I moved to lumberton n Oct of 2023 and needed to find my sweet hawy a vet and I'm so glad I found this one.they where awesome from day 1 .i.only got to go there once since we moved because my sweet girl went to heaven on 2 8 24.it devastating me. I called them the next morning so I can get her cremated and they help me so much.then the place she was taking to before I got her ashesBack did an amazing Job.Today I received a beautiful card from maim Street Veterinary with everyone signatures. Thought that was so kind.when I plan.on getting another dog they will definitely be my go .thank u God blesa

Will never go back took my dog a month ago for his back they gave medicine for it he was doing better. Then it started again but this time he was having trouble breathing. So I called them they said since he would have to see new doctor cause because his doctor was not in til Wednesday it would be a whole new visit. Not impressed with them due to the doctors don’t work as a team. Everything’s on file and I shouldn’t have to repeat service all over. X-rays sure but a whole new service. That’s just not right.

My first visit for a rabbit! They loved him and did a great job trimming his nails. Highly recommend for rabbit care. Rabbits require special care in many aspects. There is a new vet there that specializes in exotics.

I was very pleased. The Veterinarian and technician were both knowledgeable, explained things in detail and very kind to me and my dog. He had a sick tummy. 2 days later he was bit 3 times in the face by a water moccasin! They saved his life and we will be eternally grateful for their kindness. I worked as a practice manager at a veterinarian clinic in Galveston for 13 years. I know what good care and customer service is and these guys have it all. I highly recommend them. Thank you!

We took part of our furry army into to clinic for vaccines and yearly testing.Ashley was great and friendly, helping us gets weights.Phuong and Tara were SO patient with our fur babies.Dr. Hayley was the BEST!She was kind, patient and knowledgeable.She listened to our concerns and gave us great advice.She was understanding when our pets got a little spicy 🌶.We’re so thankful for this clinic and these people.

Absolutely a great hometown clinic. They currently have a concierge service during covid 19. You simply make an appointment, call upon arrival, and they come get your pets from vehicle while you stay safe and wait. Also, you can pick up any meds using the same service. Amazing, attentive, and knowledgeable Vet, Vet Techs, and administrators. Our new home vet!

This is absolutely the best vet. In East texas....if your not taking your pet to dr hunter....aka: dr spongebob....then your mama didn't raise your right...the nurses are awesome as well and treated my dogs like I do and not to mention saved my tiny chihuahua....these guys are amazing and they sell dog toys!!!! Thanks again guys...chance and Trixie send kisses!!!

This is by far the best vet around. Treated our dog roxy for 2 months after being run over by a UPS truck. Made multiple tail amputations for her and finally got her healed up. Very friendly and accommodating. We picked her up today and can't say enough good things about this vet or its employees. Thanks for giving our baby another chance at life!

I will drive from Kountze to bring my dogs here every time. My dogs. My mawmaws dogs. My sisters dogs. The staff is always so sweet and understanding and gentle. We had to put down one of our oldest babies and they did everything they could to make the process palatable and comfortable for both us and our pup. My other dogs will continue going to main st because the staff always seems to remember my dogs when I bring them in. it’s like they’re getting to see their own dogs, they always seem just as happy. Anytime I find a stray I bring it to them to search for a microchip and general vitals. Top quality care and they’ll always ask what your budget is! 10/10.

This vet office saved my geriatric cats life on numerous occasions and brought me comfort when he passed. Phuong (one of the vet techs) is an absolute Angel and her love for cats is wonderful and unsurpassed. All the vets are amazing, kind and informative and let you know exactly what’s going on and what options are. I know each time I brought either of my cats here I had nothing to worry about. I would recommend this clinic to ANYONE! Dr. Hunter is one of the most knowledgeable vets I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. I have an old cat with a pretty rare diagnosis and she knew right away how to get him back to feeling like his old self again. The staff and the techs are nothing short of sweet either and provide the best patient care to their animals!

I was very pleased with the staff and with the veterinary assigned to my previous Isabel. As all dog lovers know, it can be quite an adventure when trying to get a 77 lb. dog to the vet. My Isabel was the lady i raised her to be behaved like a lady after she talked a bit to all. Very profesional and patient with both of us. The absolute best part was this : if your appt. Is for 2 pm u & your pet will be in the examination room by 2pm. Efficient, professional , gentle, patient and very loving to my girl who is feeling 100%better than she did last week. Thank you to all at Main st. Veterinary clinic. I am extremely pleased and will continue to use your clinic as long as I am in need of the professional care that you offer my Isabel.

Dr. Hunter came highly recommended by 2 people. This place is incredibly efficient. You pull up, call, and they either answer or text you right back, then they come get your pet. I had my cat’s allergy testing panel done here. I don’t know how they stay so organized, but it’s excellent.

Dr. Hunter and the staff are the most caring and understanding. I have never had a bad experience. I love how they treat the fur babies. Dr. H thank you again for being so great with Cody. He loved going to visit and giving you a paw shake broke my heart that he couldn't do it this last and final visit. If you have never been I promise though won't be disappointed!

These are the best people they got me straight in after my neighbor shot my 7 month old baby girl she's 1/2 each German Shepard/ BullDog. They handled her like a pro and made me feel totally at ease considering I was loud and probably rude and bossy but they were just awesome I highly recommend to anyone.

Main Street Vet has taken wonderful care of our 9 dogs. They give individual attention and seem to genuinely care for each one. They make follow up calls to ensure your pet is still doing well. Our dogs do not dread going to the vet.We chose this vet before moving from MT to TX because Dr. Hunter actually spoke to me on the phone about possible risks of moving with my special needs dogs from the North to the South. Every other vet I called would only tell me they would have to see them.I truly appreciate their down to earth care and customer service.
