What's not to love about going to M&D? I've been here quite a few times and I always walk out with just what I need. Someone is always there to help, and these people know their products and exactly where they are located in the store. I walk in with an old plumbing connection trying to install a new water filter and someone stays with me until I have every piece that's needed and they have made sure that all the parts fit together. I also recently found out that they have great prices for local honey. Give them a try.

I go here very often because I have a small engine shop and I always just need a specific nut or bolt or something or another, and they always have more supplies available than other hardware stores like Lowe's or Homr Depot. The employees are always great, and knowledgeable. Even if the store is out of stock of something or they don't sell it because it's uncommon, the employees can always point you in a good place to look for it.The coupons and rewards system are both great tools once you figure them out, I've saved hundreds of dollars over the years.They sell nice, name brand tools, but if just want something to do the job, a tool store like Harbor Freight has them beat. (They are after all a tool store and not a hardware store)One thing I wish they had more of was locking flange nuts. They don't sell any of any kind, and I always seem to need them.

Have lots of things you can't find in the big box chains at competitive prices. Customer service is superb. If you know what you want and where to find it, they stay out of your way; if you need help, they are always willing and able to spend as much time as required to get you what you need. Friendly, hometown store.

Very big store with all your needs, but the majority of the staff was standoffish and didn't offer help, the only 2 people that tried helping was the lady at the register who told me what aisle to go down then a young man who was busy helping a customer who also told me another aisle for what I needed. But when I first arrived the lady at the register got on the phone and called someone to come help me in the light aisle and no one ever showed up.

Absolutely wonderful customer service. I hadn't been in a while so I took my time, just to see what all is there. So many items but unfortunately the prices for basic needs like bug spray, household cleaning solutions and such are excessively overpriced, compared to where I normally shop for such things. I needed plumbing advice and was well received by the floor associate.

Of all things I was just looking for a screwdriver so I can install the license plate on my car. As soon as I walked in the door they was already willing to help and show me where it was. Very very friendly and helpful people. On the downside, I was looking at some Craftsman ratchets and noticed they was made in China. That is a real bummer. But it is not the fault of the store. The store seemed very big well-organized clean and the people was super helpful.

Every time I come here, the employees are excellent. They greet you and are very helpful and nice. However, one incident has pinched my nerve. I went to get a second key cut (because the first one came out right before). A man helped me and went to cut my key (that I had brought in) and I heard the machine and the "uh-oh" and knew it was messed up, I accepted it, stuff happens. The man and his coworker proceeded to look for a replacement key (hasn't told me that mine's broke yet), but they were trying. The girl is called away and another woman comes into the picture and the boy tells her what happened and she grabs the key and looks at me and tells me that the machine didn't have a good enough grip on it and as the man said before Ace is not liable for the key if it gets ruined. 1 - He did not tell me anything about a liability prior to cutting my key, neither has the person that cut my first key a few days earlier. Had he told me before hand, I wouldn't be as frustrated. 2 - She wasn't around in the beginning to know if he did tell me. Then proceeded to try and sale me one of their keys, when I already had a new key, and just needed the blade cut. Other than this, their employees provide friendly service.

Well organized, clean store!! All salespeople are friendly and helpful. Most are extremely knowledgeable. Occasionally one may get someone with more experience to help. Hardly ever long lines or waiting. Quality products every time!!

It blows my mind how fast the employees can tell you where anything is. I haven't met one employee there who isn't very knowledgeable. I've seen one employee look at some female threads and walk us straight to the bolts we needed. He knew that it was metric and what size just by looking.

Always a salesperson to greet you when you come inside the door! Don't worry about having a short lunch hour to run your errands, they are quick to find what you're looking for once you enter their doors! Love them!

They had what I needed but it seems they are so busy that I spent 30 minutes looking for it. I would have ask someone but I could not find anyone. When I went to check out they ask me if I found everything, LOL. If you go here and know where everything is you will be ok. The store is clean. Just need somebody there on the floor to help. Would have rated you 5 stars.

I frequent this place often and can say each and every time I enter the building, I'm greeted hello and asked "what can I help you with". Its nice to have a place where they pride themselves on customer service.

So you can sale more items that I need around the house and our business.I’ve been in several stores trying to find items that I don’t know much about. I had to go find someone to help me. Tryed to buy a Stihl chainsaw needed a price check . Lady that was waiting on us went to the back never came back. Really needed that saw and I was on my lunch break , had to leave without a chainsaw .

There used to be a place in Silsbee that carried a full line of the little parts you need for faucet and plumbing repairs around the house. While I have to go to Lumberton for those parts, I don't mind. The selection and service are WAY better at M&D. I just come straight over here now.

My favorite place for that piece/fitting/attachment-do-hickey. The staff is helpful and readily available. Not expensive, but a few bucks more than Wal-Mart...and WORTH IT!
