Wonderful meat market in Central/ Lufkin. Great customer service with the ability to call in orders for lots of different things in advance. For large orders, they will vacuum seal the meats so you can place the freezer for extended periods. Additionally, if you have livestock you'd like to slaughter, they can take care of this for you as well.

We discovered this meat market for the first time and picked up a few steaks and sausage. The meat was fresh and very favorful. The German sausage is a huge hit with our family, with requests to stock up the freezer! The steaks grilled up beautifully. So happy to find a meat market that cuts steaks to a generous thickness.(our dog was very happy with the bones)Thank you for all of your help. We look forward to many years of good quality meat!

I have been buying my meats from Massingill's Meat Market in Lufkin/Central on 69 North since 1980. I have always had the friendliest service and spoke to the most wonderful people. Hey they are just plain folks like me. I order my hind quarter cut up just like I want it and as thick or thin as I want it and they fix my meat just like I order it. Even my pork and my chicken comes exactly the way I order it. They wrap it like I ask so it will fit into my freezer right. They are so much cheaper than B. B.& WM, you just cannot go wrong buying your meat there. Their meat also tastes better too. They also offer other things like their own homemade sausage and links. You like things spicy, you got it, they will fix it for you. I am not kin to them but they make me fill like I am part of their family. I would not buy my meats anywhere else. Just a wonderful business/people. If you haven't tried it, just go by there and buy one of their boxes or just one meal of meats and try them. Tell them Frankie O. sent you. You won't get anything, but great friendly service, good prices, and great food. But you will go back.

Wonderful place to do business.My son was called out to an accident involving a full grown cow and a truck. The beef had to be put down. He ended up bringing the cow home to avoid wasting the meat. We quartered it up and took it to Massingill's to be processed. These folks are affordable, friendly and professional. They let us bring the quartered beef in on the spot. Their packaging is quality for long freezer life. I have only good things to say about my experience.Thanks Massingill Team

I am really sold on this place. After multiple orders, I can confirm the quality and service of Massingill"s Meat Market is consistent, fresh, and clean. I live in Grapeland, an hour's drive away, and I won't buy meat any other place. Excellent quality meat products. A true meat market. Excellent steaks custom cut. Top grade ground chuck. Good service. Good people. Real butcher shop. These are the sweetest people. They treat everyone with courtesy and respect. Awesome family.

I've bought sausage from here for several years as we can't get Bo Jackson sausage in Dallas. They have started making their own sausage which is also very good. Everyone has always been very friendly and easy to work with every time I've visited. Great place.

Great place to buy meat and have deer processed in Lufkin. Meat is always fresh and customer service is always great. They will custom cut meats to your desired thickness as well. They make their own summer sausages and smoked sausages that are fantastic. We love their German sausage. Highly recommend Massingill's to everyone.

Best meat market around, everything you could possibly need and much more. All the standard cuts plus custom requests and pretty much anything you want. Amazing summer sausage and beef jerky as well. They process deer during season with fast fair pricing. Friendliest folks in town. I couldn't be more satisfied, highly recommended.

I grew up in Lufkin but live in Houston these days I call these guys up and tell them what I need, they pack it and have it ready to pick up when I get there. We were pleased to find a full-service butcher shop so close to our home. The staff is knowledgeable about the products and how their to be prepared. They're always willing to give you more information if you need it. We have found their meat to be high quality and their ground chuck to be less fatty and greasy than what we find at a local grocery store. The only thing that I wish They Carried more of was fresh fruits and vegetables that would be good to serve with the meat. I also wish that they would consistently have more dairy products comma cheese, bread and other things that you could make a complete meal with. They have deer processing services which would be a popular future for the area however we have never used that.

Fast pleasant service. They cut meat at your request and at the thickness you desire. There choices of precut are very thick and satisfying for a majority of the time. It is a real meat market in the same vain as years ago when I was a kid.

Incredibly nice and patient! I called asking for deer processing info, since I've never shot one, and the guy I talked to spent the time to explain everything. He was nice, calm and patient. All this on the day before Thanksgiving! 3 hours from closing early!

I buy my meats for jerky I just call it in the day before and its waiting on me when I get there. I love this place just good down home people
