Deena never disappoints. She's sweet, friendly and caring. She's excellent at what she does. She's only open Thursday- Saturday (that's the down size). She's been doing my birthday cakes for 3 years and I love her work and her flavors are exceptional. All of Deena's items are made from scratch; EVERYTHING. She's did lemon cakes with raspberry and a lemon cake with blueberry for me. SHE DIDN'T DISAPPOINT. If you want the best cake around go here. You'll be happy. Her macadamia cookies are to die for. Her blueberry muffins are OMG you must try for yourself, her bread is soooo good. She has some of everything to try. The first cake is my 50th, the cake on the right is my 51st, and the last cake is this year.

Went in today with my wife who is looking for a bakery for cakes for her birthday in June and our anniversary in November.However she has food allergies and STRONG opinions about bake goods and very specific flavors and types of icing.I bought an assortment of cupcakes to try at home for further discussion. I got to see several beautiful cakes picked up by other customers.Check the days and hours they are open.THANKS

I'm a long time customer of La Cabane de Dessert because they never disappoint! I've requested many specialty cakes and desserts with elaborate themes and artwork, and they always turn out even more beautiful and delicious than I ever could have imagined! I always receive so many compliments from guests when I serve their creations! Staff is friendly and amazing to work with. Denna is so very talented! Highly recommend!

Cranberry orange scone was the best I ever had. Also it was different from the usual biscuit-like scone we get in the US. Very unusual and delicious.The salted caramel cookies were great too.Not as big a fan of the brownie. It was rich and well made but somehow the chocolate tasted different. Still good.

The most amazing chocolate/chocolate cupcakes. They are gooey but fully cooked and have a ganache in the middle that isn't too sweet. Everything about that cupcake is right. The chocolate/vanilla cupcakes are good but don't have the gooey factor. They also make fresh bread daily. We tried the focaccia and it was delicious.The owner is super friendly and helpful.

I am a chocoholic so I decided to treat myself to an expertly baked chocolate dessert. As I intensely ate a caramel cookie, the pastry chef shared her passion for the culinary arts in pastries in describing the chocolate, chocolate cupcakes, gluten-free cupcakes and bread. The cupcakes I purchased were as so delicate and delicious they did not make it past the parking lot. This pastry shop is the best kept secret of Longview! You must experience this first hand and if you don’t then , More Cupcakes, Cookies and Bread for me !! 😋😜

Never open except for Thursday- Saturday and who opens at 12 in the afternoon? I mean come on get better hours. Also this place refuses customers because they want to use there items for decorations. It shouldn’t matter what you are buying the product for. Would not recommend this place at all.

Their cupcakes are delicious! Satisfying but not too sweet. They also have homemade fresh bread (no preservatives, which I love). I've only tried it once so far, but it too was amazing.

Best place to have any painting party. The art studio next door can make an art piece to match any cake ordered. Amazing speciality items. I love to stop by with my grandson to grab something off the shelf to paint..the coffe and deserts are unbelievable.

I wanted to try their baked goods and looked it up online and they said they were open, however the sign said otherwise. They should really update their hours online. I dont live in Longview anymore so I cant pop into town anytime i want to since I'm on a schedule. Hopefully their hours would pick up soon. I'm going to the coffee mill in the mean time.

My husband and I picked up a variety of items and enjoyed them all- but if I had to narrow it down to just a few I would say DEFINITELY get some of their bread (focaccia was amazing) and scones.
