I've heard nothing but great things about this place and tonight just happened to be the night that I wandered in. I was greeted at the door by a woman who said go ahead and take a seat anywhere. That's exactly what we did. Took a nice little quiet seat in the corner. The place is very charming, TVs on every single wall And it has a nice ambience. The big chair bench and the back that you can scoot your table to.Our waitress was lovely even though this was only her second day ( bless her heart)We started off with a couple of soft drinks and we didn't know that they came in cans so that was kind of a shocker to us... But nevertheless, when in Rome.I ordered 15 chicken wings, hot. And a pepperoni calzone. My wife went in ordered a four topping pizza of extra cheese, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage. Our food was ready within 12 minutes which was astonishing to be quite honest, And we didn't even notice because of the ambience of the restaurant. But who's counting right???? 😁Wings were pretty good, but I should have called a red flag when they told me that there was no blue cheese.. being a Western New York native, ranch does not belong with chicken wings, in fact, I think most bars would kick you out. The calzone was tasty but kind of doughy like it wasn't cooked all the way through. And my wife's pizza looked good on top but the undercarriage needed an additional minute or two in the pizza oven. In barstool terms, the pizza had a lot of flop. All in all, it seemed like a pleasant experience and I'm willing to forgive some things because I understand that things aren't the same down here as they are in the northern states when it comes to pizza and wings... But it wasn't until I got home and I actually looked at my receipt that I was kind of taken back. Fact of the matter is I was charged $2.25 just to have hot sauce on my wings??? I don't understand this concept. So the menu says that it is $1.33 per wing, a minimum of 10 wings. But then below it it says you can have them in mild or hot Buffalo or they can be tossed in a hot sauce for an additional charge of $2 or a dollar or something like that... So how do you normally eat your chicken wings here? Plain not even breaded? This doesn't make any sense to me. This is like ordering a beer and them charging you extra for carbonation.Oh well, better luck next time I guess??

We’ve ordered take out from here a number of times, our favorites are the bolognese and the carbonara. Really great pasta made in an unassuming spot! Haven’t dined in yet, but a few times I’ve caught some live music while picking up and it has a relaxed atmosphere, there’s a play area for kids as well.Parking: There are a lot of parking spots, but during peak hours it can be a little difficult to get a spot.Kid-friendliness: There’s a play area for kids outside

This place is a hidden gem. I do not drink alcohol so wouldnt seek out a beer market, but this place had crazy good food. Everything my family ate was freshly made, cooked perfect, and seasoned well. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and everything we ate was top of the line. I can't speak for the bar part of the place, but you cannot go wrong with the food there. The staff were all very nice at least the ones we dealt with; they may hide ones that nobody likes in back but that wouldn't affect anyone's experience. Just kidding, the people in back were probably nice also. I heard there's live music also, I will look forward to trying them out with a show going on.

This was a first visit for my wife and I. I ordered the meatball casserole. Basically meatballs, cheese and sauce. I really liked it. She had the lasagna. This had a sweeter taste than she cared for. I tried it, it was sweet. Different flavor but served hot and fresh. I want to go back and try the pizza and other items. Nice little spot with some live music outside. Lots of beer options and overall good vibe. Very comfortable family bar feel.Kid-friendliness: 2 items on kids menu. Play area outside.

I'm always looking for kid-friendly places with outdoor seating and playground options for the family. If you are in the Liberty Hill area, this is absolutely a good option for sitting outside when the weather is nice. It is more of a bar atmosphere inside but they also have outdoor seating and a menu with pizza and various pasta dishes. We had the artichoke dip for an appetizer which was solid. Also tried the stuffed shells which were delicious. The kids shared a pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

The food is delicious. The wine was fresh and crisp. The staff are super friendly but have mastered the art of not making eye contact with the patrons. I littlerly stared at the bartender for a good 8 minutes while he conversed with a patron. So I picked up my phone and called the facility so I could close out and get my last request. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars!! Will still be back!

There’s so much to say about this place. I’ve been coming here for years now. They have tasty food, an assortment of drink options, and wonderful staff. The owners are present and well loved. They take care in the people they hire because I love them all and made quite a few friendships. I love that they have trivia nights, love music, karaoke, etc which keeps it lively and entertaining. It’s never too loud which makes it enjoyable to converse with new people each time you go. I always recommend people come here. It’s also kid friendly and always see families here enjoying their time together. Always a grand time coming here. Perfect for girls night, guys night, family fun, date night.. you name it and there’s a reason to be here.

Outside looks sketchy, but once you're inside, it's pretty cool. Great service, good food, cold beer. Don't judge this place based on the plain exterior...give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Great service by Liz. Hubby loves their eggplant but wishes it was sliced thicker. Marinara sauce is yummy. Risotto was very tasty.

