Nice place, friendly, knowledgeable staff.. I do Machine Learning and AI deployment. Needed a big ol power supply, they did not have anything even close. To be fair neither did anyone else.

Accidentally hit my Starlink Cat-6 cable with the mower and was about to have to spend over $100 on a new cable. They were able to fix my cable and splice it back together in just a few minutes for less than $10 which made me very happy!

I Built my first gaming PC with parts from CPU when they were located in S. Longview back in 1995, that box lasted me for years. The next PC was a pre-built (2004) that I nursed until 2012 when I again built a High-End Gaming machine with all parts from CPU.Here it is 12 years later and THAT PC has never failed in ANY way! Now I've decided to build one last Gaming PC and I'm writing this review because I had to move away and the town I live in has NO Computer stores that come close to what I was used to and I really miss being able to SEE & TOUCH the products I'm buying, not just see a picture online! I also miss the knowledgeable staff with advice & recommendations. I've now lost my nerve a decided to buy another "Pre-Built" from "CyberPowerPC". <sigh> A big shout out to Murray & Keen!

Will try to charge you a minimum 2.5 hours for anything from a build, to a simple windows install. The best buy down the road is cheaper. And anyone can learn what these guys know from watching youtube videos.

Been going here for years. Staff is always helpful. My system had crashed and I was going to pay for a full copy of Windows 10 Pro. They let me know that my windows key is stored in my bios. They said I could pay a fraction of what I was about to spend and get my system back up and running.

I had to sell my computer before moving and they were great. I dropped it off, and they assessed it and called me back with their offer. They were able to mail me the check to my new address 1700+ miles away. Wonderful interaction with all staff and would recommend them to anyone needing to buy or sell equipment.

Great guys. They are very helpful and polite able to answer any question I had and not a bad hourly rate as repairs go... Sometimes parts are more expensive that you think. Other times they are cheaper than one might expect. Not their fault if a $500 job could have been avoided by a simple $9 wristband. That was on me 😂. Still good people.

The owner is as unprofessional as he is short. He ignored questions I asked him, charged me for 4 hours of work when three of his employees told me it would only take two hours at the max, and tried to tell my mother she couldn’t pay for the work after she questioned the price. He also yelled at his employee in front of me, made him clock out early for one mistake, and was extremely disrespectful towards me. All of his employees are extremely respectful and nice, it’s only the con-artist of an owner that caused issues.

CPU I'm sure is a great establishment, but the customer service and systems of their business are not worthy of anything above an one star review. I went in there with one part in mind- a CPU cooler. Though the selection was limited their associate, eagerly wanting to help, kept urging me to get one of their two liquid coolers left on the shelf. He ensured it would be perfect for my system and no one has ever has had a problem with it. I expressed my concern for it not fitting my board, yet he persisted. After buying the item and going home to see the manual showing me IT'S NOT COMPATIBLE, I returned the item (probably 20 mins after buying). During this return, a mound of grief and attitude was unnecessarily given from a different associate who demanded the 8% restocking fee and indirectly insulted my buying decisions while defending his other associate... when all I asked for was a simple return because it wasn't the right fit. Best Buy was much more useful.

Brandon & Rook went above and beyond! They provided exceptional customer service and shared so much knowledge. The prices here are reasonable when it comes to computer parts and the staff is great! The remodel is coming along nicely and Donut the dog is a nice touch. We will always recommend CPU Longview.

Do not come here for service, they are con artists. Needed an OS installed onto an SSD, which shouldn't take very long. So I pay them their required $60 for the first hour of labor (this phrasing is important), which is already a little egregious for such a task. Then I wait a few days and found out they charged me an extra $100 since it somehow took 2.5hrs for Windows to install. So you're charging $50/hr while you literally do other things while Windows does its thing. Outrageously expensive for such a menial task. Do not come to this store, they will charge you insane rates. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but this is a bad one.

Generally speaking this place does excellent work, and very quickly. This time I came in with what I thought was an unsolvable problem, and that turned out to be the case. After a week of being without my laptop, I had to pick it up without it being repaired. I didnt have much hope for it anyway. I will still go to them for service; they really are very good at what they do.

