Let me first say that TSC had the best Garden Center in our town. Hands down had all the other stores beat(Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.)I went in to my store today and was very very disappointed in the condition I found the Garden center. Most all of the plants that were there were DEAD or Dying. They looked terrible!!!Just a few months ago it was thriving and beautiful to see. I mean TSC just spent quite a bit of money to upgrade our store and had it staffed with knowledgeable and caring staff. Fast forward to today and now it looks like they are losing a ton of money on their stock. All because corporate wanted to restructure how the garden staff are scheduled and compensated. Choosing to just pay any staff member to take care of the plants. Instead of searching for knowledgeable staff and striving to keep that staff.Very disappointed Tractor Supply!!! Shame on you.

We really love tractor supply as a family they always seem to have everything in stock. Unfortunately there was a good couple of months where they were doing some remodeling and we're no longer refilling propane tanks but today they are now refilling propane tanks again. Apparently they are building a greenhouse on the side of their building but it's not ready yet. All the employees here are very nice. And the place is always clean. The prices are decent and their baby chicks are adorable. I wish their cowboy hats and boots were little cheaper. Keep in mind it does get pretty busy here. The price of propane keeps creeping up. Today it's $3.89 a gallon for propane. It's only $20 at the dollar store to exchange a 5 gallon propane tank. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to get somebody out there to refill your propane tank at tractor supply. So some days we just do the convenience at the dollar store because when you pay for it there you don't have to wait, they come right outside with you and exchange the tank immediately. So it just depends how much you value your time. We will continue to frequent tractor supply company in the future.

On 11-9-23, I searched prices on 50" x 16' cattle panels. Tractor Supply in my area, Crockett TX, was $29.99 per panel and I needed 15. I found them cheaper at Atwood Ranch Supply in Nacogdoches, $24.99. I called my local TS and the woman manager wouldn't even entertain matching the price with Atwood saying, "I've been taught we don't do that."I then called the Lufkin, Texas Tractor Supply and a very upbeat, congenial woman answered the phone named Melissa. I asked to speak to the Store Manager and she said, "Speaking." It was hard to believe that the Manager would answer the phone, and... be so nice and personable as well.I told her that a competitor, Atwood Ranch Supply had a cheaper price on cattle panels and asked if she would match their price. She asked what the price was, and then said, "Yes, we'll match it." She asked how many I needed and I said 15. She said come and get them and ask for me, or better yet, I'll leave a message with all my managers and tell them you're coming.It was 50 miles to her Tractor Supply but it was well worth the trip to be treated in such a neighborly way. All smiles, and friendly kind words, not only from Melissa the Store Manager, but from everyone. I'm 71 years old and I had thought the old days of treating the customer so well was just a thing of the past, only to be remembered... but this Store renewed my faith.When 2 people came out to load the 15 cattle panels, I asked who they were. One was Wendy, another manager, and Mike, a very friendly worker who offered me 2 of his tie down straps and a come-along. Just bring it back later.My hat's off to this Store in Lufkin. If it were up to me, I'd give each one of these 2 their own stores to manage. They've worked under a grand teacher. Kindness and congeniality comes from the top down. You can't be ordered to treat customers that way, you experience it done from the Head and it filters down.May the Good Lord bless and prosper this store and it's staff for their kindness.Mac Adams Ranch

I absolutely love this location. I shop there every time I come to town. The staff are so friendly and very knowledgeable in their department. I bought exactly what I wanted yesterday but I usually don't get out of there with less than spending $100 at the minimum. The staff make me feel like they are friends. The store is very clean always and I am always offered assistance taking things to my vehicle. I love the smiley faces and sense of humors of the staff. Whatever the manager is doing, keep it up. The staff is happy and that keeps the customer happy. Makes me want to go work for Tractor Supply!

If nothing else buy the chickens for the sake of saving them from neglegence. Chickens are not water foul! I told someone what happened, "Oh yeah, we'll change it out" was the reply I got, and 30 minutes later they are still sitting in a puddle of water.The last photo should be of their Bantam chicks. The SIGNIFIGANT size difference should tell you what's wrong there. I have no doubt whatsoever that there is bullying going on in that enclosure.I didn't get a picture of it, but the duck trough was just as bad but with overcrowding!!! There were so many ducklings that I couldn't see the bottom of their trough, THEY couldn't MOVE without upsetting another one and risking getting pecked for it, and I saw the pecking quite frequently in the short time I was there.I don't have space OR a place for them where I live, but somebody PLEASE get these babies out of there!

