Had been backed up to a dock before 6pm its passed 1am and they are still not finished unloading never been to a place that works so slow, its sad when it takes more then 7 hours for 1 trailer that's not even filled all the way with those dollar store noodle pool floaties to get unloaded. unless ur here to drop nd hook don't waste ur whole day in this place terrible job

Everyone was nice. Had me in a door 1 hour before my appointment time. Was empty within an 1 hour. They have overnight parking.

This place is a joke, the coordination and performance of this establishment does not have decent direction or management. All drivers are waiting for this situation to be resolved.

Had a 8 a.m. delivery Arrived at 7:44 a.m. They were backed up with trucks at the security gate. I entered the security area at 8:04 am after waiting. There were other drivers waiting inside as well. By the time security got to me it was 8:11 a.m. The guy was clearly frustrated as I heard hind speaking with a supervisor about them constantly changing policy. They need help here. I was told I couldn’t deliver because I was late. I wanted to show them the other side of me but I kept it professional because clearly they were below my pay grade. The lady in receiving had a attitude and told security to tell me to wait because “I was late”. Technically I was here before time and they need help. I was early and sat and had to wait 7 hours to be unloaded. Worst experience I’ve had in my 9 years of driving. They don’t answer the phone and there’s no one being held accountable. DON’T DELIVER HERE. Not worth the time or money.

Larry and the young woman working the guard shack blew my mind, so nice and wonderful. These guy's need a raise 🙌 and thank you for taking time to help a tired guy out, you went above and beyond.

Please, please pay attention to your appointment time. I had a relay load forced into my schedule while I was under another load. I continued to run the first load as an open scheduled load. I missed an appointment attached to the second load which was a six am appointment and I had a rescheduled appointment for six pm the next day. So pay attention to loads that are forced into your schedule.

Exceptional...wow, wow, wow! They were absolutely amazing to me. The receiving manager took me in a day early and I was in and out before I got to relax and lay on my bunk. It was so fast I was shocked. They have separate restrooms for women and men (once you go to turn in your paperwork), and they are clean!!! They provide second to none service. Thanks DG😁😁😁I forgot to add that my truck was clean when she was done!!! A special applause 👏 👏 👏 to the wonderful lady on the 1st shift receiving desk...woo..hoo!!

In & out always like coming here. They have parking in the front when u pull in, get out walk to guard shack and present your BOL and u drop your trailer pick up and mt and your done.

Staff at the security gate were excellent. Typical drop trailer at door and disconnect DC shuffle. Make sure you go in the correct shipping or delivery gate. A little less than 3 hours on 7/14/23. Definitely not bad as far as distribution centers go 🤙

avoid this place at all cost, dont come here, otherwise you’ll be wasting the whole day and its not over exaggerating. bring lunch, dinner, breakfast and whatever you can, if you come here. BOYCOTT this facility. walmart compare to this place is super fast, even the worst ones. guards at the guard shack nice, but that wont just cut it, when you have to spend all day to get unloaded. NEVER AGAIN will come to this place. but they do have staging area for truckers.

Arrived an hour early for my 1800 appt. Given a door right away. Staff was friendly. Got the green light just before 2100 and they allowed overnight parking. FYI, entrance is driveway on left just before the light. Don't leave a mess so drivers can continue to stay. Trash cans by light poles. USE THEM!

Worst job I’ve ever had! Retention rate is higher than high! All the supervisors are lazy and expect workers to be slaves while they stand/walk around doing nothing! Pay isn’t equivalent to the work! Performance is based off who kisses up to the supervisor. Plenty of workers who haven’t been fired but don’t do anything!!!!!! Don’t even apply!

When coming down the street if DG is on your left, use the 1st driveway you come to. (Its hard to see the driveway signs.) Park in staging area & walk the bills to the gaurd shack. I arrived at 11:30 for my 12:00appt. Got a dock door by 14:00 SMH unloaded by15:30.SMHThe Lady working security was awesome. She walked down to my truck to get me in the hot heat of the day because my phone wasn't working well. The Receiving Manager was nice & helpful. Clean restroom & drivers lounge area was a plus also. This place would be the best if they could fix the long wait time for unloading.

