First time going and I could have spent hours! As a homeschooling Mom who lives in a small town in Minnesota, it was so nice to browse the homeschooling education section. I loved being able to hold the books and flip through pages of books I’ve looked at online. All the staff were friendly and kind.

I don't get to go very often, brought my bf here. And we both really loves this store. Half of the times this is Where we goes to sometimes in Longview.Definitely recommended to all christian lovers from small town to travel here to check it out. They get good deals sometimes and nice things for all ages.

In from out of town to care for our aging parents last week in Longview. I was shopping around for a New American Standard bible with super giant letters....my forever bible that I could read as my eyes are worsening. Parents directed me to Mardels right around the corner from them in Longview. I wasn't able to visit the brick n morter store, so I went online. So easy. So user friendly and most beautiful merchandise.Need Christian merchandise from a place you can trust....Mardels is where you should go. Merry Christmas

This store has a great selection of items. However, the staff are not very friendly and helpful. I was very disappointed. Of all the places to receive good customer service, this location should be amongst the best.

Had been a couple years since I had visited the store. (Good experiences then also). The store had been rearranged since that visit. They have quite a selection, could spend awhile just browsing. The floor people were very friendly and knowledgeable; helped me find just what I was looking for.

I love this store. I could literally sit there for hours reading all the books. This store has thought of everything! Definitely my go too when I am looking for a new book to read, Bible study lessons, and or gifts.

I was checking out and I saw this bag of candy and didn't notice the price tag so I asked the cashier she kinda snapped at me and said it's right there on the bag.but otherwise I love the store and I will keep coming.

Really like this mardels location. Wish they had a self check out because the people working there are not very friendly. You can pass a few and none of them ask if you need anything or at least acknowledge you being in the store.

This is one of my favorite places to shop, hands down. My family enjoys the T-shirts, decor, educational items, bibles, and bookmarks! They even have cute coffee mugs. Something here for everyone, and the employees are so kind!

Good store with friendly staff. We only come here occasionally but have never had any problems. We were using their laminator the last visit for a homemade Christmas present and everything worked well and the staff were very friendly as they helped us figure out how to use it.

I LOVE Mardels as a store. We moved here from Colorado last year and I was super excited to see there was one here in Longview. I have been so disappointed however with the lack of kindness that we receive every time we go. It really feels like the workers dislike children. Every time my children are looking at books or toys there is always an employee or even a manager (the manager was the rudest of all!) that come around tsking, sighing heavily, eyeballing them, making big show about putting things EXACTLY the way they were on the shelf. The manager I mentioned was actually following us around at distance. She even went as far as to grab a miniature buggy that my two year old had found parked next to a shelf (NOT on the display shelf) right out of my two years old hands. He actually started crying. I support Mardels as a whole and buy most of our homeschool and Christian books there but I always dread coming to this store. The cashiers are stone faced, I’ve never had one person in the entire year we’ve been here, speak kindly, ask how we are doing, if we need help. Customer service is non existent unless they are huffing about me bringing children into the store. I think I just may start ordering our things online from now on :(

Mardel is a great place for all your Faith Based Things and they also have arts and crafts, music, clothes etc. But the only thing that I don't like the fact that they don't have a BC Burner anymore. Other than that, it's a great store. Thanks For Reading 😀

Good people!🤗😊bought 2 movies; Story of Samson and Delilah, and Peter. I had my Gizmo babi with me, they let me bring him in ( carried him) because it was too hot to leave him in car. Even for a second.👍😇❤️Praise God!

1st time visitor, great experience, so many selections that I didn't know was available. The have school supplies, huge bible and Christian book selection. Great home decor selection for the family. Jewelry, clothing, gift selection...from what I could see. I was in and out bc I was in a rush, I just went there for a bible, that I was able to add a name got $5 more and bday gift. Can't wait yo go back and walk down every isle next time!

I was in need of Confirmation gifts. I live in Shreveport, LA. I am not aware of any Christian gift shops in my area. Seems they have all closed. So I drove all the way to Longview! I found what I needed! Gifts, gift bags and cards! Beautiful store! Worth the drive! Highly recommend! Thank you Marvel Christian & Education! ✝️

We went looking for a movie today (8/14/2019) and as we were leaving one of the employees asked what we were looking for, I gave her the name of the movie but manager came out and said they didn't have it. He didn't even look in their system to see if they carried the movie. We have never been treated that way before at this location. All your other employees were polite. We will be glad when your Tyler Location opens.

The store usually has what i am after. However, the staff is generally unkind and out of it. In other words, won't go out of their way to help or answer questions. Always seems like you are an inconvenience to them.