There is a sign on the door that clearly reads. Manager special add an additional 25 percent off already clearanced items. Got a few items off the clearance rack got ready to check out and the was no additional 25 percent off .the manager gets involved and wants to Argue the fact that the items I’m trying to purchase are already on sale and that’s it. Clearly they are on sale that’s why there on the clearance rack. The sign advertising is an additional 25 percent off clearance items. She was rude and had an attitude so I just walked out. I will never agin shop at tractor supply.

This tractor supply location is run by incompetent people that apparently cannot read. I recently returned a pressure washer that I used 3 times before it broke. The manager Daniel seemed like he only wanted to exchange the item and not refund it from the start. Once we got refunded we noticed that the warranty was not refunded as well. We returned to the store only to be told that the warranty was used to give us the refund. It shouldn’t have been done this way since we were still in the 30-day timeframe on the initial return policy that comes with any item purchased from tractor supply. This is way of business is unacceptable.

Over the years I have shopped at Tractor supply and have spent a tremendous amount of money with them for various items. Not long ago I bought a Carhartt belt for my girlfriend which ended up having a faulty buckle ( No fault of the stores) but the fact that they would not do a simple even exchange really upset me to the fact that now I will go out my way to shop elsewhere

They usually have good prices and a good selection with items in stock. However if you need an item from a locked case you should expect to have quite the wait. They never seem to have anywhere near enough employees working to meet the demand of customers in store.

This place is most definitely very unpleasant. I have never felt so vulnerable to sickness. The sign outside their place says it is a requirement. I remember when they had a person guarding the door to make it mandatory to have a mask. I now see people going in with a mask and taking them off. I also see people not even going in with a mask on. I use to love this place, but now it seems they are careless about the customers that come in. Social distancing? Not any. A person came in behind me and tried to get the closest they could to me. No, I’m not a Karen but I’d rather not die from people not giving damn about my safety or others.

I'm not sure I'd even give them one star. My husband is a DV so I do most of the errands. We have chickens, dogs, horses, and plenty of other animals to care for. My daughter got me into Tractor Supply. At first I loved it, but then it seemed the more business I did with them the less attentive they became. I am older also and often need help loading and pushing the loaded cart with feed. If Josh or the Manager sees me in the store they run the other way. I do not believe they know how a feed store or farm store should operate. I DO NOT LIKE GOING TO A FEW OTHER FEED STORES in town, but I have been because they have my feed loaded before I even get my feed paid for. Another problem is TS doesn't keep items in stock. We ordered two 57.00 halters a month ago, haven't seen them since. Don't ask to order anything, you will never see it!!

Our go to place for farm supplies including chicken feed and dog food for our livestock guardian dog. Some of the staff could stand to be a bit more helpful but for the most part it is a great store overall. Convenient location next right off the loop and freeway.

Comparable prices and good selection... From small to large animals supplies, fencing, equipment, gardening, etc.Vernon is super nice and always willing to lend a hand!They also host various low cost clinics for small animals.

I like Tractor Supply, but I always have to wait in line...with only one cashier. I bought a weed eater, extended warranty pushed for up-sale..."If it don't start, and WE can't start it, we Replace it. 2nd time to use it, (with their fuel) it won't even hit. Sent to warranty center, they don't have Anyone working in the shop...but are 2 weeks out to check it. That folks...Is NOT Service. I want a new mower, but it will NOT be from Tractor Supply! If you choke an air cooled engine, and it don't start or hit by the second pull, it's BROKE! Warranty....words!

I've not been in many other tractor supply stores but ours has a large selection of many things. If you're doing something at home or in the yard you might be surprised at how much stuff they have to help you along with your project. And with fairly good if not great prices.

Tractor Supply is a nice store. They are higher on deer corn but it is clean. They normally have just about anything needed for small landowners and can order whatever is needed.Good supply of chemicals as well.

They carry a lot of what farmer, sanctuaries, and rescue shelters need. From live stock to fowl to domesticated animal food, animal medications, and living supplies. Clothing and garden seeds and seasonal fruit and flowering trees are of good quality, Tools and of course tractor and lawn tractor supplies.If you have wondered, definitely stop in to check out what they have. Offerings do fluctuate by the growing season and holiday.

I came by yesterday afternoon around 5:45 to refill my propane tank and noone was available. Told they would be here at 0800. I told the young lady i would be here at 0700.I got here at 0745. When they opened the door I went inside and the gentleman looked at me and said it was going to be a little while. I said ok. Then another man came out to help. He was radioed hehad a customer and he saidhe would refill my tank. Other man said customer comes first and I told her it was going to be a while. I asked the 2nd man what was I chopped liver? I waited until0815 and then had my tank filled. Very poor service.