I went there to buy a modem. Unfortunately they only had one in stock. But the customer service was wonderful, I was greeted as I came in the door and helped immediately. I got distracted when I saw something about HDMIs as I was looking to get a plug splitter. I had been looking at the cables and explained I had hoped they'd have HDMI plug splitters as I run 4 devices on a TV with 2 ports. The gentleman who helped me find the modem also helped me pick out one of those.TL;DR- Good customer service, very helpful and prompt

bought pc hear 3 years ago,great experience. recently, 7-30-2020 took external hard drive for service, not only could they not get my data they could not put it back together properly.pc shop in New Boston had no problem getting my data. They had recently changed some staff and the knowledge base wasn't there. Couldn't even put hard drive back appropriately

Took my comp in for repairs and was told it would take 3-5 days, 2 weeks later still no word. Finally figured out the problem, they had lost the computer and work ticket. After that they wanted $250 to replace the motherboard but needed to order it and it would be another 7-10 days for that. Tired of getting the run around i took it to FCI in longview and it was fixed for $70 and ready for pickup the next morning. Turns out the motherboard was not the problem.

All of my experiences have been wonderful and their prices are very competitive. Going there today to pick up a part I need for one of my computers. I gave then 5 stars because every time I have a question and I don't know the "computer jargon" they are always super helpful.P.S. You have to love anonymous 1 start reviews

I paid to get my Dell laptop analysed, then fixed. I paid for expedited services that was about $95.00. The tech told me my keyboard would to be replaced, that was $55.00. It took about a week to receive my back laptop. I did not mind spending the money because it was finals week. To my horror the keyboard is bouncy or spongy. In addition,I kept getting an error message concerning a essay I had been working on. When I sent an email to the store manager and owner I believed that they would fix the problems. Instead when I returned to the store to works things out with the owner he did not introduce himself, I had to guess who he was, then he called a tech over and left.No apology for the poor quality or anything!Next the tech told me that it would cost me an ADDITIONAL $185.00 to find out why the error message was happening. ( I had previously asked if I need this service when I asked about the keyboard and was told no.) For the grand total that was being asked for I could have purchased one from Walmart. Devastated and crying I picked my computed back up. Finally as I write this review I have to go back and insert spaces between my words because of the flimsy quality of the keyboard. I eventually had to purchase a smaller laptop to get through the end of the semester. This was in March in Longview when the shut down began. Best Buy and CPU were the only "quality computer store that I knew of. I hope this helps someone.

Went in here looking for a SSD for my newer laptop on Thursday at 6:15 or so. The guy at the counter was VERY helpful and assisted me in a new bigger SSD and USB enclosure to clone my old SSD to the new one. Thank you to you guys. It's hard to find knowledgeable people like this anymore. His instructions worked perfectly. Best Buy actually sent me to the right place.

I used CPU in Longview regularly when I was a supervisor there for CSI. I bought all of our Cat5 cables, DB-9 cables, and other accessories that were needed. Very knowledgeable staff and willing to accommodate you in any way. Their cables are high grade and long lasting. Great place for all of your electronics needs.

CPU offers great customer service and network installation services. They have a great team and carry a lot of electronic components most stores like best buy etc will not carry in store outside their websites. One of my favorite stores in Longview.

I don't know where these bad reviews are coming from. I have dealt with this store for 4 years and never had one issue. Purchased 3 Computers and one very nice laptop from them as well. They have worked on my Alienware machine twice and fixed it both times with not much of a wait time and very reasonable on the price. No reason this store should get anything less than 5 stars

I have plenty of reasons for the 1 star but I will cut it short. The employees weren’t nice at all and the prices are way to high. They wanted to charge me $150 for a one time fix but I took it to geek squad and got an account with them for $200 and they give me unlimited service for a year. I’d shut this place down if I was the boss.

Ill be honest, I was a little concerned letting anyone touch my computer. I build my own systems, and of course im very protective of it. But, I didnt have the tools to see what was wrong this time. Also my family Did have some issues with CPU way back in the day (Years and years ago)...However this experience completely turned me around!After a storm my system got fried, I was terrified that I had lost everything. I took it to CPU, let them know exactly what I needed. They didnt question it, or try to push for additional services... They were professional, courteous, and got everything checked out way before their listed turn around time.They called me to let me know what was wrong, Thankfully the power supply only, and offered to replace it (I was originally cautious about having anyone replace anything in my system). I agreed, and they gave me a supply that was very well priced and had it finished within the hour of the call.I will definitely recommend them in the future.
