I’m sorry to give this review but I drove all the way here just to be greeted by an uptight man that told me no he cannot add cash to my card without even letting me tell him I have a barcode and it’s for cash app . He was unwilling to help me or even give a second thought about it so I guess I’ll have to drag my sick baby around to canton. Please train your staff to be as great as the afternoon staff.

Bought a six pack only to realize that one of the cans was punctured when I got to my vehicle, walked back in with it and the mod said wow it got magically punctured when you left the store and before that a woman asked if they had copier paper and she rolled her eyes obviously in disgust. They should have some better customer service cause this store is falling apart, no employees act like they want to be there so instead of shopping here almost every day I'm taking my business to family dollar where they have excellent customer service and employees.

Friendly service, but always different employees. Just a tip: don't park on right side of the lot when it's raining.. went today and had to walk through about 4 inches of water.. I do prefer this location over the gun barrel location!!!!!

Went in for 1 thing passed several workers on my way to the item i needed as well as on the way back. I had to stand at the register and wait at least 4 minutes along with two other customers before any one got to the register. We received no sense of urgency or apology for waiting. Just an employee with no name tag or customer service skills what so ever. I usually try to avoid this store all together. Not the first time i have went in and had to wait on someone to realize anyone was even in the store.

I frequent the Dollar general in Payne Springs but I rather shop at this one in Mabank, the line is never long, the store is clean and everything is nicely stocked. It makes for a nice if n and out trip!

If you shop carefully you can find some excellent deals. I stopped in for the clover valley stevia and they happened to be out, the manager grabbed a box of Truvia and gave it to me for the same price as the clover valley. Our smaller town area stores and restaurants have some of the best staff around.

Don't shop here! I was there looking for stuff they didn't have everything I needed so I put it all back on the shelves and left. Then the cashier came up behind me and said I wasn't allowed to come back because I didn't buy anything and that I was technically stealing! She said she was calling the cops and so got in my truck and waited for the cops to arrive but they never did they did the same thing to another lady while I was sitting in the truck but the next time they stood behind her car and went to her drivers side door. So I say this to all the young moms and ladies beware they are bullies and dangerous for any parent to go there you never know what they'll do to next person!

Rude employees nasty cluttered store shelves are never fully stocked can't never find what I'm looking for very nasty floors always it's like they never mops or wax the floors but they have time to cop an attitude for no reason 🙄

It was well stocked. Clean store had lot's of specials going on alot of summer stuff swimming pools. squirt guns, floats, googles, bubbles and sidewalk chalk. The caisher was friendly and stocking as well as running the register.

They have a very wide selection of everything from groceries, clothes, cleaning, health and beauty, school supplies, home goods, and many other chpices.I like the convenience that saves me from going to the giant store down the road.

Its quick and easy for the run in and run out and its inexpensive. Not all $Generals but a few that ive been in seem to be rather messy and disorganized. Overall i give it the 4 star rating.

This particular Dollar General in Mabank is fairly rundown and not very clean. The employees were friendly though. I usually go to the stores in Eustace and Tool, because they are a bit cleaner and better organized.

Ask store employee where the toothpaste was . She looked right at me and egnored me. So a thought okay maybe she deaf. I went around her and found it at the end on the other side of her. Then all of a sudden she hears the cashier speaking to a woman on the other side of me and puts her 2 cents in. I'm like really .. your not deaf. Rude..

This is the closest store to my residence so I shop here often. The have a lot of items that I buy regularly and at a fair price. They beat most area store prices and have stores located in many local neighborhoods. 5 Stars

Helpful staff and you could almost walk down every isle with a shopping cart. Cleaner looking store than other ones I have been to.

The isles are too close together, you can't even turn around with a shopping cart..! Always a line at the register..! 3 or 4 registers, 1 open, always waiting..! :(