Wonderful outdoor patio. Great band tonight called Nameless Road. Service and food are excellent; beer is cold. Kids are welcome and can enjoy the fancy play area. Only downside is limited parking but we parked at the lumber store behind the market. What else do you need on a Friday night?

My girlfriend and I used it as our work from home base while in Liberty Hill and the staff and owners made us feel like it was our actual living room! Lori was incredibly attentive and my coffee appeared as if it refilled itself every time my back was turned.Renalto the owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the revolving beers on tap. It felt as if I had a personal beer tour of each one as we sampled them throughout the stay! 🍻. The food is also delectable!11/10 would recommend to locals and folks just passing through!

Very clean and folksy joint where you can get delicious mimosas flights in a variety of flavors, cheese plates, and tasty eggs benedict. There's also a wide variety of Italian dishes, as well as standard pub fare. It's great that they have a play structure for the kids - makes it easy for the adults to enjoy their own "play date" while the kids have fun.

We loved the outdoor seating so much. Had a fun bday party out there, even during covid times. We don't drink so we we're glad they had quite a bit of food on the menu. Best thing was the pizzas, and the fried pickles. I'm Italian by decent and thought the stuffed shells were pretty good too! The calzone had way too much cheese in it though, unless cheese is your favorite ingredient, I would probably go with something else. They were doing a trivia night inside, and that seemed to be fun for those who wanted to sit inside as well.

For a place called a beer market, they had very little selection. Only 1 hazy IPA on draft. I ordered lasagna and got noodles smothered in sauce. There was no cheese at all! When I showed the server that there was no ricotta in the layers at all, her response was basically, "Huh". $17 for some noodles and a ton of sauce! In addition, we had empty glasses for a while before the server paud us any attebtuon. She was too busy gabbing. Needless to say, we won't be back and will continue to share our lousy experience.

We went for the first time with friends and returned a few days later. Both times food was excellent. Each of us ate all of our food. Eclectic menu that doesn't match the Texas-feel bar. But it works because of the deliciousness of the food. A lot of beer options, too.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Outdoor play area. Chess and checkers on table. Kids menu

Nice little place on Hwy 29. Has indoor and outdoor seating with a small playground for the kids. A bar that serves food. The appetizers are very good and nice size portions. They have half-price appetizers from 3-5. We've had the chicken sandwich, schnitzel sandwich, club sandwich, chicken wings, pizza, and salad with chicken- most of them are pretty good. Taste and portion size. The schnitzel sandwich was extremely light on the schnitzel. (Extremely thin piece of meat on a huge bun) Our usual go-to is the chicken wings, which are on the appetizers list.

UPDATE: The Beer Market now does amazingly delicious, beautiful and delightful breakfast! In the pic is Eggs Benedict and an Egg Curry Sandwich & mimosa. So good! This super accessible, family-friendly pub-style bar boasts a full "Italian resturant-style" menu, with a broad selection of appetizers. Complete with an impressively broad selection of local and craft beers + ciders. Friendly service, clean facilities, with a true "local, small town bar feel," I like hanging out on their huge, inviting patio which is full of picnic tables and trees, complete with a hammock and year-round fairy lights, making evenings feel a bit magical. Plus the Liberty Hill Beer Barker stays open a bit later than most of the other restaurants in town, so it's an easy choice after dark.On my most recent visit my friend and I got a "Meatball Calzone" and a Strombolli. The both are presented similarly: a large "half circle," too huge to fit on a large plate, both had the tomato sauce served on the side in a separate little cup.The Meatball Calazone had a tremendous amount of ricotta and mozzarella cheeses and a generous amount of meat, and nothing else. It was oooey-gooey paradise. The Strombolli was packed full of everything, with lots of black olives, meats, and cheese, but much less cheese than the Calazone. My friend and I are both adults with big appetites, and we each were only able to eat 1/2 of our dish.We also brough a pizza home for 3 hungry teenagers, and they managed to devour our leftovers and the pie.The Beer Market is one of Liberty Hill's hidden gem, even though it's right there on the main highway. It's worth a drive from Austin to check it out!

Good food with an Italian twist. About 20 or so beers on tap. Beer and wine only no mixed drinks. Outdoor patio and a pool table inside.

This place is fantastic and clearly the best Italian food for quite a ways. The folks who own the restaurant are from Italy and the food is made fresh. I highly recommend the pizza, the risotto, the chicken mushroom pasta, and the lasagna. The upside pineapple cake is a family fav. You will not disappointed. I am really glad we live close enough to enjoy this rare Liberty Hill gem!
