Used them for years.This visit was chaotic when I dropped off my pup. It took over 6 hours for the groom. They had told me 2.5-3. Pick up was very chaotic and they did not follow directions on her cut.Not sure I will be back.

I highly recommend this Groomer! Our little Flower went in looking like a shaggy puppy and was delivered to us as a transformed little beauty. This was her first grooming and we know she was a handful. Regardless, we were delighted with the way Cindy met the challenge. True professionals….we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else!

Dog Gone Beautiful the name is deceiving!They shouldn’t be in business!After the third time of taking my dog here this is what happened!This is what they made my poor dog look like after I clearly said I want the traditional schnauzer cut. This is not a schnauzer cut! They also did not refund me!Do not take your dog here!They are awful service!Also since me and my dog work together off of social media they lost me three plus months worth of work!!! Because of a bad haircut.Again please if you love your dog and would like him or her to look normal don’t bring them to Dog Gone Beautiful!

the groomers here made my Finnegan look so handsome! very nice service. my sweet guy is very very shy, but he was very well taken care of and was trimmed beautifully. We will be returning!

I would pass on this place.I dropped my dog off between 8:30-9:00am (I was told dropping off that day between 7:30am and 10:00am was fine). I waited all day and get a call at 3:53pm saying she’s ready. Which almost undoubtedly means my dog sat in a kennel for hours. When dropping off my dog I asked for her to be shaved nose-to-tail, ears plucked, and nails ground (bath was included per previous phone conversation but not explicitly stated at drop off).I go to pick up my dog and the first red flag was they had me pay before seeing my dog. They seemed nice enough and thought maybe it was just a one time out of the normal thing, so I tipped $20 on top of the $113 bill. They bring my dog out and I immediately notice there’s two tufts of hair completely missed by the groomer. It’s obvious because she went from 3” or 4” long curly poodle hair to .25” (or shorter) shaved hair. One of the tufts was at the base of her tail and the other was on her neck. How do you miss that!? I ask them to fix it and they tried bringing my dog back into the back but she started jumping and pulling away. I’ve never seen my dog do that and it was concerning. She is very chill (especially for a doodle) and loves all people and would go anywhere with anyone. The young man that groomed her came out with clippers and fixed those two areas.I get her home and notice several other issues. 1) there are other unfinished areas I didn’t catch at the shop, such as her elbow, her tail, her feet, and the insides of her back legs. 2) her nails seemed trimmed with clippers, not ground, and they were still long. 3) the insides of her ears had not been plucked. And finally, 4) it was clear when I got her home that she had not been offered any sort of bathroom break since I dropped her off that morning.I know grooming doodles is labor intensive, but this seemed like a rushed, and careless job.Additionally, the first irritant was having a hard time setting up an appointment because they lady could not hear over all the barking dogs and kept putting me on hold. With modern phone technology background noise can be reduced if not completely eliminated. It’s a wonder they are using a 20 year old land line.

horrible grooming service. I was a first time customer and asked for just facial trim and sanitary. They made my dog look so ugly & even cut his whiskers!!! They shaved the tip of his ears for no reason and his paw area is unevenly cut. I’m so disappointed and upset. DONT COME HERE

I am a new customer and I am very happy with my experience at dog gone beautiful. I will definitely be returning! My pup gets anxiety around new people and she makes it hard for her to get groomed. Pet smart rejected us for it and told us to seek sedation. Cindy at dog gone beautiful was very patient and did such a great job! Everyone I talked to was very nice!

They got my dog Smokey in when it was convient for me that same day. I was not sure my dog was gonna be ok but he was well taken care of and i will definately take Smokey there again. They put this cute lil collar on his neck and he smelled so clean.

Can't say enough good things about this business. I really felt like they took the time to listen to how I wanted my bog groomed! I will be returning!

I took my fur baby there today for the first time. I was so impressed with the staff. They were all so friendly and it’s apparent that they love dogs! My dog was not hesitant to go with them. When I picked him up he was not stressed at all. He was actually happy! They did an awesome job on his grooming! I have no complaints at all. I am changing to Dog Gone Beautiful! They all made a wonderful impression on me.

This place is superior . They did a great job on the grooming ,But my dog got away from me at the car as we were leaving . All 4 employees came out to help me catch him I am thankfull ya so very much ! Rye, one of the groomers ran 2 blocks and stop him from running to 34th st . They do care ! Your pet will be in good hands .

They will hurt your dogs! Took my 13 week old puppy here for her first professional grooming and our 9 year old. Upon pickup the girls looked good and when we asked how the puppy acted, they said she acted great. On the way home the puppy yelped when being petted and seemed to be in pain. Our 9 year old had razor nicks all over her belly. After two days of the puppy yelping, we took her to the vet and $94 later, we find out she has soft tissue neck damage. If the dog is not acting right on the table then tell the owner the service can not be completed. Furthermore, for as much as we pay for the service they should invest in better clippers that do not nick the skin.

If you have a double coated dog I would NOT recommend this place. They have no idea what they are doing. They shaved my beautiful baby’s coat. I specifically told them I didn’t want his coat ruined and just a little clean up all around. I came back to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DOG. They groomed him like if he was any other ordinary dog (I have an Australian shepherd). He was completely shaved all the way around. Once your dogs coat is ruined just once their is a high chance it will never grow back the same and it could take up to two years to grow back. I was devastated and cried all night. They were nice enough to give me a refund but that does not resolve the damage they have caused. I asked the guy who handed him to me, if it being that short would ruin his coat (which it did) & he had no idea what I was even talking about. He seemed so confused when I mentioned he had a double coat. As groomers THIS IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW. NEVER shave a double coated dogs coat unless requested from the owner. Not only does this ruin their coat but can also cause health issues during the summer/winter. I will never go here again & I do not recommend.

Excellent job. Place we were using wasn't even bathing at least one of our 3 dogs. 10 min after she was home, her fur looked and felt just like she hadn't even had a bath. We suspected that for a while but now we know they didn't. The ladies at Dog Gone Beautiful are great. They are helpful and friendly. We were so relieved to find them!

100% satisfied, until I picked her up. The people who answered the phone were polite, honest, and fast to answer questions. The lovely lady who took my pup did a great job and was quick to put her at ease. Mooks looks gorgeous. However, when I went to pick her up, the lady at the register would not give her to me. My poor baby is an inside dog, and only really goes out for vet and haircuts. So when she saw me and my son, she panicked. She clearly wanted out. I asked if my son could hold her while I paid and she said no. She said I couldn't have anything until I paid. My poor girl kept screaming and I became furious at all this nonsense, so I handed the clerk a $100 bill and said ma'am, I'm not going to leave without paying, I just don't want my baby to panic. Please, let us hold her. She finally gave in, and then checked me out. I was so upset, I just left. I really enjoyed the service otherwise, and I have no idea where they thought I would run to, but not letting me hold my dog seemed absurd. I would have gladly paid before hand, and was literally standing there with my wallet waiting to pay. These last few moments were enough to make me strongly consider going back, and that makes me sad because otherwise, I would be a true and consistent client. I understand some people pull things, but traumaizing my puppy was unnecessary.
