We are so thankful to have Angela and staff from Something to Bark About here in Lytle. She does such a great job on my schnauzer. I get our little girl groomed once a month, and she is consistence with her cuts. I feel so comfortable dropping her off there. Our girl does not get nervous when I leave her which gives me a peaceful feeling she is in good hands. Also, our girl comes home so soft and super clean. Thank you Angela and staff!

This is the best grooming you will ever come across. Angela is a true professional and skilled artist! She truly cares about the service she delivers and making your pet look their best! I’ve tried other groomers and no one comes close. In particular she does the world’s best miniature schnauzer cut!!!!! No one else even knows what they’re doing compared to her!

This is the only place I use for my doggos. The staff is gentle, friendly and flexible. The price can not be beat for the full service shave and bath for my hairy pup. I was going on a road trip last minute and Ang was able to pencil me in on the fly . I was beyond appreciative as I didn't want to get pet hair in the hotels we were staying. My buddy Harvey looked sharp at the Kansas City Royals baseball game and I owe that Something to Bark About.

I recently rescued a fireball of a little yorkie mix dog. Vet says she's around 3 yrs. I don't think she's ever been properly groomed in her life. She has a deep loathing for scissors. Lol. But let me tell you...she is looking fabulous now! This groomer knew just how to work with my scared little problem child and sent her back to me with all her playful confidence on full display. I highly recommend this establishment! We will definitely be back when the time comes.

Best grooming experience from start to finish!! Making the appointment was quick and easy them. the location is easy to find and the staff was extremely welcoming. I was able to drop off Obi in the morning and told them they could take as long as they needed to. Obi is a very energetic dog with tons of love to go around so I understand he can be a handful. The staff was so caring and understanding. I picked obi up later in the day and he was extremely happy and comfortable. His cut came out so much better than any of the other places i’ve tried and obi was well taken care of. I truly recommend this place especially for first timers. These people truly care about your pets and will put your nerves at ease!

Super Happy with the service I received! Gave them a call on Monday and had me scheduled for Wednesday. Showed up a few mins early, went in and was immediately checked-in! It was my precious pups first time and OMG, they were super awesome! The haircut style was amazing, she smelled so amazingly clean and fresh and the bow I added in was the cutest touch. They called me a few hours later, showed up probably an hour after that. My puppy was extremely happy when I picked her up. I know she had a blast! Everything was perfect! Scheduling was great, definitely no problems! Totally coming back! Thank you!!!!

I just cannot say enough!Prompt, efficient, thorough , meticulous!We will be coming back!!! Fur sure!!!I wish I had taken a before and after picture so you could see what they were dealing with! Best groomers in the county!! Angela and her team are true professionals and animal lovers. I love the way they treat the dogs.....I've had experience in the past with a groomer who was in it for nothing but the money, impatient and rough with the dogs. I've spent enough time at Something to Bark About to be impressed and completely comfortable leaving my furkids in their capable and kind hands. Beautiful work! It was our first time here. I love the fact that she calls right away as soon as our pets were finished.Our previous groomer use to leave our poor baby in the kennel all day long without potty breaks food or water. Very welcoming and have a lot patience! My dog is a hand full.. that’s the nicest way to put it!😅😂All the employees have been very understanding and gentle with my dog. My dog is now warming up to the idea of the groomers. He isn’t as scared, but still hates the bath. I really do appreciate how much they are understanding and slow with my dog.

We have been looking for a great grooming place for our two dogs, a Yorkie and Labradoodle. Both dogs were in high need of a groom because our mobile groomer has been out of commission for a while and it had been a few months since their last grooming. My husband searched for dog groomers in Medina County since we live close by and found you all! What a gem of a place you are! The dogs look so well groomed and we are so happy with how beautifully detailed their features are. You take a lot of time with each one to make them look their best. My husband also called after their session was over to give compliments and get on a schedule to bring them back again in two months. Thank you for great service!

Angela has been very accommodating to our busy schedule and does a fantastic job grooming our Goldendoodle. Other groomers have had issues at times in the past with our grumpy old man dog and Angela has been great with him, which makes us at ease. She knows her way around a dog!! Dropped Sadie off for her appointment at 9:30 am . Called at 4:00 pm ,worried that they might have tried to call me and I didn’t get it. I got a voice message giving info on closing time. I Decided then to go pick up my dog. When I got there at 5:00 Sadie was still being groomed by a young lady. It’s now after 5:00 .Sadie has been here for over 7 hours. I went out side waiting for her to finish up.called in about 10 minutes later. Told the owner I had called and gotten her voice message with operating hours.Her response was “when it gets busy I don’t answer the phone “ . My dog is a rescue dog about 34 pounds, all other dogs I saw today where pure breeds,small toy breeds types. By this time I just want to get my dog home, at this point I am sure my dog is frightened and uncomfortable, any outside potty trips ? Paid by card, then she puts phone in front of me and asked if I want to leave a tip. I hit what I thought was decline but when I got home found it to be 25 percent tip.. Well that’s my bad . Will not be subjugating my dog to this treatment again. taking Sadie elsewhere from now on, not to mention grooming was just awful. We will be trimming long pieces that were missed off her tail and her face wasn’t done well at all . Not acceptable to keep my RESCUE MIXED breed dog, that’s right not a pure bred —in a cage all day with a 9:30 appointment and grooming still being done at 5:00 pm. A call with some explanation would have definitely been welcomed. Never heard a word. Was water offered to my dog while being caged all that time while other dogs were being brought in apparently without appointments ? Reason for them being so busy and reason Sadie wasn’t groomed at her appointment time of 9:30

If I could rate 6 stars I would! I just had my 2 great pyrenees deshed and bathed. They took the extra time to even clean Daisy’s ears which has a fungal infection. The dogs are so clean and happy.

Angela and her staff are amazing. I am very particular about who grooms my elderly poodle who is also blind and Angela has always made sure she was taken care of and very understanding and patient with her. I highly recommend Something to Bark About!

I frist started going to Something to Bark About Pet Grooming in Hondo. At the time I live in Hondo and Angela would come couple Wednesday a week. My very frist time I loved how she groomed my Schnauzers. I now live in San Antonio but my Schnauzers and I travel to Lytle because we love her and her team. They do a wonderful job. I recently used her kennel service and did not worry once about my girls. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my girls were in the best if hands. I would not take them to anyone else. We love the team at Something to Bark About Grooming❤

We had been using the same groomer for 12 years before we moved to Lytle. It is a blessing when the dogs are happy to walk through the front door of a groomer. Angela and her crew do an amazing job. We are super happy to have found a groomer that we can use for the next 12 years!
