I LOVE HEB AS MUCH AS I LOVE SMALL TOWN GOSSIP!I had been looking forward to stepping foot on Texas soil and visiting my favorite Texas grocery store, HEB, for the last 4 months!I Was a regular shopper at the HEB in Bastrop. Then I moved to Georgetown and was a regular shopper at the 3 HEBs in Georgetown!While staying in Lockhart, this weekend for a family wedding, I went to the local HEB. It wasn’t the HEB, I’m use to shopping at. It was much smaller and older. That part wasn’t a big deal, because Lockhart has a smaller population and that store has been in the same location for a long time. I went in to grab some flowers to bring to a local friend of mine, that invited TV (The Villain, my husband Ray) over for a BBQ. I was also going to grab strawberry shortcake fixin’s. I went to pick out flowers and half of the selection was wilted. There was a young lady vacuuming the floral section, that clearly saw me waiting to peruse the rest of the flowers. She took her sweet a$$ time vacuuming. I patiently waited. When she was finished, she shot me a snotty irritated look. I’m not sure if she was mad that she had to vacuum or that I patiently waited. This is NOT the customer service I’m use to receiving from HEB! That was the first time I saw an HEB employee unhappy to be working at HEB! I was as confused as a fart in a fan factory! (Personally I’ve always dreamed of working at an HEB, if Ray aka TV (The Villain) divorces me. I would move myself right back to Texas and work at an HEB)The good news is, this HEB carry’s a lot of my favorite HEB products! They carry my Cobb Salad, that I use to eat at least 3 times a week! Their tortilla chips with Sea Salt! Their Ice Cream is to die for!!! Their coffee! I could write a novel about HEB products, but I don’t have time. Bottom line; HEB has great prices and products! Hence their name HEB (Here Everything’s Better)!I’ve missed you HEB!!!!PS. I would love an HEB t-shirt, I wear a women’s size mediumSSDGM,Elaine

This HEB isn't good at all.In less than a month, I've had to return most to all my items from 3 seperate trips. I never returned items to HEB before coming to this store.They're curbside doesn't pay much attention to the orders either. I've used curbside for years and never had such a bad experience like I've had with this store, and didn't even get my FULL REFUND from the curbside order.I maybe too picky after being a Lead at the HEB warehouse, but it's sad to know I can't trust my local HEB 😔

I love this H E B!! It's pretty small compared to others around but I love that. Other H E B stores are always overly crowded. This one has never been overcrowded when I was there. I can shop more peaceful.

I have always loved shopping at my local HEB, but they have really made it even more exciting to shop as they've increased the amount of exotic fruits & vegetables they get in.UPDATE: Have found my FAVORITE ice cream, only sold at HEB, Creamy Creations: Coconut, Almond, Chocolate Chip. The creaminess is so smooth, but the right amount of crunchiness mixed within, you're sure to have a crunch with every bite!Their Sushi Station will also create a personal tray of your choice!UPDATE: They have real up their game on the house plants they sell!

Marvelous sized store to accommodate the town of Luling, TX. Awesome customer service, many items to choose from and way laid out plan of store for a quick stop or take your time

I always enjoy going to HEB whenever I'm in Lockhart. They have good service and prices. I only wish they'd come to Grand Prairie

Pretty dimly lit grocery store. Produce selection is humongous but pretty much everything else is what you would find at any other grocery store. The atmosphere and bright lights in any Kroger store would make this location look pretty bad. I have been in several HEBs and it's pretty much the same. Comparing this to the standard HEB, it is maybe a little less stocked which one could expect in a fairly remote location near South Padre Island. I guess I just don't get what the craziness is about this chain, and I was born and raised in Texas!

I'm writing H-E-B 5 stars but I'm letting everybody know that a lot of their produce already has mold on it so be very careful I don't know what they're doing or if it's just too long or if it's the employees but every time I buy fruits at HEB different locations there's always mold in them

HEB is a great place to shop. Even when it is crowded with people in the holidays - the shopping experience is great! Friendly personnel always. The exceptional food choices is fantastic! I love it!

After navigating the Thanksgiving morning bustle in a parking lot full of cars, we entered the store and were able to locate everything we needed to buy. The service was friendly & the cashier was very engaging.

Parking really isn't as bad as people say. I think they just want parking available to them in the front of the store. Park in back, walk a few steps, it's not that bad. Store is busy but has a good selection. I agree that employees could be a little nicer. But either way I'll get my groceries and still be happy.

Curbside is the way to go! I can pick up groceries in one hour if I pay $4.95-7.95, certain times, days. I usually have enough time for free curbside, but weekends are tighter. I typically get all that need, sometimes spending $250 and well, I guess there's no limit!! Thanks, HEB! I appreciate it!! Also, if you run out of Ozarka water, you can refill a 5 gallon for $1.50 on the left side of HEB until your water guy comes!! It tastes good!! Stay hydrated!

There is a HEB Gas station there. Great Store. I believe there are cheaper bagels at HEB than Walmart.

We had a basket full of groceries! From my own personal experience of working in retail, seeing the cashier alone at first I felt really bad for her having to ring up all our items but Ms. Anita was very kind and fast paced! At first there wasn’t a bagger present so I started bagging but before I got to the third bag another lady worker jumped in. They both were very fast paced, had nice teamwork, and were careful with our items. Overall it was a good experience shopping at H-E-B!

I have noticed a better seafood selection recently and they just added a new fridge section with new prepped meals ready to bake at this location. Good selections on produce. We went to the customer service center to request they carry a product I needed and it was there by the next week!

Obviously we love our HEB and best place in Lockhart for groceries but unfortunately we outgrew this facility and would love a bigger location with more of HEB selection of goods & services.

I really hate to make this review but I feel as if more people do not voice this, then it will not change. The associates are always friendly but this store is just absolutely to small for this town. The parking lots is accidents waiting to happen. The whole set up down to the location of the pharmacy drive thru. We need change at Lockhart HEB!

HEB food stores dominate Texas groceries for good reason! The HEB in Lockhart is due for an update, the inside shows its age, but the prices, selection, and overall quality experience continue to overwhelm the competition. HEB rocks!Keep those human cashiers and baggers please -- I'm not a fan of self check out!

Love HEB, but they keep taking things off the shelf I've been buying for years. Rath hot dogs, Hillshire Farms lunch meat, fresh coffee beans just to name a few. Now carry large quantity items and don't have small quantity items (cheese sticks, jalapeño poppers, etc)

always seems crowded, self check out machines often need cashier to fix them..... Nice bathrooms. the one thing I can say about this place is that compared to Luling HEB it has a lot more selection and a pharmacy and pick up service/delivery.

Very unpleasant customer service from an HEB employee. We went this morning to buy wine for a pasta recipe. Maria V in line 4 asked for an ID, we gave her a Mexican passport, which has been accepted EVERYWHERE. She didn’t want to accept just because she didn’t recognize the type of passport. Very hypocritical of her when she spoke perfect Spanish.
