The manager and his staff were so helpful. Very knowledgeable and even helped with our car troubles. Best Ace Hardware I’ve ever been too. My family and I are grateful that this company still hires good people.

First I'd like to say the store is well kept & they have good customer service. But here is my complaint. If someone pays cash you'd expect to get cash back when an item is returned with a receipt. I returned an item within 6 days with a receipt that cost under 10.00 (5.40 to be exact) that I paid cash for & they could not give me cash back. I had to give them a credit card or debit card in order to get a refund. When I bought the item I asked the sales person that if this won't work, can it be returned unopened. She replied yes,, BUT she failed to mention that i had 1 day to return the item in order to get cash back. Nowhere on the website or on the receipt does it have NO CASH REFUNDS with a receipt. Nor is it posted anywhere in the store that you have a day to return something in order to get the cash back you paid with. What happens to individuals that do not have a credit card or debit card? And store credits should not be given if the items are returned within the Return Policy.

I was looking for a screw extractor Paced up and down for 15 minutes on isle 7, 8 didn't find it no employees came to me finally went to the front desk and asked for help the female employee said check on isle 7 and went back laughing and talking to the other female employee, I just walked out it didn't bother them.

They may not have a big selection but they always seem to have just what you need when you need it. The staff is super helpful, they are there not just to show you where something is but provide you with solutions to problems and how to do things. To the guy that said they made you feel uncomfortable, you must usually shop at a big box store where the staff usually ignores you. Here they are just trying to be helpful which you should appreciate.

So yesterday I bought something from this place with cash. I didnt need the items, and went to return them. The purchase amount was under $15. Well the new policy is that no matter how you pay, or how much you pay, you get your refund on a gift card.Ok, what if I don't plan on shopping at ace hardware for a while? I basically just threw my money away. Also, they are forcing me to shop at their store.Thank you for being so stingy with everything about your store.

Every "shopper" in the store besides me and my husband were obviously part of loss prevention. They were all over us the entire time we were in the store. It became so uncomfortable that we put our things back and left the store. I will never go back.

I give everybody second chance. That's the case Ace Hardware. They failed yet again. Employees made me feel very uncomfortable following me and my wife around like we are going to steal something. So that's why I gave them a 1 * which is too much. Taking my business up the street to Tractor Supply. Ace could learn something from Tractor Supply. Called respect and courtesy. Sorry Ace Hardware you lose my business end of story

Absolutely disappointed in customer service I received at this location along with another location. Went in for a return to location I did not buy merchandise from and was told I had to go to store I bought it from which is a town I do not live in, after making my way all the way back to the store I originally bought from I was told due to it being a week after the 30 day return policy they could not help me. Absolutely ridiculous and will not be shopping at Ace hardware ever again

Madisonville ACE Hardware was clean, well lighted, well stocked and ready for business on our first visit. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about the store merchandise and inventory and they are very willing to add items for special order or to add inventory of needed items sought by the community.
