Thought of trying this place due to close proximity to my place but was greatly disappointed.He got many red marks and spots after this grooming from here. When confronted with groomers they could not justify. Started by reasoning his age due to which he could got razer burns and ended up by saying it could have been fire ants.My dog has been to multiple groomers and never had such a bad experience.I will not recommend to any pet lover

Had taken my dog for nail trimming and was so scared and jumpy. But the groomers were not annoyed, calmed him down and got the job done in no time! Also gave him treats after. :) Will be going to them for all my dog grooming needs!

I came for a quick walk-in nail trimming for my dog. Happy Dog Grooming was quick to service and my dog gave them hell but they kept positive and got it done! It was stressful on me because I know how bad he is when getting his nails clipped but they even made me feel happy and relaxed about it all!

I’m so sad to report that my puppy experienced mishandling during only her 2nd appointment. I can get past a little scrape with the clippers but bruising on interior of the thigh is unacceptable. Further, I’d requested a “trim and tidy” cut and it’s only 1/2 complete. Her eyebrows were not trimmed and the sanitary trim is incomplete. She’s a puppy and most likely was wiggly... but if the job can’t be completed due to that, don’t charge for the full service. Under no circumstance should any dog be bruised during grooming. When I picked up my dog after grooming, I watched a groomer raising her voice with another dog. So sad.I’ve reported the bruising issue to the business owner, Melinda. She is ignoring me with no response for my requested refund. Avoid this grooming business.

I love this groomer. The owner and her staff are always friendly and careful with all my fur babies. She's gotten busier lately so you may need to call a few days before you need them to set an appointment. They always take any concerns i have seriously..truly I can't say enough good things about this place.

Forgot to make an appointment and the owner still took care of our little Yorkies. She's so sweet and clearly cares so much about the dogs. We've gone here twice now and they do a fantastic job!

Tried to make an appointment to have my dog groomed. I work 8am-4:30pm. Asked if I could bring her in at 3:30pm to 4pm (1.5-1 hour before they close and he said that's too close to closing time. Will only be able to groom my dog here if I take work off to bring her in in the morning. Disappointed in lack of schedule flexibility...you can't make appointments you just have to bring your dog in early, drop him/her off and be ready when they call you to pick up. The receptionist acted like he didn't care.

My dogs were there from 8am to 3pm kept in the same crate. My dogs were not cut until right before I picked them up. They still had loose hair on them, were not given a bath, which I was told was included in the price. One of my dogs nails were so jagged from the trimming that she scratched herself until she bled. Would not recommend.

I have been looking for another groomer for a week because my amazing groomer got covid. Was told to come in today. Not even an hour after my first visit at a new groomers (mind you I always feel nervous at a new groomers bc they have my baby!) I was asked to come pick her up because they couldn't groom her due to one of the groomers having a doctor's apt!This apt was explained to have been planned so this was not last min this was just bad scheduling.I get we all have stuff going on but talk about unprofessionalism and inconvenience.Of course I picked her up but do not plan on going back!

Took my 5 month old bernedoodle for her first grooming appointment at Happy Dog Grooming and can honestly say was THE BEST decision I made! I live in downtown Austin but will definitely be making the drive the Liberty Hill to have Ausland groomed again by them! 5 stars to these guys for handling my hyper puppy and for making her look glamorous!! We have had our matipoo "Kalani" taken many area dog groomers seeing both private and the big box store Pet-smart. Happy Dog Grooming is by far the best we have used. The owner and her staff are caring and professional persons and have always provided us with wonderful service with fair pricing.

Sometimes it's about more than the typical expectations from a provider. Our lab-mix (Griffey) has gone to Happy Dog for grooming/baths from time to time for about 3 years. Recently, while we were out of town, Griffey decided to go off on an adventure. He was a few miles away from home. A kInd woman saw him but couldn't catch him to read his tags. She noticed Griffey was wearing a scarf and thought to call Happy Dog Grooming. Based on her description of our dog, Happy Dog told her his name and then they called me. I was literally on the sidewalk at LAX when they called to give me the woman's information. By the time I reached her, she had contained my little rascal by simply calling his name. This HAPPY ENDING is thanks to the staff at Happy Dog who loves their canine customers and treats them like family. I cannot thank them enough.

They gave my Australian Shepherd Levi a "Simba Cut" that is Perfect. He has a natural mane and their expert cut really complimented him. He's really proud of his new Doo! I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
