Tried to add money to my cash app via the barcode your phone can generate for the cashier to scan and apply your money to the cash card, and was refused the service because the shift leader said they had a no scanning off the phone policy. Doesn't make since if they offer the service, to deny my use of said service for no clear reason.

I am giving this Dallor General Store 5 stars for the simple reason of how the associates will go out of their way to help you find what your looking for. This is a small store and sometimes get cluttered with inventory that hasn't been put up yet but the staff will make sure you get what you are looking for in the store they are as friendly as can be ..I recommend shopping here if your needs fit what they sale...

I dread shopping here cause it takes15-20 min to check out every single time. Pretty ridiculous that there is 1 person on a register and you can hear 2-3 other employees in the back chatting and giggling ALWAYS. Not to mention half the shelves are bare while the inventory is blocking half the aisles.

New store, same problems, only worse. Never any items I actually need, long waits to check out. (3 registers and 1 is only used) credit card machine has been messed up for a week. Making customers insert card twice and slide once. Comes up declined. Horrible place to shop. FIX YOUR MACHINES!

One of the largest Dollar Generals I have been in. They were well stocked and had great selection. The cashier was very nice and helpful. They honestly have a better food selection than Walmart in Giddings. If you are looking for groceries especially frozen or dairy skip Walmart in Giddings and go to Dollar General in Lexington instead.

Good prices, of course, but also some surprisingly good products, like Oak Farms' Dairy Pure line of hormone-free milk.A fair amount of clutter, but they have to cut costs somewhere.

It's a brand New store and a new location, but boxes are down 75% of the rows.( just like the old location) The store will be bigger trash pile than the old one.People of Lexington stop going here and putting up with a store this poorly maintained. Managment needs to get a clue.

Awesome experience, friendly staff and they accept FedEx packages for pick up from FedEx, makes shipping easy, was in and out in 3 minutes. Everything was clean and organized.

This Dollar General has a great selection of frozen and pre-prepared meals. The store is well stocked and organized with a friendly and helpful staff.

It's cheap and is the only thing in Lexington that resembles a Walmart (or whatever place you have where you live). Way better than a 30 minute drive just to get some milk.

I would never give them a star. Never keep products on shelves & stocked. Workers have bad attitude when asking them a question about when products will come in & on shelves. Need new manager that will keep products ordered.

If I could rate lower I would. Cluttered, empty shelves, jammed aisles, dirty, you name it this store has it. 2 or 3 friendly employees and the rest are worthless.
