My dogs are always well taken care of when the board with Brazos Valley Boarding! The only reason I didn't give a five-star review is because my dogs food bowls were returned chewed up when I picked them up once. Minor complaint

I have never felt comfortable allowing anyone to keep my boys... until I met Leslie! This team truly cares about each and every dog, and treats them with the same loving care as their own pets. They put great care into making sure our boys got the proper food, medication, and overall care. I was shocked at how affectionate they were with my oldest boy- who can be a bit unpredictable in new environments. These people are DOG WHISPERERS! If you are a nervous dog parent, and are looking for a place to keep a close eye on your babies- look no further! BVBK is a true gem! From start to finish, this was a phenomenal experience! Thank you to the entire team for the very high standard you have set in Pet Care.

I dropped off my Heeler, Nubby, for the weekend while I went out of town and they took care of her like she was one of their own! They did a fabulous job and Nubby looked so happy when I picked her up. They told me all about her weekend and what she did there. We will definitely be back!

Best boarding experience we’ve had in a while! Living in Austin, it’s a bit of a drive, but totally worth it.clearly my dog had an awesome time, and we’re looking forward to boarding him there again.

We have been taking our border collie here for several years and have had no issues. We recently placed him there and advised them that he had developed a fear of thunderstorms and that he will dig on concrete. Also spoke to them about storms in the forecast during his stay. When we came to pick him up they showed us pictures of the concrete wall he had dug at during the storm (the one we told them was coming). They stated that our dog could not come anymore because they couldn't have their place damaged. We advised them that we had discussed this situation before hand and even told them when the storm was coming. Their response was,"Well I had to go to lunch." They were very defensive with us because I am sure they did not want to be blamed for any injuries to our dog. Our dog was OK and their wall can be easily and cheaply repaired. It is disappointing that they were unable to deal with an animal who is scared of storms, especially when we communicated in great detail with them about the situation. Also, he has been coming here for eight years, so we hoped they would have known him a little better. Very sad, we hoped for a different level of care and concern for our dog. I recommend them for basic care, but any situation that requires effort I would recommend other arrangements.

This place is awesome! We've been boarding our girl here for over three years and I am always impressed when I drop her off and when I pick her up.I don't leave many reviews, but when I get exceptionally good service, I try to let everyone know. I also leave bad reviews when needed, but it usually takes more than one bad experience for me to do so.I noticed a recent review and I can relate to a dog with anxiety issues....my girl gets really freaked out by storms too! But the staff has always been great about giving my girl her anxiety medication when storms are near. Without her meds, she can wreak havoc. Not sure why anyone would board their dog without medication if this is a known issue.If my girl tore something up, I would be so embarrassed!Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of Esme!

We always board our 2 dogs at BVBK when we go out of town. The dogs seem excited when we arrive, and they are always happy and well cared-for when we pick them up. The owner and staff are friendly and have given me several good recommendations regarding pet care. Thanks!
