I'm from out of town and boarded my dog here while attending a festival in nearby Burnet during the Solar Eclipse. I booked out about a month in advance and was very impressed by the reviews and also the rates once quoted. The gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and seemed excited to have my pup board with them. It was top notch customer service from the first phone call to picking him up. The festival ended up getting cancelled early and they had my dog ready to go when I arrived. I would recommend The Dog Ranch to anyone who needs to have their dog looked after and am only sorry I don't live in the area, because I would bring him here often! Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of Atlas! :)

My dog absolutely loves going to the Dog Ranch. Everyone there is so friendly and shows a great love and excitement for dogs. I love that they create such a fun environment by providing various activities for the dogs throughout each day such as interactive play, water play and themed days throughout the year such as holiday parties or summer water play days. My dog gets so excited each week to go there and comes home wiped out after a fun-filled day there. Thanks for loving on my baby and giving her a fun experience each time she goes.

Excellent care for our two furry family members by excellent people. I was a bit emotional upon leaving them which was the first time to board. I was greeted very kindly by Erin (spelling?). The dogs were taken to their ‘home’ for the weekend and Erin answered all questions. When we picked them up on Sunday we could tell they had been well loved. The staff was all very friendly and had all the dogs’ stuff packed and ready. I also love the report card! Highly recommended! And already booked for the next two stays.

I must express my dissatisfaction with the pricing at this establishment. I found it concerning that I was not informed of the total cost of the stay until I picked up my dogs at the end. I dropped them off on Friday afternoon and was required to pick them up on Monday instead of Sunday. They were housed together in a single suite, as they are two mini Goldendoodles. The bill came to $675, which I found to be exorbitant.Furthermore, I was disappointed by the lack of updates over the weekend regarding my dogs' well-being and activities. It is disheartening to think that they may have been confined to their kennels without my knowledge. When I retrieved them, the staff simply mentioned that they were pleased to have had my dogs and hoped to see them again. It seems apparent that they prioritize profit, potentially charging close to $1000 per stay, rather than providing adequate communication and care.Given these circumstances, I have decided that I will not be returning to this facility with my dogs. The prices are simply unreasonable, and the lack of communication is unacceptable.

The Dog Ranch @ Liberty Hill is awesome!! We had our little Bichon puppy in the 10 day puppy training class and it helped so much! They also are board our little one when we can't take him with us and my husband and I are thrilled! They definitely give their hearts and love to our fur babies! I 100% rate them 5 Stars!!

The training here is fantastic. My puppy is now 8 months old and he's learning and getting more confidence. He is scared of everything but working with him at home I can see he has learned a lot and it's great. Thank you Dog Ranch for helping with my puppy. A great learning experience for both of us.

Sadly, our senior dog, Dubs, passed away this weekend but I wanted the staff at The Dog Ranch to know that they were the first AND ONLY place we ever boarded him during his near 13 years with us. Dubs was always so well taken care of and given lots of love by the staff. Thank you so much for everything you did for him during his stays with you.

Had my little Shepinois evaluated for training. She is very insulated and very reluctant to interact with strangers but spent the whole day at the Dog Ranch. We are starting weekly private lessons next week to help her become more social and obedient and less fixated on me. I was very impressed with the staff at the Dog Ranch—very knowledgeable and compassionate. I am confident both my dog and I will benefit from their expertise improving my girl’s behavior

Phoebe has been going to The Dog Ranch for years and we absolutely LOVE IT! She goes weekly for daycare and they are also who we trust when we go out of town and need to board our dogs. The staff is super friendly and love on my Phoebe every chance they get. She always comes home from daycare super tired and it’s awesome! Highly Recommend!

