 years. It's one of the best organized and clean stores in the chain. I've been to stores where there are carts of stock setting in the aisles usually blocking something you need. Not at this store.. at least when I've been there. Great work guys!!

I go to this store a lot to get things I forget at the grocery store. Well I had problems with my vehicle getting it to start and had my dad go check it out. Spoke to the manager Mrs. Cindy and told her I was leaving my vehicle there that way it wouldn’t get towed. She said it was fine and would leave a note on it so it wouldn’t get towed. I was keeping in touch with them at the store that. So glad they were all nice about it cause other place they would have got it towed or told you to move it that same day. For that I’m rating it a 5 star.

I don't always find what I am looking for. Time & time again I have gone to Dollar General hoping to find what I needed or wanted. Many times when I do find what I need, I spend so much time in line that it is hardly worth it. I think that there was one time that the store was UNCLUTTERED. Many times it is difficult to get down the aisles because of the boxes on the floor. Restock overnight when other retailers do so the customer can easily get down the aisles.

Love running in for a quick shopping trip to get essentials of cokes, chips, dog food & treats and whatever else you can get from big box stores. Much better prices on most of it also plus coupons online with a $5.00 off on $25. every Saturday.Plus store locations are getting so very convient.

My 14 year old daughter just got in my car crying because of this cashier that humiliated her! My daughter didn’t understand that her card wasn’t working correctly and the cashier was annoyed with her, saying “Hurry up! You’re holding up traffic behind you!!!!” And when my daughter said, “I’m just going to get my mom. She’s right outside” this horrible cashier yells, “Well when you come back in, you’re going all the way to back of the line!!!!” My daughter doesn’t cry easily, but she was beyond upset at this point. How hateful are you to humiliate a child like that? She is an older cashier woman, blonde, blue eyes, and looked miserable. This person should not be working with the public. I WILL be taking this as far up as I need to. This is totally unacceptable!!!!!!!!

The Dollar General located on Nichols Sawmill has updated a few things first and foremost the new supervisor underfloor is exceptional she has taken and fronted and everything is neat and there it is the nicest I've seen the store since I moved here nearly 11 years ago if you haven't been you should go they have so many new products and it's all face and it is so easy to see and it's on display properly if you haven't been go

Terrible staff. I work for a local business right down the road, our very loved goat that we love dearly was taken, we asked the staff to allow us to leave a missing flier in the window, I can understand if its company policy not to allow that but the employees literally laughed at us. Heaven forbid something you love goes missing. How dare you laugh at someones grief. Shame on you. The employees here will never shop there again.

Wow they renovated since my last visit to Magnolia Texas in March 2017. They are now more like a mini grocery store than a Dollar General. The location I am sure has a lot to do with this since they are in the middle of sleeping boroughs, (neighborhoods). Local people working there are very helpful. Good to see a local business do well.

If you need cola and candy bars this is a good place.They do have one item the food mart doesn't but other than that it's like a checp thrift store.The service is horrible and it seems like they hire zombies.I prefer the food mart across the street.

This store I have bought alcohol and cigarettes from these employees on numerous visits and I don't expect at 51 to show my I'd common sense should come in to play .I understand some store sold to someone under age but dam you lost a 30 sale times how many times look your not being smart to our losing money every day it's not being business smart if I owned the business somebody in management would be getting fired.

Typical dollar general. Looks dingy and dirty, nothing like the new stores as far as cleanliness goes. Not thats its dirty its just an old store, and extremely gives you what you would expect from a dollar store in general. The staff are great though, very nice and helpful.

Last time I went there their staff was getting better. But the restroom was atrocious. As a mama I want to be able to take my kids into a store and not have to worry if I have to run out to go to different restroom. This one stink and had dead bugs all over it.

This location is usually clean, well stocked & has friendly & attentive employees - opens additional registers to keep the lines to a minimum.The only thing that needs improvement is to keep more shopping carts available.

Loving the new manager she is doing a great job at getting this store in tip top shape.. This location is the most busiest store in the US. Associates are very friendly. One very happy customer... 💜😃

So I usually have no problems at this store, but today the Hispanic lady was rude for no reason. I was waiting in line, two people in front of me, one behind me, and as usual only one person at the registers. So the Hispanic lady comes up with a customer and helps her on register 2, cutting all of us in line, so I figure she was helping her with something like a wrong price or some other reason other than the usual. So I stick to the line going to register 1 because her register light is on, and register two where the Hispanic lady is, her light is not on. So the guy behind me goes to register two where she is, she then tell him that I was in front of him and needed to go first so I went to her and said I was sorry I wasn’t sure if she was open or not and thought she was helping that other customer for some special reason because she cut all of us in line. She then continues to tell me “well usually when there is a line you help who’s next.” I just kinda stoped and looked at her and said “well I understand that but usually there is only one person checking everyone out” and the customer you were helping wasn’t “next in line” she cut all of us in line that we’re waiting. And her register light was off while register ones light (where everyone else was waiting) was on. I’m not sure if she’s the manager or what but seemed like she was having a bad day, don’t take it out on us Because you don’t know how to run your registers. I was a cashier manager at academy and if my workers on my shift had their register lights off they’d get a talking to constantly.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!This trip this time was unbelievable. Can you hire any more rude condescending people? The Iles were blocked now I know you need to stock but stock early morning or late not during shopping hours or busy times. (Common sense) I tried to get help when the stickers stock items so far back on the top shelves you can't reach.Then I asked a question cause like normal you don't have things stocked that YOU advertise and had a lady bark at me from 3 Iles away. Just wow. You would think you could hire some respectful people. ???

Much bettet stock since this location was redesigned. The 3 stars come from a very slow checkout process. They are often busy, but have only one cashier working.

Close to the house for those items you dont want to go into town for. I would give for stars if they carried Chery Dr Pepper on a permanent basis. I do like the $5 coupons they give out for Saturday purchases.

It seems that this store employees exactly the kind of heartless cruel people that is wrong with the world today. Our pet goat went missing and we asked if we could put a sign up. Its completely understandable if company policy doesnt allow this. But these employees laughed at us when they saw what was missing and then stated with a snark that "we dont do that here" . I pray nothing you care about ever goes missing. I pray that you arent met with such cold heartedness.

Not my favorite DG to visit and I only go there when I'm pinched for time. It is not organized, looks unkempt, dark and dingy. Go to Rosehill, it is further away but a much better store.

It's Dollar General what do you expect? They have gotten better since they have an entire freezer section the length of the store from the ones that have been remodeled like the one close to our house.

We live in the country its one of the only places to get house hold and personal items you need without a local grocery/department store. Cleaning supplies, some craffting items, basic staples in the kitchen, snacks, socks, trash cans, seasonal and holiday items all at great low prices. I mean we all know you get what you pay for and these are not high quality products often. However if they break at these prices you can replace them. I get all my baby blankets here for my piglets and puppies. I get socks here to make sweaters for my baby goats, they are cheap enough I dont feel bad cutting holes in them.
