Heavenly Paws dog and pet grooming really gave our little dog a heavenly treatment. It's like our little dog was touched by an angel. It made this grown man shed a tear. When I took her home, she was not even nervous in the car, for the first time ever! She is a much happier dog today, her doggy-smile just won't stop. From now on, I won't trust my dog to anyone else. Faith makes all the difference, and Heavenly Paws is like a light on a hill. The staff and owner are the kindest people, to humans AND pets.

So to start, my dog always looks great when he leaves. He's an anxious boy and the groomers handle it really well. They have cut his quick once while trimming his nails, but I have taken him here several times and it has only been an issue the one time, I just don't work with Mary anymore. My issue is with the person working the front desk. It is usually a man who is very kind and pleasant to approach and speak to. Today, it was Maria. I dropped my dog off at 9:30 and had to call at 2 to see if he was ready yet (I have experienced times when they can't get to my dog until the time quoted he would be done, so I assumed they were just busy and hadn't gotten to him yet). Maria instantly gave me attitude and said "yeah, actually we've called you several times since 12:30 and you just send us to voicemail." I apologized and said I did not have any missed calls from then. She said "well I know we called because we mark it down in our system." When I arrived, she checked the number she had on file for me and lo and behold, there were two numbers on file and one was not mine. She did not apologize for being rude, but continued to use a sarcastic tone with me. As much as I like the grooming that gets done on my dog, I'm not interested in being disrespected by the person working the front desk. If you do not have good customer service skills, don't work in a customer facing position.

Out of all the places in Lubbock we have been, these are the most gentle and considerate of your pet people that we have met and worked with. They do the best cuts to keep you and vour baies happy regardless. I will recommend them all day long to everyone.

They have always looked out and taken care of Bruce my Golden Doodle in ways I can’t ever repay. Andy has gone above and beyond for us and I’m truly thankful. I personally recommend them based on my experience and Bruce loves going to get groomed at Heavenly Paws.

I have had the hardest time finding a reputable groomer in lubbock. On a whim, we decided to try heavenly paws for this month’s groom- and now it’s the only place we will be going! The groomers did such a great job with my anxious guy. After leaving him there and anxious mess, he came out as happy as could be! They treated him so well. He has the most sensitive paws and refuses to let me touch them, and my goodness. He came out looking wonderful! Perfectly trimmed paws & coat all for a very reasonable price. We can’t wait to come back next month!

I took my dog here a day ago. They called me 2 hours in telling me they couldn't finish because my dog had too much anxiety. Cut half her nails and shaved half of her bald. Was very rude but told us since they butchered my dog they wouldn't charge us. Just to call us 3 hours later trying to get a card over the phone saying we owed them money. Where did you get your license at? And why can't you make up your mind. I wish I read more of the reviews before I came here. Not coming here again!

First time visiting today. And omg it was a wonderful experience! We saw Ms Kim and she was absolutely fantastic! Everyone was great to be honest. Great place and will definitely return! My baby looks so good. And Kim did a great job with my baby being new and nervous and a little wiggle worm. I really didn't expect much because I knew my dog might be a bit difficult. But I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks so much for taking good care of my girl and making her so pretty!💕💕

they always cut my moms dog so short & ugly. have made him bleed several times. we brush him all the time & they claim they cut it short cuz he’s matted . LIES.. they even cut his face hair soooo short. he looks very different my kids are scared of him now.

Never taking any of my family’s dogs here again. Her nails, ears and tail were not trimmed. Her butt was still dirty and we constantly have scheduling issues where we have an appointment scheduled and we get a confirmation text, but when we get there they say we aren’t on the schedule.

As soon as you walk in you can tell it's a happy place. Happy vibes. They have some doggies and a kitty just hanging out. It's so cute. You can feel their love for animals. My dog absolutely loves it. He was a little hesitant and shy at first but after the lady bent down and talked with him he felt safe and followed her. I was surprised he didn't even bark at the cat! I was nervous when I first saw the cat but nope he was well behaved and loved it there. He looked like he could've used some more brushing but over all they did a really good job and he was happy 😊

I had the best experience with this groomer! I took my furbabies & we visited a variety of groomers in the Lubbock area to get a feel of who we should choose to use. And I am happy to say that Heavenly Paws lived up to their wonderful reputation & recommendations! Lady & Charlie loved their groomers, C.H. & Amy. The ladies did an amazing job & we look forward to seeing them in the future. 💖💖🐕🐶

The staff is the best. We always feel welcome and special when we walk in. Andy is absolutely the best dog groomer on the South Plains. We brought our mini-schnauzer in for his first cut, and WOW! Classic schnauzer, with Andy's singular touch! He's gorgeous, and as you can see, happy too!! Our babies love them and we do too!

