Please don't stay here the place is loaded with bedbugs and the owners are very aware of it and do nothing about it. I was covered in bites and never in my life experienced anything even remotely close. Save your hard earned money and either continue north to Atlanta or if traveling south Jefferson or Marshall. You will be thankful for the advice. I wish I didn't even have to give them 1 star but that's not an option. Horrible, filthy place to stay

The place is the worst place I've ever stayed in. The TV has 2 remotes, but it doesn't turn the TV on. The rooms stink. The fridge has a bad oder. Worn-out furniture. The sad thing is this is the only hotel in this town, we came here for a funeral.Can't wait to leave this place. Funky, stinky, and nothing works. They did change our room, this one is much much better.Noteworthy details: Don't stay here keep driving

Just stayed here last night and have got to compared to my previous value hotel experiences I couldn't be happier! Yes it's a two star hotel but it's what you expect when staying at a place at this price, clean rooms, basic necessities, and pleasant staff. If you're coming through Linden and are considering staying at some other value hotels that you normally find (Super 8's, Best westerns, Red roof Inn) I highly recommend you give this place a chance instead.Rooms: Crazy I have to point this out but if you need a non-smoking room then you can trust these guys. Got a non-smoking room and as described it did not have any smoke smells at all. Same cannot be said of other hotel chains.Food & drinks: Nearby donut shop, didn't have a chance to visit but definitely a plus if you have a sweet tooth or kids.

Clean, comfortable and great breakfast. The price is a but steep, but the place is well located, beds are super comfy, nice shower, very nice breakfast with yogurt and toppings, real eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes. I didn't like that the pool only opens at noon and they don't accept pets. Other than that, pretty nice place.

Guys pick to stay here. This little town is all into it's revitalization and this hotel has done an awesome update job. We stayed in a double non smoking. Late check in was no problem. Owners are the sweetest people! No odors, nice pillows, clean, great tv channels. Donut store in the parking lot. Would definitely stay again during a weekend trip. The noise from 59 is there but with theTV on it's hard to notice.

Our stay at Royal Inn was awesome. We paid 60 bucks to stay for the night and we brought our dog! The rooms were cleaner than any hotel I've ever been to and this place is in the middle of a very small town. I have zero complaints and will definitely be coming back and telling family to stay here when they come to visit us after we move to Linden later this month. The owner Bob is a kind person and made my fiancee and I feel very welcome. Definitely come stay here if you're looking for a place to sleep comfortably for the night, you won't be disappointed.

We had to evacuate from Louisiana for hurricane ida. Been here almost a week now with a child and two kitty cats. Owners have been amazing and helpful! They’re quick to recommend where to eat, offer us assistance any time we need something, and are all around great people! I couldn’t ask for better service. This isn’t a big, fancy hotel or anything, but the room is clean and we feel safe. I would recommend if you find yourself this way, for sure.

The owner was nice.Bathroom was recently remodeled.The room was clean.Road noise is loud and bed was very firm. They allow pets for 10 extra a night. There is a donut shop ans convenience store right beside it.

I was running from Hurricane Laura and this was the only place I could find that was pet friendly as all motel rooms were taken by Wednesday morning. It was 170 mile north of the hurricane impact but I was concerned since most motels that accept pets had horrible, sticky carpet. Imagine my surprise when I arrived, and the outside was unremarkable, but I found the room wonderful. The floors and shower were covered with sparkling clean ceramic tile, there was a comfy chair and ottoman for reading and the bed had clean new stylish linens. They didn't have the usual amenities, like a coffee pot, etc but due to the COVID I wouldn't have used them. The refrigerator was cold and microwave worked perfectly. There was a grassy area right outside my door (room 121) that was perfect for my dog. I would recommend this as an overnight for any travelers with a pet. Oh, wifi was spotty, but when I called the owner/manager he came to my room and made sure my laptop and iPhone were connected.

This is the best deal in this area. The owners are very kind and pleasant people. There is no coffee maker in room but there is an excellent donut coffee shop 50 feet away. One of the cleanest places ive been to. I slept well and did not hear a thing. If you want a good basic place to stay rather than a bed and breakfast 4 times the price this is your place. Bring a hair dryer...

We stayed in room 104. Very clean. No odor in room, smelled nice. It's an older motel but our room has been updated. Nice bathroom, shower. Refrigerator and microwave. Air conditioner gets nice and cold. Bed is lil hard but comfortable. I also like that my lil schnoodle could come with us and was welcomed. I would definitely stay here again.

I had my doubts about the place. The room was surprisingly clean though and the bed was comfortable. However, the location is terrible. It's right by a busy highway and we heard traffic all night long. If you are a light sleeper like me I would not recommend. You will not sleep. I'd like to give 3 stars but there was also no coffee. Coffee is definitely needed after a sleepless night.

For what you for a room you can't find a better deal.. yes their stuff is old and yes it takes forever to get hot water to some of the rooms but they are always clean and fully stocked with the items your going to need..

Royal Inn is a no frills hotel, recently remodelled with tile floors throughout and upgraded bedding. Large armoire detracts from available space, and overnight traffic at the convenience store can be distracting for light sleepers. HVAC is not as noisy as some, and expect rooms to be hot if you arrive late, as the AC is not.on in vacant units. Overall, a good value if Linden is your destination.

The price was right, the distance to where I was, the Owner is a very pleasent and kind man. The room is basic, but very adiquit for my needs.The room very neat and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a place to stay.
