Considering it’s a Dollar General, it’s pretty good. Personally, not my first choice, but if you need variety this place has it.Also, they have a WORKING Redbox machine outside. This location has been the ONLY place I’ve witnesses a Redbox machine actually working in over 9 months.

Small quaint and had everything I needed as always! The employees are always friendly as can be and knowledgeable of the entire store and all they carry. The store is always stocked and cleaned with a great entrance appearance to welcome customers to this great experience. I hope everyone has a great experience and always remember GO TEXANS!!

They're always changing their hours and closing the store at random times. Nothing is ever stocked, with packed carts just sitting in every aisle. It's frustrating that one day they'll be open at 8 am, the next 10 am, the next not until noon. Update, they closed the other day because of "police presence" and haven't reopened since

Don't trust their hours. They close early all the time, so there's no way to know if they will be open at night.

Today was even kinder than normal. All the years I've been going there and only two weird times....no one ever came to the register . The last two times I have been in there is a new young man and just the kindest and mannered I've seen in years. He's in training and the manager came out and I told them both, at my age I don't care if someone is learning or something goes wrong it doesn't bother me, but it's been so long since such kindness and thoughtfulness it's a great feeling. Thank you very much. Made my day.

Good place to get a good variety of stuff for cheap.Update: my original review was from two years ago (above) and the store has greatly changed in terms of quality. The store is always a mess. Shelves are either barren or stocked with misplaced items. Trolleys with random boxes block the walkways. Products are often SEVERELY outdated which ended up causing us to waste about $40 worth of stuff since the food items were purchased were over a year past expiration. Always check! Their hours are inconsistent because they can't keep the place staffed and often the staff that are there are rude from being overworked and stressed but who can blame them? Shop elsewhere.

Well I don't know who it is I talk to. I think it was the general manager the district manager but he didn't take my advice. 12.75 is a joke. If you want good people and stay open 15.00 and up. Is the going rate in Liberty Hill? You guys need to pull your head out of your a** and get with the program cause. You're losing a lot of business just saying, start paying people right?

I only shop here when I need a few items and I don’t feel like driving to HEB. Most items cost the same or a bit more. I appreciate the sense of urgency the checkers have. They will not hesitate to open another register if the wait gets too long. They are also really good about paying attention to the counter and will rush over when a customer is waiting. I’ve visited some locations in which nobody came. As patient as I am, I ended up leaving my things on the counter and going somewhere else. I wish this location was truly wheelchair accessible. They are more organized than average but the cleanliness can be improved.

Very unorganized but the employees in the management are working their hardest to try to get things straightened out it seems. if you are looking for good cheap items you could probably find something usable and they're a Dollar days aisle which everything down that aisle on those racks are a dollar you can't be there I mean from plastic where to cups and spoons and toothbrushes deodorant toothpaste toilet paper garbage bags I mean you name it and they they have to have it done that aisle I get into this Dollar general has has been a very good place

I am a resident of liberty Hill. I shop at dollar general and almost every day. It's convenient, closer than any other store, but all the sudden it's closing at 5pm, why? That's when people are getting off work and stop in. The company will loose a lot of money doing this. I also know I'm not the only one not happy about this.

I usually just go to grab something quick. A snack or small treat for the kids. Generally pretty quick trip. Not super busy ever. I always use self check out.

We like running in here to avoid big grocery store and we've been amazed at the variety of foods they sell. Even fresh fruits & veggies. Great for grabbing a few quick things we need. Always nice employees.

Couldn't find price for set of cups because it was the last one. Said "to busy to look up" there was only two other people in the store and neither were in line behind me. Manager was not there. And they do not sell Cheese Wiz ( cheese in can)

Only one person working in the cash register when there is a line of 10 people waiting, the other employees are walking around the store even when they know that there is a line of 10 people waiting. also what is the point of the employees having a mask if they are having it all the way to there chin ? no wonder costumers don't wear the mask.

There is one cashier who is petty, childish and rude. She wouldn't wait on me today because of issue's we had with her husband in public,on my property. He's a child molester and a felon and they leave they're small children at home alone all the time. This is the kind of person they employ,all the other employees are great except this one girl who apparently has issue's. She obviously needs proper customer service etiquette. I've been in the food service and hospitality industry for many years and you put those issues aside and still show great customer service for the business you work for. You are the face of the company your employed at!

My car broke down when.i parked. The staff was curious and helpful. There was a gentleman named Dan that let me use his phone and saved the day for me. Dan was truly concerned about the customer!

They always have only one cashier no matter how busy it is and other employees piddling around store. Orders always blocking isles waiting to be put on display. And attitudes seem to go with their minstrel cycle.

Very unreliable every time I go to this store it’s closed for one thing or another, I seen the sign of the new hours a few days ago & thought they would be open today between the hours of 10am-8pm but they are now temporarily closed. What is the point of even having this dollar store in town if it’s never open.

The staff needs to be trained on the Western Union transfers. How to pick up money and how to send. It's not their fault they arent given the proper training from my understanding. Western Union won't be happy to know their name is looking bad and they are loosing out on money !

I typically can find most everything I need here, BUT it is always so cluttered and disorganized. There's large carts with unpacked inventory blocking almost every aisle. If you are in a wheelchair, don't expect to be able to get beyond the front door.

Dollar General in Bertram needs help. Has gone downhill even further. Often a line of 8 to 10 people and only one slow cashier. Needs better training for cashiers. There is often mistakes on my receipts.

They had pillow-cases, which saved us a long trip to another store. We also picked up a few other items so it was a successful visit. Otherwise a pretty standard D-G.

Christmas stuff out in july. Ludicrous. Cant move in the store. Dont follow simple pandemic protocols. No sanitation is being done. Employees not wearing mask. Arrangement is terrible
