Don't see how they are rated at 4.2, because nobody there knows the inventory, I worked at a business just like this and we had people in each station that knew what they were doing, should be proud about your job and try to learn about it just don't be there because it's a check!!!!

Still not happy with them. I can tell you one thing if you have hands that work with you and are new to the crew don't take them with you! If they steal from the store you will go to jail! Even when they have cameras and can clearly see it is a completely different person who did it.

In my 8 visits everyone has been super friendly... as in saying hello when they see you walking through the aisles but I definitely think that they may be overstaffed I've never been in there when there's been less than six employees standing at the register with maybe only 2 people actually checking customers out.The prices are not too much higher than the bigger stores in Lubbock... and when they have things on sale and clearance you can find some really awesome deals at this Ace. My biggest frustration especially when buying plants is my receipt never seems to match the amount of products that I bought.Example last week I bought 4 plants 1 can of paint and 1 bag of soil when I got to my car to look at my receipt... it had me purchasing 10 items not 6 items.When I went in to ask about my receipt the young lady told me that oh those are the plants. The plants that I bought where listed at 3 bucks each and instead of just ringing them up for $3 each actually ended up charging me a $1.49 four times and then $0.59 four times and when I explained to her that amount doesnt add up to the price they are marked. she didn't really seem to understand. Or care that she was charging me almost $1.00 less than with the actual plant cost on sale. She basically told me nobody returns plants it's not that big a deal go ahead and take them.If I was the owner of the ace I wouldn't be very happy if I was giving product away.

Management is rude. Very few employee's are helpful - not familiar with inventory, unable to locate merchandise, lack of basic knowledge expected from hardware store, prices are extremely high. I shop there only out of necessity, to avoid an out of town trip or item unavailable at all other locations in town or in a need it right now situation. When asked, I do not recommend this business.

Wish I got the young man's name that helped me find the cracked corn. He was great. Rest of the help acted like they were put out with him for stopping what he was doing and help me. Except for the young man the rest of help was food. Including the employee that needed to check out before me.

Husband had worked there. I go to Josh for help. Very kind person. Way high turnover wonder if this is for Govt credit?! Alotra personnel dont really seem to help customers. Cindy Asdt store mgr. She works hard. Always wonder why she isnt lead store Mgr. Very hones...very dependable.

I sent my wife to get some cattle and chicken feed a month ago.They didnt even help my wife carry the 50 lb bags out to car.Made her do it.Then one day a tearcher I had in school who 89 years old on a walker was trying to exit the door and not one employee would help her,so I ran over to help her with her bags.I can belive Roger Lowe would let this go on if he seen this.Other than that its really a good place.

We hate this place. Shopping here should be avoided at all cost. The Lowes monopolies on the fact that the town has few options for home repair or maintenance needs so they tripple the prices on EVERYTHING knowing we dont have anywhere else within 40 miles to buy these items. The employess dont know anything about hardware and have no knowledge of any kind of home or commercial repairs and or maintenance at all. Dont waste or time or money. Make the drive to Lubbock.

I live in a neighboring town. My store had run out of the paint I was using and suggested I go to Littlefield since they carried the same paint. I showed up with my one week old empty paint can. The color formula information clearly visible on the lid. The clerk insisted that I had to buy clark & Kensington paint instead of the more expensive Ace Royal paint since it was a Clark & Kennsington "color". I insist that I had just purchased it a week earlier and it was no problem then. The only option offered was to switch brands and the excuse was that my store must have a different system. (They don't) I explained I was not switching brands halfway thru a project. All I got was "sorry". No attempt to sell me the product I had made a 50 mile round trip for. Not impressed.Follow up. After complaining thru the Ace Hardware web site, I was contacted by the store manager who has promised to make this right. They apparently have lots of new help. I feel better about the situation.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in looking for something and couldn't find it and all the employees standing around talking. If you don't want horrible customer service go shop in lubbock.

Expensive on most things, but only place in town to carry lumber.. Wish we had a place like Nelson'S Hardware back. He had everything an really good prices
