Decent place to stop in to pick up something in a pinch. Generally clean and orderly. I always thought the dollar store was supposed to be cheap but the grocery prices seem quite high. Maybe everything is high now a days.

When this first opened there was a different manager the store was clean and neat I went in there today and a couple of months back and I was getting followed by the manager not only that but she whispers to her associates about customers coming into the store. As a past employee of DG I understand the stress all the employees go through but being a manager it’s highly disrespectful for you to treat your customers differently ( I feel it’s a racial issue) stare down and make your customers feel uncomfortable. Randy is rude and needs to put more effort into picking up the store.

Tonight I had the opportunity to visit the Dollar General store in Lindsay Texas oh, it's fairly new store just a few months old but I have to say it was one of the best experiences I've had in shopping in a long time. Staff was limited of course but most courteous and helpful but most of all that store was clean and neat and pleasure to shop there. The Janesville Dollar General Store needs to come and visit and see what running a store is like.
