Dr Tadlock is one of the friendliest and most thorough vets we’ve found. We’ve been taking our cats to him for over 5 years, and followed him to his new practice (Livewell).Livewell has a large and roomy waiting area so animals aren’t on top of each other, and the rooms are very well kept. The staff are also friendly and ready to help.Highly recommended!!

Amazing clinic, awesome staff, and extremely accommodating!!! My dog was a patient of Dr. Tadlock's for years and was so happy to have found him at his new place. His care and attention for the fur babies is top notch. Also, his patience with pet owners is amazing and really takes the time to get to know you and your pet. He makes you feel extremely comfortable and answers all questions thoroughly. One can leave there knowing that they got the best care and treatment.

Dr Tadlock is one of the few veterinarians I will take my pets. He unfortunately moved further away from me; however, I will still continue to use him. It is worth the drive to get a solid, caring, thorough perspective on treatment. There is nothing but good to say about Dr Tadlock, and I highly doubt ever will be. The staff was very caring and invested also. Congrats on your new practice!For perspective: I have 5 dogs, 3 of which are older with heart issues or seizures. He, hands down, has saved my dog with seizures life. And, he has provided care to the others that is always spot on. If you have the option to see Dr Tadlock, do yourself and your pet(s) a favor and go! Selfishly, I only pray he will not get too busy to help us when needed.

Took my dog here for suspected worms. The staff was exceptionally kind to us! I’ve tried a few vets in the area and this is by far the best. The vet tech was super kind and apologetic for the wait (which was not bad) and the vet Dr. Tadlock was super friendly! They really care about your pups here.

Dr. Tadlock is a very knowledgeable veterinarian with a great skill set. His medicine is on key. He has performed many very successful surgeries on several of our pets. His thought process and drive to do the very best he can for your pet do not go unnoticed.He has helped us out with a pup with a head tilt that another veterinarian said had a neurological problem and needed an MRI. It ended up an inner ear infection cured with medication. His staff is friendly, knowledgeable and kind.If you are looking for a great veterinarian and staff, you need to go to Livewell Animal Hospital. You won't be disappointed.

I took one of my dogs in for a dental. Zeke is a senior and i was very nervous because i had to put one of my dogs down a couple of weeks ago. The staff and Dr. Tadlock were so kind and understanding of my feelings. Zeke came through like a champ. No after affects and one day later he is happy and healthy. I cannot thank Dr. Tadlock and his team enough. The care and compassion they have for owners and pets is phenomenal. So happy i found this wonderful practice.

We recently switched to Livewell from a different vet clinic and have been really pleased with our experience. I have 5 dogs and so far two have received treatment. They neutered our puppy and ran routine bloodwork and provided an RX refill for another. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They listen and do a very thorough exam but aren’t pushy with suggestions. I am really glad we switched.

Dr. Tadlock and his staff are amazing. They are attentive and can think outside the box when it comes to our fur family. They got my pup in at the last minute right before closing. Dr. Tadlock and Dr. Thompson are the bestDMV's iv'e ever been to. They take their time with your pet as well as with you. They never rush and they actually care about your pet's well being. I have tried several vet's around and Livewell Animal Hospital and the DMV's are realy the best in town. We had THE BEST first experience at Livewell with our new pups! We were patients of Dr. Tadlock from his previous clinic, and did not think twice about moving with him. The clinic is beautiful. Everything you could want from a vets office has been thought of and designed into the clinic. Little Elm is very lucky to have this new practice. We love Dr. Tadlock and the rest of the staff were wonderful as well.

Dr. Tadlock was an incredible find; he's exceptionally compassionate, not only for his furry patients but for his patients' parent(s) too. Doc has been our vet for several years now and has seen us through instances of new puppies through end of life. I trust Doc implicitly; he is not one to order unnecessary tests and he clearly communicates the issue at hand and always partners with us on options for the right course of treatment in times of illness.It's important to note that Dr. Tadlock recently opened his own practice of Livewell Animal Hospital in Little Elm, in Fall 2023. Doc personally designed the layout of his clinic with his patients at the forefront of every decision and from Doc's previous years practicing at other clinics and making mental note of what works, what doesn't work, and what his dream clinic ought to have. In addition to the modern front lobby and comfortably appointed treatment rooms most patients see, there's a dedicated end of life/bereavement room designed for the comfort for the patient and the patient's family, including a separate door to exit immediately into the parking lot. In addition, the back half of the clinic includes a separate, rear-entrance to a treatment & holding area for patients who have highly contagious illnesses, there's a technologically-modern operating room detailed to ensure sterility during each procedure, as well as a separate dental procedure room, etc.If you're looking for a new vet, please give Dr. Tadlock and his amazing staff an opportunity to meet you and your furbaby - I'm confident you'll immediately see how down to earth Doc is, as well as his passion for helping both people and animals.
