Super friendly and helpful staff. They didn't have a tool I was looking for but the service department used his adjustment tool and quickly adjusted what I needed and got me back out working quickly.

Staff wasn't friendly, The prices were overpriced, Last week I bought 3 hinges 6" and it was almost $ 75.00 , and I need to mention the cashier lady was so upset because I went to return those , and she said the package was open, Of Course 🤷, they return my money but not my taxes, Keep in mind people !!!!, there are more place out 👎👎

Everything we go they are friendly and helpful. We just moved to Lockhart and the staff was very welcoming to us. I am sure we will visit there soon again.

Went in looking for a hammer since I forgot mine at home. Asked Jacob for help. He took me straight to them . Great, helpful young man. Also an older gentleman with white hair. Very helpful. Helped me find everything I needed. Very knowledgeable of what I asked and even shared a couple of stories with me. It's that small town Texas charm . 10 out of 10.

Went in to grab a piece of wood. Staff wasn't friendly. When checking out (1 item), staff stopped to speak with another staff member, and the piece of lumber we purchased was $2 more than the store in Luling. We'll make the trip to the Ace in Luling from now on.

Good people, bought propane the other day, price was over 6 dollars a gallon. Talked to the owner he said it was an error and made it right. But there price is still 4.89 a gallon. Way to high. There distributor sells it for 3.24 a gallon. Money is money.

Solid local hardware store. Items might be a dollar or two cheaper at Home Depot, but Lockhart Ace is RIGHT HERE. Buy local! Nice store. UPDATE: I really like shopping here.

I love this hardware store the staff is friendly it's a great place to find the unusual. I guess I'm just weird I love hardware store there's something about them that reminds me of my childhood. And this one definitely takes me back

8/19/20- needed a replacement shop light fixture for the garage. Shopped local first. Ace had what I needed at a very reasonable price. Customer service was friendly and efficient. Sometimes it pays to avoid the big box placed.

Came in for a torch, found an associate "Tina" stocking items. Figured she could help, I said "Good Morning" 2 times before a response. When I did get one it was more of a face of like why are you bothering and what do you want. I asked if they had Rochester and where could I find them. She said "she didn't think they had any, hadn't got any in a while. Isle 21 if YOU wanna check." I checked there were about 6-7 different options. Grabbed what I needed, and went to the counter. There was Tina, for some reason she was almost trying to rush me out the there pusing the receipt into my hands and not even giving me an when I asked "if I could get my receipt emailed" she didn't like that for some reason just hastily turned the kiosk around and clicked done and "there Thank youuuu" eith this weird attitude as if though I was disturbing her peace. I just needed a torch 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

My parents gifted us a Propane Fire Pit for Christmas. We picked it up in the store and upon assembly realized it was defective. My husband returned it today only to be told they don't do returns on the spot he had to leave it and they would do all the returns either tonight or tomorrow and my father's credit card would then be refunded. My husband several times demanded a receipt to which he was told, "I wrote on your original receipt that it needs to be canceled." He again said we're not canceling the order we are returning it, and would like a refund receipt. She said she would "probably" get to it tomorrow and would take his number down and call him when it's done. This is absurd. We are heading out of town so we had no choice but to take her word with a 30 day return policy it would be beyond the return period if we waited! If it's not refunded tomorrow we will be contacting corporate.

I purchased a new Stihl trimmer fs131r. Nothing came with it. No booklet. NOTHING. No adjustment tools. I asked for a blade kit and was given a plastic sleeve washer. I’m not impressed with the service I was given for the amount of money I spent. Now I have to drive 16 miles to take my chances of them correcting the issue or not. I thought I’d support local but I should have gone to a real Stihl dealership.Update: I went back and was given another “incomplete “ blade kit without the washer or blade guard and told that is how they are selling them now. They had no clue what the plastic sleeve I was given the first time even went to. So I came back home and put the blade on. Within 15 minutes the blade was loose. I called Stihl and explained everything and they told me to stop using the trimmer and to take it back and I was told that was not the correct kit I was sold. They are going to contact me after they get in touch with ace to correct the dangerous situation.
