I hurt my knee on the way to the clinic to geld my horse. The staff was amazing and kept the horse for most of the day while I was at the hospital. They helped me and unloaded him for me as well as helped me load him when I got back there. They are as kind and compassionate with people as they are with animals. My horse is recovering nicely and I wouldn't hesitate to take any of my animals to this vet clinic.

Amazing customer service! Very attentive and genuinely interested in me and my dog. They were never once critical of what I fed my dog or his lack of grooming. They were not pushy with services as some other vet places are. I was very impressed with how clean every room was including the lobby. I figured with the amount of pets going through the place, along with how much they shed, it would be dirty. But that was definitely not the case. They lady I spoke with over the phone had great interpersonal skills. She spoke loud and clear and listened long enough to understand what I was really trying to ask. She took the time to calculate how much my visit and vaccines would be, and that was spot on! Staff was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this place for every concern you might have. I'll be trying boarding with them next, I'll write another review for that as well.

At a wellness check the vet saw indications of hypothyroidism in our dog. A test confirmed that he was correct. Now our dog has begun a medication to help her and I am so pleased that her quality of life will be improved! I am so thankful for the good people at this clinic!

Our miniature schnauzer got into something and injured herself, since we live across the street from Chisholm trail I told my son to take there (she typically goes to Guadalupe Valley Animal clinic). We emailed her shot records , the vet takes a look st her and tells my son she needs stitches (clearly). They gave him an outrageous quote..we're out of town so I say..take to Gonzalez now. The woman at the front desk then charged my son $66.00 he asked for "what y'all didn't do anything to her" she claims it was for the evaluation..it's crazy that he didn't touch her they did literally nothing and they charged that much...This is a huge reason why people don't take their animals in for the care they require. We know better now...never again

We started coming to the Luling location after horrible experiences at the Lockhart location. The difference is night and day! Dr. Crum is attentive, polite, and professional. He always takes his time to listen to your concerns and gives thorough explantations. The whole staff is actually amazing. We always feel at ease knowing our dogs are in good hands at this vet. Can’t recommend them enough! 🐾

Chisholm Trail Veterinary in Lulling are the best. They made time in-between scheduled appointments to tend to my fur baby. The staff was very understanding, sympathetic, warm and helpful and hearing out my fur babies issues. Will Crump, D.V.M explained my fur babies issues in lamest terms that I could understand. He was very helpful and I am grateful for him. My fur baby got the appropriate attention and is now back to normal. Big Thank You and hug.

I can not state any more emphatically that I will NEVER bring my pet to this vet again! Worst experience ever, and I have used the services of numerous veterinary clinics and have never had complaints before this experience. Upon bringing my fur baby for the first time, my wife was "greeted" by less-than-friendly and dismissive counter staff. Went on with the routine exam since we were already there. We were not impressed with the service. I left having decided I would use a different pharmacy to fill heartworm meds since I definitely did not want to give this place any additional business. When my pharmacy called, this clinic rejected the prescription because they wanted the business. They have no right whatsoever to deny sent a prescription simply because of their personal greed but refused anyway. The exam is a service for which I paid, and the vet should be obligated to provide that info to any pharmacy of my choosing. Again, I will NEVER bring this pet or anything other animal of mine to this place or any other of the corporate operations.

Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic of Luling is now my choice for a vet. I had a newborn calf that would not have survived without medical intervention. They took care of his medical needs. Showed my husband and I how to tube feed him, returned phone calls when I had questions, let me bring him back in for another lesson on tube feeding. Now two weeks later, that tiny 21 lb. Dexter is 33 lbs. and doing well.

My kitty was in pretty bad shape. I thought he may not pull through as he was bitten by a venomous snake. The vet was absolutely amazing and got Gargamel back to his normal spunky self. You can tell he really cares about animals.