It's always easier to see negative reviews than positive ones. My first experience here and it was amazing. I arrived 9 hours early than my appointment time. Asked the guard shack of I could park in the lot and stay at my house since I live 2iles from this place. He told me to get some sleep and see me in the morning. Got a dock 2 hours before my time.. I can't complain. Thanks for helping locals team. Keep up the good work

I just wanted to leave a special review for Carlos Camacho, who checked me in today. He was very professional and was able to get my truck unloaded a lot faster than I thought. I was in and out of the Dollar General facility in a total of 45 mins. I'm not sure if other people have had this experience, but I did, and I can say that I am impressed with this warehouse. I am a Dart Express driver.

We would like to tell the yard guys that operate the yard jockeys thank you, our tech was out working on a road call on your yard and your guys seen our guys working and the heat was getting to him, they brought him water to help cool him off so he could finish his job! Great job! We appreciate you looking out for our guys.

This place is trash to work at! Save yourself! You won't be promoted based on your work ethic! It's specifically based on favoritism and this place is trash!!! You can work very hard but it's no use this place only advances who they want!. I was fired because I spoke up for myself and my work ethic ! They are terrible leaders and show favoritism!!! This place by far is the worst place to come and get unloaded. Been her since 8 and still no signs of them being finished it is now 3:25 one can only assume it's being run by chimps. Called the number they provided for you to call in case you ain't out of your dock after two guaranteed hrs your gonna be waiting and yet to have any living soul answer the phone. Will never deliver to this place again. You got a load afterward there is a big chance you gonna be late to it.

This center has the slowest workers to unload the trucks. The tatted up lady took at least 5 cigarettes breaks. Why can’t they unload the truck and don’t stop until finished. My time is of the essense, my drive time is still dwindling down giving me less timeTo get to next location. Wasters of time, they just talking- not working. The restroom is disgusting. The security is mannerble., easy to find location.

I wish I could give no stars! This is one of the worst companies they hire liability veterans to train new drivers. I was just recently injured by a incompetent veteran by the name of Reagan White, now I'm going through physical therapy, I couldn't complete my training due to being injured by the trainer. And as of today May 24th 2023 I have been tossed to the side and not paid for the past 2weeks. Considering the injury wasn't even my fault I'm now suffering career wise and financially, thanks to Reagan White's negligence and No company support from Dollar General I would not recommend working for this company at all.

Im so tired of companies like this… who already have substandard logistics policies to worsen the issue on put it on truck drivers. Causing a driver to wait over 5 hours with still no dock assignment for being late 20 mins is absurd. To add further insult, the security guard/clerk (she hasn’t realized that yet) proudly stated that if your 1 minute late, it’s automatically a work in! So you mean, the mistakes of others has now cost me the rest of my day! Newsflash, my job supports the supply chain and the economy… holding drivers for hours over a few minutes is beyond! Why, in the time it took to explain that BS, I could have been unloaded and on to the next customer in need of a driver! Then look surprised when drivers get to cussing out everybody!!?!? Thanks for the parking spaces here. It comes in very handy after the 10 hour timeframe to get unld.

So beware drivers. We arrived at 9:23 am for a 10 am appointment. Received a call for dock door at 10 am. At dock door, ready to be unloaded at 10:13 am. Red light went on at 10:40 am. Received green light at 12:12 pm. Pulled forward paperwork in trailer, but no load straps. Load required 4 load straps, non left in trailer. Called number provided, went to a voice mail. Went to receiving door found someone to help. Opened dock door, and no load straps anywhere. The young lady went looking for them. Finally a Manager arrived who stated, "straps are picked up and sent to shipping to be used on outbound loads." Finally after 45 minutes, manager returned with 4 load straps. Not the 4 new load straps we provided for this load. So beware drivers, get your load straps oui before you dock. We were lucky to get something back.

Great people and place to deliver to! They let me deliver 36HRS before my appointment time! Staging area in front of gate! Overnight! Parking available! 4hrs to unload but well worth the wait! Thanks again Dollar General security and staff for your hospitality and respect for us Truck Drivers!!

Our appointment was at 11am ... checked in when we got there at 7am ... got a call at 1115am with a door number ... was completed with a signed BOL 115pm same day ... not sure what all the negative reviews are for but for us there was no problems 😊

Pack a lunch. If you have only one commodity (preferably water), then they are pretty fast. Like less than 2 hours to get unloaded. However, a mixed load will take up to 5 to 8 hours. No joke. All DG Distributions are terrible in my opinion. This isn't the worse I've been to. I think DGD in Ardmore, OK is hands down the absolute worse on earth. It doesn't matter what's on your truck.
