Great quality meat at a price that is better than HEB & WALMART. You don't have to order a half of a cow or pig. We order the # of pounds of meat and the cuts we want. Just like you do in the big box stores.

I’ve been here multiple times before spend a lot of money here and refer people here all the time every time I come In everybody is so friendly but today 2/16 I was shocked I pulled up at 5:10 and the girl was standing outside and shook her head like she was not happy to serve people I came inside and asked for 2 tbone that’s it and everybody looked at each other like well do we have time ? Don’t you close at 6 ? Wasn’t greated in a friendly manner at all I was a happy paying customer to come support a local business and today put a Very bad taste in my mouth for the staff there I get it’s Friday everybody wants to go home but cmon you still had an hour left and I didn’t show up at 5:58 or anything kinda disappointed

This was my first experience at a slaughterhouse. I had no idea what a cut sheet was or where to start. There was a very helpful lady that walked me through every cut and explain to me about the cuts. She also explained and made sure that I got all the cuts of meat so I didn’t end up with a ton of ground beef. Everyone here is truly amazing!!

I normally process my own deer every season but due to my busy work schedule I decided to take a large doe to get processed and hands down this place makes some great products!!! The jerky and the smoked sausage was AMAZING! The staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful in choosing how I wanted my deer processed. I will definitely continue to give them my business as long as I deer hunt close to this area.

This is by far my very favorite meat market in all my years of working as a chef. Their beef is extraordinary. The folks at this market are kind and offer suggestions and the quality cannot be met anywhere from California to Texas as far as I've seen. I've come to retire here in Texas and I am more than happy to have found this place. I will continue to come here for my meats as long as I can.

We have had pork processed elsewhere and were dissatisfied with the customer service and return product so we tried Westphalia in Lott on recommendation by a friend. Their customer service is excellent, their knowledge of their business is superior, and the return product is the best we've found to date. Price is very fair and reasonable for services rendered.

We have our beef processed here. I love this place. I tried one other and paid three times the cost for nothing like I ordered. These folks are the greatest. We waited a year for our appointment. Worth the wait. Will never go anywhere else.

A great small-town meat processing company. The slaughter and butcher facility does an excellent job preparing the steers I raise into ready-to-cook beef.The market does custom cutting based on your specifications. If you are new to custom processing, they will help you determine what cuts are best for you. The beef is dry aged in the chiller for 14 days before cutting. That helps to improve both tenderness and flavor.In my case, I've been very satisfied with the yield from live weight to hanging weight. The final cut weight depends on how much you ask to be trimmed and whether you get cuts with bone in or boneless. The vacuum packed meat stores very well. I've had beef in a chest deep freeze for up to a year with no loss of quality or flavor.If you raise your own beef in the central Texas area you won't go wrong to use Westphalia Market as your processor. You can also buy beef cut at the market. If you are in the north Austin, Round Rock, or Georgetown area you can try their beef at the retail Westphalia Market in Hutto.

We've taken a steer, a heifer, and a goat in for butchering at this point. The kill price is cheap and to have everything vacuum wrapped is such a tiny amount more that it would be a waste of good food to not go with that option. They also do a great job of guiding you through what cut selections would be good choices depending on what's being butchered. Definitely plan well in advance because they're booked months in advance!

They shorted us! My in-laws and my wife spent hundreds of dollars to purchase a "half a cow" and have it cut into all the cuts of beef that come from 1/2 of the animal. When we picked it up we weighed it and it was over 100 lbs under the agreed weight of beef. Upon calling the market they gave us more cuts but the beef we received was under-represented by the desirable cuts like steaks and such, so we got mostly tough cuts like stew bits, cutlets, and chuck. Everyone agrees this was a scandalously bad investment.
