They do an amazing job with my dog. He is always treated well. He comes home with light fluffy fur and smells amazing. They always take the extra time to groom and trim him the way we like. The pricing is very reasonable and quality is excellent.

To pay $108:00, and not bathe my cat was a bit disappointing. Not even blowing the hair off of her. Her bag was full of chunks of hair. I had to brush myself off from the amount of hair while holding her. This is the second time it happened. The first time. I let it slip.My only complaint

9/16/23 UPDATE: Thank you Misty for taking such sweet care of my babies yet again today!!! We ALL love coming to see you Furry Friends Pet Parlour Grooming, Daycare and Boarding Services.Friends, if you’re looking for true loving care for your fur babies, please check her out for your pet care needs. She is so gentle and loving to my aging girl and patient with my hyper Bosty. She’s even offered advice to help with minor ailments by natural remedies, which has saved me a ton of vet bills!! She is extremely patient and takes extra time when my sassy girl starts acting like Stevie Wonder every time Misty works on her face. 🤣 She turns her head side to side just to be difficult and Misty will take the time to still get the cut to look as great as it always does. I promise she will not disappoint!! 💕🐾🐾|Would not allow anyone else to care for my baby girl. Grooming is flawless and easy on her and the boarding services are top notch (be ready for the holiday trips)!!! Look no further. Love Misty and Furry Friends crew!

I have been a dog owner all of my life but NEVER have I EVER experienced the attentiveness, kindness, and patience that I receive from Misty, owner of Furry Friends, and her associates. Since taking my dog, who has special needs, to say the least, to Furry Friends, not only has he become accustomed to his surroundings, and he is very timid, but he has also found the ONLY person he feels comfortable enough being with while I am away. Misty is the REAL DEAL DOG WHISPERER too, and it is obvious from the get go that she loves what she does. She is an incredible person with unbelievable skills and I am proud to say God has blessed me with a good friend, which is the icing on the cake, so to speak!So if you care at all about the people you entrust when caring for your babies, Furry Friends is your option. You will NOT be disappointed..ever!

If you are from out of town, don't intend to use this groomer regularly, or just don't like dishonest groomers, don't go here! They ripped me off for $140.Sat. Dec 23rd, I called to get appointments for 30 pound Australian Shepherd and an 8 pound YorkiPoo. They don't make appointments. They said it is first come first serve, which, I found out, is NOT good for the animals as they sit in kennels for HOURS.I dropped them off around 10 am and asked how long. The girl said they will text you and let you know when they're done. I am from out of state and visiting so I needed some idea and a head's up so she said she would text me an hour before they were done. (THAT didn't happen.)I had told the young girl who checked us in that the last groomer (from another state) had left small mats in her arm pits. The girl acted shocked and said that area is something they automatically tend to. (they didn't)It had been 3.5 hours and I had heard nothing so I called for an update. No answer. Had to leave message. I finally got a reply some time later that they were ALMOST ready to be next.WHAT? 3.5 hours they have been sitting in that very LOUD environment? And it is LOUD with a lot of dogs barking from every which direction. My dogs have been vaxed but I am suspicious if they even read the papers I had texted. If they had read it, they would not have kept referring to my Aussie as DUMBO. His name is Gumbo and it is on every paper that they should be checking thoroughly. Kennel cough can spread fast and if these rushed groomers are not checking that every dog has had Bordetella shots, it could be bad.This place moves dogs through like cattle in a meat market. They take as many as they can. Meanwhile all these dogs are left sitting in cages for HOURS.Around 3:30 pm, I got a text that they were done. It was a LOUD mad house when we walked in. My two were huddled in a cage with barking dogs right next to them. All I could think about is getting them out of there. The girl put on Gumbo's harness. while I was getting my Yorkipoo's on. Gumbo's harness was put on upside down so it was falling off him on the way to the car. This girl works with dogs?I paid them $140 CASH as cash, paypal, venmo is all they could take. No credit cards. (easier to get money back from a credit card) I was taken aback when they told me $140 because their website claims it is $55 for a full groom for small dog. I never got a receipt so don't know why I was charged so much more.When I got back to my son's house, we noticed my Yorkipoo's front nails were not done. Three were clipped in the back. The rest was left just the same as when I took her in. Her body and legs hadn't been cut whatsoever and there were still mats in her in armpits! She had a mat in her chest. Not only that, but I had a ponytail on top my dog's head before I took her. THAT same rubber band was still in her hair. They had just put a different one with a bow on top. When I went to take those out 3 days later, her ponytail was one big mat. If they had bathed her, they washed her with that ponytail in because the rubber bands that I use are silicone strips that are meant to be broken to remove. They are NOT reusable. She didn't smell bathed. She smelled like cologne.Bottom line is that they did not give my little dog a full groom. They didn't give her a groom at all. When I texted my concerns to Furry Friends, I got a reply 2 days later that she was sorry and explained she had one of her groomers do her. She asked me to bring my dog back the following week knowing I was from out of state.I told her I could not do that (she knew that) and I told her that I should not have been charged $140 if my dog did not get a full groom.I heard nothing back after that. No surprise there. I am writing this TRUE review to warn people so you do not get taken like I did.I am a senior on social security. Those grooms were my ONLY Christmas gift and Furry Friends Pet Parlor ruined it.

I take my dog here once a week for a bath. He gets excited as soon as he realizes where we are. Running full speed to the door. So they must be doing something right. Now he’s a Chihuahua mix so he doesn’t need a haircut. But every time I come to pick him up I get to see all the amazing haircut dogs waiting to get picked up too. Very friendly and professional environment. I will be taking my dog here until he crosses the rainbow bridge.