The first time that Louie stayed he was so afraid and didnt want to go inside, but the following times he stayed, he was so happy to be there and just wanted to say hello to all staff members haha that was sooo good to see and make us feel that it is a good place for him and they treat them well, he always gets a lot of love from the staff :')They take care of him really well :') they have a lot of staff members and veterinarians and they are always aware of his needs. He seems so happy in his activities (I can see it in the pictures they send) and always gets back home in a really good shape, I have never seen any injury in him or anything, and you just need to bring your pets food and they feed them accordingly.Im so happy we found this place, Louie loves being there and Im really calm to know that he is there when we need to travel.Thank you so much!

I brought my puppies Bolt and Bailey and they trained them with the basics of course we have to continue with the training otherwise they will lose it they are only five months old so we have to keep up what they started highly recommended

I changed groomers because my dog is old and needs some extra care. His last place wasn’t great at accommodating special needs. I used Action Pack in Round Rock years ago and this location is just as good. My dog has arthritis in his back legs and has trouble walking on slick floors and taking stairs. When I came to pick him up from his appointment I saw that they picked him up so he didn’t have to take the few stairs to the office. I didn’t even request that so my heart was so happy that they just felt it was a need. They also went at a little slower of a pace with him while grooming so he could get water breaks. This place deserves more than 5 stars in my book. Not to mention he came home looking adorable.

I dropped of our 2 dogs on Sunday during their window of 4-6 pm and picked them up the following Saturday between 8am and noon. A reservation is required ahead of time, Vet records, etc... if you haven't boarded with them recently. I'm not giving 5 stars because of two things. I dropped them off with individually, daily, labeled dog food packets per dog per day per meal which we counted prior to dropping off to make sure each meal was accounted for. The employee at drop off reviewed what I brought and said everything looked good. I received a call on Friday afternoon from The Dog Ranch saying our dogs don't have anymore food. They offered to feed them the dog food they have on hand which was fine. At pick up the amount due was different from the amount quoted, I asked if it was from the food supplied since it was $100 more. They said the food wasn't charged. I was able to call throughout the week to check on them with staff asking the caregivers specifics. The Aussie's fur around chest, legs, abdomen were full of stickers from their daily free time. The Yorkie was at his baseline appearance. All our items were returned intact and accounted for. I may look around next time a little more for boarding options, $700+ for this time was up there.

It was our dogs first time there and he was not eating much. They called and asked if they could add some canned food to his food to get him to eat. I was glad they were concerned and contacted me. We will definitely board her there again.

I love the trainers at Dog Ranch soooo much that I’m continuing to use their services via Zoom even though I’ve moved 2 states away! I have a very high energy pup that sometimes stresses me out, but they help me stay calm and make things very understandable and achievable! Love them all so much ♥️

My dog Bhaer loves going to The Dog Ranch. He watches and starts dancing as soon as we turn in that direction. When we get there, he can hardly wait to go play with his friends. When I pick him up, he is happy and tired. He often falls asleep on the way home! I took him to another day care a couple of times while The Dog Ranch was remodeling but he was always anxious and stressed when I picked him up. The first time we went back after the reopening, Bhaer could hardly contain himself. He was at the door going "bye, Mom!" without looking back.

Great business. Dogs love it here. Have only been taking them for 3 months. The watchers have tablets outside to take pictures of the dogs and put them on social media. First time I seen tablets used like that. Seen two dogs get into a scuffle and the staff broke it up just as fast as it began. This business is on top of their game and care for your dog like it is theirs. This is the place to go. Ask about their packs if price is a concern to you. Overall the money you spend here is piece of mind that your dog is being cared for and the staff knows what to do.

I've brought my sensitive dog for boarding multiple times in the past few years. They take great care of him, and the genuine care for the animals is evident in all the employees I've met. My sweet boy has come home depressed after staying at other facilities in the past, but always comes home from Action Pack happy, clean and nourished. Boarding is never easy on the heart, but knowing he's in good, caring hands gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend!

My Rocky LOVES coming to The Dog Ranch at Liberty Hill. He cannot get through the door fast enough so he can play with all of his friends. The staff are excellent and love my pup as much as I do. Can’t recommend them enough!
