We spent 4 nights at the Elm Creek Inn & RV Park outside of Lincoln Texas. We pair $140 for the 4 nights water sewer 50 amp electric. There is a bathhouse and laundry facilities available. It is a quiet park with mainly long term residents and a couple forever residents. The WiFi was strong enough to stream all week. The antenna pointing to Austin and San Antonio picked up 39 channels. This is a great little park. I give it 5 ✨ thank you for the great stay. They also have propane on property. I did not need a refill. The restaurant is open Thursday through Sunday.

This is my grandmother's and I's go to place whenever we drive from College Station to Austin. Not only does it have that home cooking taste, but the actual location feels like your a guest in someone's home and the staff treat you as such. They have the best Catfish by far! #elmcreek

This place is the best. The food is outstanding and I am fussy, the wait staff is on the ball and if you want to treat your taste buds to something spectacular, try the LOADED BAKED POTATO. It's a meal in Itself.I also tried the pulled pork sandwich, and I'm not particularly crazy about BBQ, but I will have to have it again. Try it once and you'll be back.

this place is extraordinary! stopped in for Sunday brunch on our way out of SA and, just, wow! service was flawless and extremely accommodating. we had a campechana, barbacoa enchiladas and the steak, eggs and pancakes... Jesus, Mary, and Joseph... it was all spectacular! everything looked and smelled so delicious we dug in before I could get any photos of the entrees 😖 I'll spare you the 5 paragraphs gushing about the plating, presentation, savory flavors etc and say, 'Do yourself a favor and call in a reservation ASAP!'

This place epitomizes everything I love about small town diner/cafes. Great service, and better food. We had the fried green tomatoes, small (only one whole round steak) chicken fried steaks - grilled, which is their pan-fried version. Salad bar was by far the freshest of anywhere I have ever been. Lettuce and tomatoes looked like they had just picked them out of the garden and rinsed them off. Pies for dessert were also outstanding - lemon meringue and dewberry. Such a good experience, wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

This quaint cafe is so close to our house, yet it took us years to find it (alternate route taken after flooding occurred) and no doubt about it - we will be repeat customers!We had the marinated chicken breast, the chicken fingers, french fries and a piece of dewberry pie for dessert. It was the best meal we have had out in a long while - it was that good!!!Our waitress was a happy lady who liked her job and she made our experience all that much more pleasant :)Next time, we are opting for the seafood and catfish - can't wait!!Oh yeah, the antiques are for sale and reasonably priced. Came home w/a creamware bowl I couldn't live without!Thank you Elm Creek - you rock!

I went there for the Chicken Fried steak; Don't bother was the worst chicken fried steak i have ever eaten. I wouldn't even call it chicken fried steak. It was mostly batter, the steak was way to thin, was really tough. My mother is in her 80's she ordered off the senior menu. she ordered catfish and did not want fries, she wanted okra instead. they would not let her substitute. We were there for lunch at 12:30 PM there was nobody else in there. Will not go back, will not recommend.

Great place. I’ve been traveling for work for over 20 years and this place is great for the price and location. I was worried about it being so close to the road but it’s surprisingly quiet. The best Wi-Fi I’ve ever had at an Rv park. About 10 minutes to a town that has pretty much everything you need. Great water and pressure.

Chicken fried steaks here are amazing, have yet to find a restaurant comparable for the value you get. Also have some good seafood dishes. The floors are a bit creaky and rooms crowded but that is something I'm willing to put up with as the food and service here is stellar.

Customer service could have been beter. On the owners part. He was unwilling to put my fish on bread. I did not ask for a discount I simply asked for catfish on bread. He said noThe server Brenda did a good job.Salad was okay.No sweet tea.No substitutionsThe catfish was good and the fried okra was goodMy son said the chicken tenders were also good.

Great salad bar. Parents had CFS and they loved it. I had catfish, crisp and fresh. Had 8 in party and all left happy. Staff was attentive and friendly. It is hard to make everyone in a large group satisfied, Elm Creek pulled it off. Thanks

Visited for a much-overdue 2nd time yesterday. It's smack in the middle of Aggieland and Austin (which is awesome for me). Fried and wonderfully southern!! VERY fresh salad bar. Wonderful waitress (shout out to Bobbie)! Delicious pie!! It may be a special but the jalapeno corn nuggets are a must-try!!! It's also just a cute place to look around inside and has some antiques for those of us who like to look at that:)

I just love this place. Fantastic fried pickles. The burgers are also good. Chicken, shrimp and catfish also on menu. Now and then wild game is featured. Salad bar. Nice people.

We have stayed here a few times now and they are always friendly and helpful. There is a shower/laundry house. Free laundry with the rental fee. Nice and quiet park. Cafe is open on weekends and has great food. Free wifi as well.

This is a quintessential Texas cafe that serves classic comfort foods. The iced tea was good and strong and the salad bar was fresh. Alot of fried food and home cooking. All of what we had was delicious. We also enjoyed looking throughout the cafe at the antiquea/nick nacks.

Update: They Closed Down!!! That really sucks because they have been around for 30+ years! Down home cooking with a menu that stays away from the cookie cutter chain stores, more money for local business, Ronald McD is already rich. Plus, I would rather have a meal prepared by hand, on-site, by a human than to eat some defrosted, machine processed, preservative saturated, who knows what's in that "chicken nugget"!

Great place to stay. Owners are super nice and the location is good. Truck traffic so a little noise during the day. We will come back often.
