We stop here (almost) every time we head to Sherwood Forest Faire. People are fantastic, food is incredible, shelves are always stocked, and its a great place to decompress after a 4 hour drive. While the food is slow to come out, i can see them making it, and it comes out HOT. Like give it a moment, or your gonna hurt. Worth the little bit of a wait, grab a drink and relax. Overall, an amazing place, and we recommend it to everyone. No one has complained yet. Truly an amazingly fantastic place.

Have stopped in quite a few times during my travels in Lee County and finally got around to ordering burgers this past Saturday after spending the morning up the road in Old Dime Box. They were fantastic-- will definitely be back for more!

Walch's has been there for as long as I can remember. The burgers are good, they serve beer that's not too pricey, and they have a 6' bar-style pool table (quarter fed, not hourly) that's level. What more do you need except fuel which they alley have. Not a huge selection of drinks/snacks but when you live this far out in the country, it might as well be a supermarket.

Pulled over here to take a nap and when I accidentally drained my battery an employee actually went out of her way to see if I needed help, offered her jumper cables to get me back on the road. Very nice people working there and very nice people that frequent the store, it was one of these patrons that heroically came to my rescue and got me back home after providing a little mechanical assistance to a very tired, very frustrated, person (Me). Thank you to the employee and the generous stranger that were looking out for their fellow (wo)man this last Wednesday morning.