I had a very positive experience with the groomer Carey. My shepherd needed a summer cut and she went above and beyond to make sure I liked the cut. This included sending me pictures halfway through to ask my opinion on coat length etc. Excellent service!

I moved to Little Elm about a year ago, and have been looking effortlessly for a good pet salon for my two mini schnauzers.We tried another pet salon previously, however they were very unprofessional, pricey, and completely unevenly cut their hair. No apology or offer of some kind to attempt to make things right...From the moment that I walked into Furry Friends Pet Salon, my fur babies and I felt the warm and welcoming embrace that the friendly professional staff extended us. ☺Misty did an excellent job making my schnauzers look like actual schnauzers again! The price was very very reasonable!!!Additionally, the lady and her son that were working the front desk did an amazing job! She was very friendly, attentive and accommodating to our needs and requests. When she called me to pick them up so was so excited with their look, and told me that I was going to love the way my dogs looked when I seen them. That made me feel good and like this salon really cared about my fur babies. ❤💙Sadly, my female schnauzer, Jasmine suddenly passed away the next day on 5/10/21 and I am still grieving from her loss. I will however continue to take my toy schnauzer to Furry Friends! He looks so handsome!If you are looking for a pet salon please give them a try and request Misty! She is very good!!👍🏼

We have experienced issues with the service here a couple times. One time we had water get into our dog's nose which we cleared up and it did not happen again. Then this last time, our dog was dropped off the minute they opened and she was there for over 6 hours which is way over the time it should take. Her cut was definitely rushed because her hair was not blended which leads us to believe they completely forgot about her until we texted. I called multiple times after she had been there for over 4 hours and there was no answer or call back. When we picked her up there was no recognition of how long they took and still charged full price. Sad to say but we will never be going back here.

First let me start by saying the derogatory reviews I have read here are absurd. I have been taking my doggies to Anita for over ten years. With multiple dogs at a time. Up to seven many times. Anita is very good at what she does. Has she had a few bad experiences with groomers she has hired, yes but they do not stay there for long.As for the Anonymous writer ( why hide by the way) slandering Anita about being bipolar is extremely excessive! Anita is stern. She runs a tight ship in her shop. She wants every dog to go out of there looking their best with the least amount of problems that could arise.There also has to be an amount of understanding that she not only has to deal with all personalities of dogs but also of the owners. I myself have seen rude people come in.One other thing I can probably guess who the Anonymous is. A disgruntled employee that has been told to leave. And we all know of the other person in town who is trying to be a groomer has discredit Anita over and over again to cover up her bad service and to get people in her doors.As a person who drives over 35 miles to take my coveted babies to her is saying a lot for her.

Just picked up my old man (14 yo Golden) from Furry Friends and they did another amazing job with him! He looks and smells so good and has the cutest Easter bandanna. They always take such good care of him while grooming, careful to miss his old man lumps and bumps with the trimmer and getting his back end clipped tight so we keep things neat back there! Also very reasonably priced. Have been taking my dogs here for years and never had a complaint. Thanks, Misty and FF!

Edit 3 : We have been taking our dog to this place for past 1 year and they are doing great job.Edit 2: Grooming was done nicely this time without any issues. Hence I am increasing starsOld review:I have taken my Maltipoo for grooming and instructed very well about his face, ears & body. I asked them to keep the ear long and shape it a bit.My husband picked him, his ears were completely shaved off. There was no hair left on ears. But they didn’t clean his ear wax.So I called them to ask about his ears. And they were lying that his ears were matted & they had to remove all the hair. I brush him frequently and his ears were not matted at all.Lady on the phone was rude & she was adamant that his ears were matted. I am sure he was not matted bcoz I was the one dropped him. They should’ve at-least acknowledge their mistake instead of lying.Rest of the grooming like his face & body was good

I have taken my little Chihuahua and my large Anatolian Shepherd to Furry Friends in Little Elm for about 6 years now. They are always so friendly and sweet with Millie and Milo when we come in. The ladies do an excellent job of grooming both breeds. I’m always happy with the way Millie and Milo look. Thank you Furry Friends for taking great care of my babies♥️

I would highly recommend Furry Friends, they did such an amazing job on Harpers hair cut and clearly loved all over her in the process. She usually hates the groomer but when I went back to pick her up she was so happy and not hiding behind me waiting to get out the door. The staff really took their time to make sure we had everything we needed and cared so much about her.Thank you so much!!!

I brought my 2 miniature schnauzers here a month ago. One of my dogs came home with bleeding cuts on both of his ears that turned into giant scabs. His hair also wasn't cleaned very well and was very dirty around his eyes.I decided to give them another chance and brought them back today. I mentioned the cuts on my dog's ears and asked them to be sure not to do that again. I also gave very specific instructions as far as how I wanted the length on their hair. I said that I wanted their back hairs a little shorter but not so short that you can see their skin. Then on one of them I wanted the long hairs a little shorter and his beard, which was very long, to be only 1/4 inch shorter and no more.When I went to pick them up, I was shocked to see that they didn't follow ANY of my directions. The dog that I asked for the beard to be 1/4 inch shorter, they completely shaved his beard and left nothing. I asked why it was like that and she said something like she wanted it to match the rest of him. Match the rest of him??? The groomer who did this clearly has no idea how to do a miniature schnauzer cut, AND didn't listen to my directions. The short hairs were also done way too short and I can see skin.She also said something about his ears having 2 sores on them and that's why they were bleeding last time. I looked and the sores were the leftover scab from when the groomer cut them last month!It will take more than 6 months for his beard to grow back. I've had to apologize to him for this ridiculously bad haircut and ruined beard. This ranks among the top 2 or 3 worst haircuts my dogs have ever had. I will never bring them back here. I am just appalled that they would give such terrible haircuts.
