Wow … there is not a facility within hundred miles that has the in stock merchandise these guys carry. Hunting , fishing , pistols , rifles , and did I mention every quality knife manufacturer and even re loading supplies, the staff are highly trained in the knowledge of the products as well. Customer service was outstanding soon as I walk in I’m greeted and asked if I need help ( and they don’t swarm on you either ) outstanding place , outstanding team … for everything you need .. super impressed for longview Tx .

My wife bought me a jacket for Christmas. A Sitka Duck Oven Jacket for $359.00. Upon opening it, and trying it on, it had a spot on it. We tried to clean it, no luck.We called the store to see if they had another in stock to exchange. They told us to come down to the store. The cashier took it to the back with our receipt.The manager owner comes out and confronts us with the jacket in the middle of the store with people all around. He immediately raised his voice and stated that this didn’t happen here and he won’t refund it. I said, we only want to exchange for one not stained.He became defensive and very condescending and loud. He called us liars. I told him fine, we would take it up directly with Sitka ourselves and we would never do business there again.In the past, we have purchased guns, scopes, clothing and accessories over the years with no problem.It is sad to see a longtime local business that has succeeded and grown in Longview, based on service, loyalty & trust, take such a drastic transition from the past.To the point that they have now forgot where they came from as well as the local loyal customers who got them there.I hope y’all read this and think twice about doing business there in the future.None of us ever went there because they were cost competitive, we always overlooked the higher price based on service, loyalty & trust.But it’s become evident, that is not who or what they are anymore.Time to start looking for a better option to spend our hard earned money at.Don King / a loyal customer, per their receiptKilgore, TX.

Everyone was very helpful today in my first big gun purchase! They had it wrapped for me upon arrival (Christmas gift), and they helped me pick out accessories to go with it. Even offered to help me carry everything because I was also pushing my son in his stroller.A situation occurred yesterday on my behalf, but the owner was very sweet to forgive me when I jumped to conclusions and said I could go pick up my stuff today. Very sweet!!We will definitely be going back. Thank you Sportsman Outfitters!!Very cheerful staff who are happy to help!

The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make sure your questions are answered and you get what you need. I failed to get the names of the gentlemen who helped me.I got an old compound bow restrung with some new arrows and a release that he gave me a good deal on. I walked out pain less than I had expected. Also another gentleman gave me about 15 minutes to discuss the different cell cams that they offer. Extremely pleased with the service here and will be back as I have need.

I had never been to Winchester but I looked up bow shops near me and they popped up. The owner helped me the first time I went and I came a second time to get a bow tuned and my man Dillon helped a brother out. He was very knowledgeable and highly professional about his job and people skills. I had actually taken my bow to another shop before here and I should have gone to Winchester first. Thank you for a great experience and family friendly atmosphere.

Must start by saying that their product line and selection are absolutely top tier. They don't carry much junk at all. Not the place to go if you're looking for a Hi-point. But their staff could stand to be a little more friendly and welcoming and the prices are a little high.

Very nice store with knowable people. They do not have everything you may want, but they will get it for you. I love the place.I had another great experience with these fine folks. No one is perfect and I do not expect that. The real truth about a company is how they respond when things do go wrong. That was the case here. There was a small mistake made and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I buy local whenever possible. Please check them out before you order online. They have special ordered several items for me at or below the price I could get it online. And they did a nice job of putting on my red dot.Once again, I had another amazing transaction, very quick purchase, check out and paper work on my latest purchase. I went to another place in town and their service was horrible and there was an air of superiority, not at Sportsman Outfitters, down home style of people and service. Please check them out before you make your purchase.

Absolute BEST place to go to for anything archery related! This is the only place I go to for arrows for my recurve and tuning on my compound. I’ve been coming for years and have never been disappointed. Sportsman’s Outfitters offers the best customer service and the highest quality of product. They may not always have the exact gun I'm looking for, but I have been more than pleased with every purchase I make there. I plan on making another one within the next week or 2. I know that I will always be greeted with a smile and, many times, handshakes when I go in there. Everyone, young and old, have always been very helpful to me, even when I tell them upfront that I am simply researching. I hate the ammo situation, but that's nationwide and I understand. Anyway, forever pleased with my neighborhood sporting goods store.
