I've been going here for years. And I have tried just about everything they process. My (and my daughter's) favorite has to be the bacon infused burger patties. The meatloaf, Italian ground, bacon wrapped filets, summer sausage, jerky, and slim jim sticks are a seasonal request from friends and family. Cole and his staff are always very friendly. I'll pass a dozen or more processors to drop off my deer and Hunters Creek. I have tried the famous and overpriced processor in Austin, and to me, it is not as good as these guys.

The best, cleanest deer processing and the jalapeño cheese summer sausage, beef sticks and tamales are delicious! The taxidermy is excellent work and I I wouldn’t trust my trophies to anyone else. Thanks Cole you’ve got an outstanding operation!

I've tried many processors throughout the years. We were on our way back from a New Mexico elk hunt and notice this processor so decided to look up reviews and give it a try. Awesome customer service, reasonable rates and good quality processing. Will be using Hunter's Creek moving forward. Looking forward to landing a New Mexico audad and having them do amount for me.

Customer service is off the charts. They do the best processing around. I just tried the bacon wrapped steaks for the first time and they are out of this world good. I have been doing getting the summer sausage for years and it's outstanding too. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Cole Steven's and his employees at Hunters Creek are absolutely the best!! Hands down the best in the business and their Taxidermy Steven's Taxidermy is awesome as well, I've had over 13 mounts done by them and are were flawless!!! Been using HC a few years now and impressed with every batch of meat. Great prices, great products across the board and able to pick up every time within 2 weeks of drop off. Very convenient if you live around north Austin and the entire staff is very friendly.

the sausage is excellent. reasonable price for processing. The staff was helpful / courteous (they offered to load everything in my truck). There are other processors closer to where I hunt; I will strongly consider driving the extra distance.

Customer service was great, prices were high and food was utterly forgettable.Hours were super convenient. People we dealt with were awesome.Prices were like $100 more than any other place we tried. (~$400 for a whitetail deer)My wife and youngest don't like a lot of heat, so we got the basic link sausage, the basic summer sausage and the basic pan sausage and Jerky, that being pretty much all the non-spicy choices.I get the feeling they are proud of there food with peppers in it, and if you don't like that they feel like you want bland flavorless food. Well, that's what they delivered. While I havn't eaten every variety we ordered, what I have tried is best summed up with the word forgettable. When product is dominated flavor-wise by a Ritz Cracker, you need to dig a little deeper.In the end, a butcher and a Game Processor are about the product you take home.That's where an otherwise great place fell flat. 0 stars for the food 2 stars for the customer service.P.S> My 12yr old declined to eat the summer sausage, his words 'it taste's like hotdogs.". Pretty much sums it up.P.P.S> I've now tried everything but the pan sausage, The jerky and sausage start with a nice smoke flavor, but then falls flat, the jerky not having much flavor at all for jerky, and the sausage tasting much like the cheapest of generic polish sausage at Walmart...

So to give a little back story I just started hunting this year with a buddy of mine and didn't have a place to process because it was late and no other processor was open. I was frantic about finding a place because I wanted to make sure the meat didn't spoil. I have hunters Creek to see if they would stay open just a little longer because I was coming from far away and the response I got was "Don't worry about it, we'll be here waiting to take it off your hands" they then proceeded to assist me in taking out and putting it in their walk in fridge. They were great and the sausage and steaks I got were marvelous. I'm definitely coming back next year

If you have to pay someone to process an animal for you I could not reccomend a better place. This is the first time that I have ever used a place to process a deer. It takes some time to get over how much it cost afyet normally doing them myself but with my schedule and the time it saved me it was the best choice. After this experience I will probaly always use them even if I do have the time. They were very friendly and had plenty of choices from a basic process to do8ng just about anything that you wanted with the meat. The young man that unloades the deer out of the truck washed the blood off of the tailgate and the tarp. They told me it could take up to 14 days but t was ready in a week. I have had the breakfast sausage and used some of the other meat and it was great. Highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to process an animal.

Quality is outstanding. My wife disliked a lot of processed venison places and never ate it cause of how chewy it is, now she really enjoys this place and eats the meat. They de-grizzle the meat! She is a picky eater and if she like this place then you will too, if your picky!They do not pool there meat and the process is simple. I have been using this place for 3 years now every season. Great stuff!

Did not get all my meat! My deer weighed 175lbs, field dressed! Only got 50 to 60lbs of processed meat back!!!!Took two buck to Schneider’s in Fredericksburg!!! Wow, fast, helpful, AND, I got ALL my meat! Approximately 180lbs of meat from two bucks, closer to 200lbs!!!!! Cooked sausage, steaks, chops, everything was perfect!!!! Wayyyyy better than Hunter’s Creek, in my opinion!!!!

I took an full grown Axis doe in to be processed and got back about 60 lbs of processed meat back. I should’ve gotten double that back, but oh well, someone ate good for a while. I wouldn’t take a cotton tail back to be processed.

Great place to take game. 2 lb. Packaging is the only downfall for me personally. Option for 1 lb. Ground meat packages without charging extra would be nice