They name is Heavenly Paws, but this sure was one Hell of an experience and cut. I do NOT recommend anyone go here, unless you want to support blind groomers. That's the only explanation I can come up for what they did to my precious little girl. Poor service. A cut that I can't even begin to explain, and they kept her for over 4 hours. Wow.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They treated our fur baby with care. Did a good job. We continue to take our fur baby here. They always welcome him and treat him very well. We trust them with our fur baby. We can tell his treated very well by his behavior when we pick him up. The staff is so caring and always in a happy mood. Very respectful and helpful. Visited for the first time and will definitely be coming back! My fur baby has never been so happy after the groomers! They were extremely professional, attentive, and sweet about me running late. My pup also looks and smells great of course. 10/10 service!

I just need a place to be good to my baby. Groomer did okay job,didn't do ear hairs. Her ears needed trimming . I tip well. Due to my fur baby shitzu was abused at a groomers before. But I also expect the work to be done. Will use again but will be more persistent on her grooming. If not satisfied will try elsewhere. Just looking for a complete doggy grooming package. That's it! But seems difficult now days to find that. Overall people are friendly,prices r great. Just need more training on grooming. After all these lil ones are like our kiddos. We want them catered too.

Morgan was absolutely amazing! He was very reassuring and helpful for our crazy 6 month old doodles first hair cut! She looks amazing and has the perfect summer cut for these warmer months! Morgan called to update me throughout the process about timing and on how she was doing - which was very appreciated! We look forward to using them again and would highly recommend to others!

Took my standard poodle here for the first time while she was visiting from out of town and I couldn’t be happier with how she looks! Front desk staff were so nice and friendly. Christy was the groomer and took detailed notes on how I wanted her to look. My dog looks great, she isn’t stressed out so I know they were gentle with her, and I can tell that this is one of the best quality cuts she’s had. A little pricey, but it’s definitely reflected in the quality. This will be my go-to groomer in Lubbock!

These people totally do a great job and will give your mutt whatever haircut you desire. They don't try to talk to you about how your dog is supposed to look. They just let you pick how you want your dog groomed and they do it. And they do it right. My dog has a mohawk and it's totally awesome. And it's one of those dogs with like a terrier face with a mustache and beard. But she's a girl so I said get rid of all of that. And they did. Oh, and did I mention that they're fast, too? Like all three of our dogs took maybe a couple of hours before they called for us to come get 'em.

My go to place for good grooming reasonable prices. My pup always happy in and out, which tells me his experience is not stressful for him. They also ask if I'm happy and do a follow up call the next day. Before and after pics, I am 4 stars only cause I have seen places charge less, but you also get what you pay for.

I brought my Yorkie in for a hair cut and when I went in to get him, they had told me she did the best she could because he was moving too much. Which was odd because I’ve never been told that problem before and he has been going here for 4 years. Anyway, I take him home and and my mother was telling me he’s acting different, they did something to him. We did a brief look over and saw nothing. The next morning he had given himself a huge hot spot. I work in a veterinary office as a technician so I took him the work that morning. The doctor looked at him and said that it looks like they clipped him really bad or they burned him with the clippers. After work I brought him in to heavenly paws and showed them. I wasn’t being mean. I didn’t ask for money back, I simply wanted them to see and take responsibility. I told them I would’ve been fine if they had told me the day before. The owner came and talked to me explaining it looked old and there is no way their clippers could have done it. I told him this happened overnight and clippers do get hot. He just kept denying it and I explained the vet even said they either clipped him or burned him. He just kept denying it. So I left and went home. My mother ended up calling and she works in business management and explained instead of denying they should look into it and call the vet, he agreed to it finally. Note my dog was groomed Friday and I went in Saturday. He called Tuesday, when I was not working, so when I finally went into work one of the doctors told me heavenly paws called and kept telling him there’s no way they could have done it. This is horrible customer service. All they do is deny and this has happened before. After this happened, I looked at some reviews on google and they did the exact same thing to someone else. We deal with clippers also and they do get hot all on the blade. Not just the tip! My family and I had been going here since our 14 year old schnauzer . Note this was about a month ago this happened and it’s still not healed. Dr says it’s healing like a burn.UPDATE: His hair never grew back and has a bald spot on the injury. Clearly healed like a burn.