Dr. Crum was exceptionally compassionate, understanding and thorough with his discoveries of the extent of our ESA. His efforts to ensure we understood our ESA’s injuries and needs were assuredly impressive. Although the receptionist was less than enthusiastic, helpful nor informative. We are confident if we were to return with our ESA, he will be well cared for by Dr Crum.

This is Girly Girl. She just had her staples removed. Girly Girl is alive thanks to the good people and the care she received at Chisholm Trail Veterinary in Luling. A few weeks prior, Girly Girl suffered a severe, traumatic injury. I began calling area vets trying to get her in. The 5th vet I called was the 1st clinic that could see her that day. Chisholm Trail Vet Clinic gave me an early appointment that morning. I wasn't sure I could get Girly Girl loaded and to the clinic that soon. The lady I was speaking with told me not to worry, just bring her in. If needed they would "work her in" sometime that day. Dr. Arredondo examined Girly Girl and asked me what I wanted to accomplish with her. I said, it would be nice to save her leg and make it function, but my number one priority was to save her life. Dr. Arredondo suggested 2 plans of treatment and an itemized cost for each with a high to low estimate. Girly Girl's surgery was the next day. Her recovery was quick and complete. The cost was under the lowest estimate quoted. Dr. Arredondo's surgery was beautiful.(i hope these names are correct) Thank you Maria, Angel, Christy, Mario, and all the others whom i didn't get a name for,.. I know this without any doubt, your kindness and your skill has helped Girly Girl to continue her life. She is enjoying it !!

The staff was warm, friendly and professional. Our tech explained everything up front. Tex did great and continues to do so. I recommend this clinic and especially recommend their low cost neuter services offered to the public. We were treated wonderfully. We’ll be back when the need calls for it. Their service was good but I took in a stray kitten that got injured. They said he was fine but after the visit he was very obviously not. (Seizures that lasted 5 minutes, non responsive in sight and sound) Due to almost all vet clinics and shelters closed on the weekend and the money I spent out of pocket from this visit here, I was unable to help him and all I could do was euthanize him

We are a lot disappointed in the lack of care my wife's Emotional Support Animal "Buddy" received at this location. X-rays and labs that were to take 48 hours. She was told;"It's either one of two types if pneumonia or cancer, here's some antibiotics, we'll call with lab results, or if these work he should be impoved in 72 hrs".That left us with a dying dog, no lab results, or clear information to be able to make choices. We have Buddy nearly depleted of Oxygen at 1am on a Sunday morning, and forced to travel to an expensive all night vet clinic in Austin. They indicated his case should have been handled with more urgency on Wednesday.We'll never know- RIP Buddy!

Emergency for an older horse had Dr. A. and Megan out to a Farm Call for me. Kind, attentive and very informative, they took care of my old girl so wonderfully! They came back to remove stitches and the wound looks very good. I trust this Clinic with all of my animals!

My 90 lb Boxer had to have an unplanned c-section, staff was kind and easy to work with. Dr Lopez did a great job and personally kept me updated on things until he opened her up, But he came back out afterward filled me in on the situation and answered all my questions. Only reason I gave 4 out of 5 was I was not allowed in the treatment area...I was a vet tech before I retired.

Professional, friendly staff and doctors. They have taken great care of my dogs, goats and horses, always caring, and always willing to answer my many questions. A big plus is they offer you different options of care and don’t push high priced procedures right off the bat, but work through the simpler options to see if that will take care of whatever issue your animals are experiencing. I appreciate this, and if they DO recommend a pricier option I can trust that it is warranted. Highly recommend Dr. Arredondo!

We've taken our three cats and a new dog, all adopted strays, to Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic in Luling, and have been very happy with the service. Dr. Lopez saved our cat Milagro when she had a urinary tract infection and dangerously high fever. He made a weekend appointment to see our dog Davina. We haven't had a dog for many year and Dr. Lopez helped us understand how to care for her. We live in Kingsbury and have tried vets closer to us in Seguin and Lockhart, but have been very impressed with the knowledge and kindness of Dr. Lopez and his staff. Highly recommended!
